Poetry's not as easy as it seems, either. If music weren't so storming difficult, everyone'd be doing it. I listen to the lyrics as a part of the song equally as important as the music or anything else. But writing my own is difficult for some reason...

I don't mean, like, incidental music or character themes, I mean songs with lyrics and all. Ideally enough to fill a concept album.

Be thankful that you guys only have to write words. Lyrics to go with music are even harder.

I love Sky High. That movie was my childhood. They're making another one.

Hey guys! I figured I'd take part in the whole creative-thing, but since I cannot draw or write particularly well, and music is my forte, I figured I could take inspiration from the Cosmere (or any Sanderson) to write. I would love some suggestions, like "dark emotional ballad based on Vin and Elend's undying love" or "bridgeman work song". Any suggestions will be acknowledged and much appreciated.

I think we've all had our fair shares of politick. I, for one, certainly have. The Shard is a community, and not only that, a family, for those of us who commit to this wonderful website. To see people get put down and discarded like this breaks my heart. The lovely thing about this website is that, even though we all live in different places, have different interests, and have different opinions, we can all gather together under our love of the works of one Mr Brandon Sanderson. We wouldn't recognize each other if we passed by on the street, or if we saw each other on the news, but on this site, we are friends. We all need to take that into consideration. There are real people behind each post. Real, human people. (Except Kobold. He's magic.) Let's not let our political ideas cloud our priorities. This is a site, a forum, a community, where everyone should be loved and respected, regardless of anything and everything. So let's keep it that way, eh? Uh... I'm not sure this is all accurate. Pay gap is a thing, like it or not. It's not just you. It did come across a bit abrasive, and condescending. You do. We all do. It's cool.
