  1. It's always better to slap around a few votes to see what people say in defense than to not vote for anybody. If people say something to convince you, you can always retract your vote. Besides, people say interesting things when they have lynch pressure on them. Your post proves that you've looked over things and analyzed them, so I think it's suspicious that you haven't voted for anyone yet. You call out several people (including me) but you don't want to vote for any of them? I'm retracting my vote on Orlok and putting it on Kynedath.
  2. Orlok, you seem very eager to kill someone for giving new players advice about PM safety. Keep in mind that new players don't know who can be trusted, who can't, who they should reveal their role to (on the first day, absolutely no one). I'd also like an explanation from Hellscythe about his vote on STINK. Why do you think he might be a Diagrammist? EDIT: Do we really know if Mailliw's list is accurate? I know the faction than I'm supposedly in isn't the same as the one I'm actually in, and the other people I know are in my faction are also listed in the incorrect faction.
  3. Breaking news! A man smuggling weapons into Urithiru was killed by a Shardblade yesterday morning. Arina sat in her chair and studied the lead she'd just written, ignoring the silvery creationspren drifting around her. The lead wasn't quite what she wanted, but it would have to do for now. She could fix it later, after she had a decent first draft. She glanced back at the fact sheet one of the beat reporter's had collected. Man killed by Shardblade, had a wound in his back, strange diamond tattoo... Ah, here it was. His eyes had been cut out to hide the fact that he had been killed by a Shardblade. And what was this? Someone claiming that a Horneater champion had done it? And the beat reporter hadn't followed up? Arina needed to check this out. Clanky, I'd like an explanation for your vote on PK. I'm on mobile right now and can't do color, but count this as a vote-to-be. EDIT: I think I've figured out brackets now. I hate typing on mobile. EDIT# 2: Greened the vote.
  4. I think that the 7 statues represented virtues of the city, and reflect the state of the city, not the other way around.
  5. Then riot the teacher's emotions so they give you an A.
  6. You get a Christmas present! *inserts blue Breath-infused handkerchief*
  7. Huh. I think I have some intuitive thoughts too, they just get translated to words and I understand it more fully. This is interesting stuff. Is anybody here a psychologist?
  8. I'm not sure if I should be necroing this or not, but I imagine that each statue has their name on a plaque at the feet (or maybe somewhere else?) and that somebody spraypainted "ANARCHY" on Liberty's back.
  9. When I read, I sound out the words in my head, and it feels like there is motion in my vocal chords even though I'm completely silent. The sounds tend to take precedence over any mental images I form. I think my thoughts in the sounds of words, but occasionally in pictures. I have very difficult time visualizing smells. I did this a lot more when I was younger, but I would have silent conversations with myself. Usually one side is more naive/hopeful while the other side is more cynical. I can occasionally catch my dad talking out loud to himself. I draw primarily by using lines to define shapes first and then shading in lights/shadows.
  10. AoL stands for The Alloy of Law.
  11. I haven't been forged/ in contact with a forger. Biggoron, I've looked through D1 and I haven't seen any evidence of your "suspicion" of Wilson or Araris. I'm going to look through D2 and see if I can find anything. Until I find something supporting your claim that you were suspicious of Wilson and Araris before they died, this vote will stay on you. Of course, if you can quote posts where you express doubt about Wilson and Araris, I'll also take my vote off of you.
  12. A few events this weekend got canceled today, so it turns out I have much more time than expected, yay! I've been going through D1 to see if Biggoron posts his suspicions of anybody anywhere. Here are some interesting posts I've found. It's actually a lot easier to tell what the traitors are doing when you already know who they are. What people actually posted is in quotes. Some posts have been paraphrased to avoid formatting issues (I don't know what happens if you paste a spoiler/quote into google docs and then copy and paste it out, and this is not something I want to experiment with). Wilson doesn't place a vote on either of them. White text in brown here. Talking about BB here. And of course they have a Forger, it's BB! I am not copying and pasting spoilers onto here, so it's been paraphrased. Notably, no mention of his suspicions, whether they are on Wilson, Araris, Lopen, or anybody else. Araris places a vote on BB and calls to lynch an inactive. Wilson starts the bandwagon on Shallan. Alfa defends Shallan but is ninja'd by the turnover. It's too late to save her. This concludes D1. Someone please analyze this wall of text, or at least tell me if it is useful or not. EDIT: I think it's very likely that the traitors already know who the kandra is, because they were roleblocked multiple times. If the kandra does reveal, the Elantrian can always protect them. Then again, is it necessary for us to know Steph's alignment on this day? If Steph is loyal, I don't think there is much that can be gained/ not gained by knowing it now rather than later.
  13. The infirmary was not designed with the patients in mind, Rae decided. It was too white, too sterile, and way too loud. The air rushing in from the grates hissed loudly as it slid into the room, and the bed she was confined creaked under her weight. Somewhere far away, a door slammed. Indistinct voices murmured to one another, but their conversation was drowned out by the sound of footsteps. Rae heard louder footsteps, closer ones. Then the door to her ward creaked open a few millimeters and she flinched. Through the door’s curtained window, she saw a body dressed in white -- an Elantrian? A nurse? An assassin? The door slammed shut with a bang.. Light began pouring into the window. It poured through strange lines and dots, with a wavy vertical line crossed by a horizontal one in the center. Rae squinted at the Aon -- it was an Aon, right? If her memories of grade 12 Multiworld Studies served her right, that was… Dao. No, Edo. Sleep. It must be the Elantrian. Well, whatever they were doing, it didn’t seem to be working. Rae wasn’t any sleepier than she had been before. Rae spent the next few minutes watching the Elantrian’s silhouette, but it was pointless. She couldn’t tell who they were, or what they were doing, or even their gender. All she could find was that they were wearing white. Rae yawned. Maybe she should sleep, the way the Resealer had recommended. She’d had a long day. No, more like a long, sleep-deprived week Sleep... Unfortunately, I have less time this week than I thought I did, so I'm probably going to be more inactive. Why teachers think they can assign more homework right around finals, I have no idea. Hopefully, I can come back around Monday-ish, but until then I'm going to be mostly lurking.
  14. I think killing the kandra isn't a good idea. If they are loyal, then we will just lose a very valuable role. I think that if we really don't trust the kandra, we should kill someone with an unimportant role that the kandra said is loyal. This way,if the person we kill is loyal, that means we can probably trust the kandra. However, if the kandra seems to have no luck finding a traitor for a few more cycles, we should scrutinize them further.
