Insted I would to be Ferchemist-Misting. I love the Feruchemy as magic system and I really hope that one day we could see a true "Feruchemyst Warrior". But in my everyday life I really have problem to choose una allomantic metal to add. I haven't really interest in Compounding and maybe I would choose Steel/Iron or Bronze for the "extra sense" they could offer.

You have absolutely right. My previous post was a "possible outcome" for the Nightblood powers, but at least unlikely. The only thinks sure about our Awakened Sword when is drawned are: It absorbs wielder Investiture (at least the gassous ones) and "seems" to leaks out the same Investiture in a corrupted form: When we will see a Stormlight-powered-Nightblood in action, a lot of my doubts will dispelled.

Sure, but I don't think that come from the first or second book, because Preservation isn't know to anyone except Lord Ruler, Kandra, Ruin and (maybe) Inquisitor. But I couldn't remember if this words came from a in-book characters or Brandon

The only one I miss is White Sand, I' m waiting for a Sanderson answer at my request for it. Some books aren't been translate in my language and i have to read them in English . I liked all of them with just a little less with Elantris that seems to me a book just a little below the "High and Might Sanderson Standard", but always a great book. PS: I also read Steelheart and all the Wheel of Time but isn't a Cosmere book ;-)

He have already said something similar. The "Allomancy gene" and the "feruchemical Gene" don't mix well together, so the reason for the ferring's born in the Allow of Law era. A human could not born as fullborn (Mistborn+Feruchemist)in natural way (Rashek is the only know Fullborn). But is possible but unlikely born mistborn-Ferring or Misting-Feruchemist. Probably also the "famous" Rashek's son was "just" a Mistborn-Ferring, or a simple (but powerfull) Mistborn.

Is not a 100% sure prove ineed. But at least, Is strange for him to don't tell everyone (at least in the Bridge 4) of a strange-followind Spren, and Rock will probably see this "spren".

Well in the plains some bridgemen are says to glow from stormlight, so i suppose that they are a squire and no little-surgebinder. Then seems that Lopen don't have a Spren-bond, or at least he never speaks with is "spren", Lopen thinks to could use the stormlight to put somebody at the wall. The only Radiant with the Adesion power are Windrunner and Bondsmith. I think we could put out the Bondsmith of the discussion, and Syl says "I'm the only Honorspren, to came in the Physical Realm". Maybe is not a 100% sure prove, but at least I think is more plausible for Lopen to be a squire. PS: Sorry for the poor English

Maybe The Investiture consumed from Nightblood, simply lose or overwrite its own Intent. Es. Nightblood eats Breath and that Breath become "Investiture without intent" or "Destroy-Evil-Intent-Investiture". If this is right, NIghtblood consuming a Shard (if the magnitude of the power isn't too much form him to process) could "destroy a shard", in the meaning of "odium is no more" but something similar at "apathetic Shard", a Shard without Intent (much like Adonalsium pre-Shattering Investiture).

I am not sure of the exact words. But Brandon (or Sazed) says that the Snapping is quite "choosing Preservation". So probably is a psychic outcome in front of a huge stress, to give up or resist (ruin or Preservation).

I don't really think. When you create a Spike, you ripped some part of the soul (and Spirit Web) from the victim. Within this Spirit Web are some part of the Identity of the poor guy. If the spike remain too much outside of a body and its power decay too much, the Identity stolen decreases. With a good portion of the Identity of the victim, you could use his/her metal mind (every metalmind) simply because the metalminds see you as their creator. In reality you even need to stole feruchemical power from their creator, just an Identity spike. And his metalmind became your to access (but you could fill them without Feruchemical Ability).

He seem to be not bond with any Spren. And in the Dalinar's Vision (at Purelake) the squire don't use any surge, only the stormlight powerup.

The Hemalurgy could allow the receiver the access to the donor's metalminds . But only if the spike does not decay too .

Wonderful connection! But I am very curious abouth the 7th world, the world where we will all return to being One (and -"Everything"-maybe the shards merge ?). Yolen is too easy to think , where it all began.

I always thought it the Intentof a shard was a fairly abstract concept in which the shardholder interpreted it in his own way. In case of Odium-Rayse, we have a megalomaniac / superb with the intent of hatred . The result is an entity that wants supremacy and tries to destroy the competition and doesn't want to change itself.

If a Metalmind could be used by a not Feruchemist with the right Identity. So if you need the power to access metalmind, or just to create it. Unlucky the only way we know to lose Feruchemical powers is through Hemalurgy, but Hemalurgy steal also piece of Identity.
