    So guys.

    I was first introduced to the Cosmere by my former therapist, who I stopped seeing about a year ago, just because stuff happened.

    I had mentioned to him my vague interest in fantasy, and he told me to read Stormlight, Mistborn, and Rothfuss' Kingkiller.

    It opened so many doors for me.

    He and I had many conversations over games of chess, just about stuff, but once he suggested these books to me, it quite literally changed my life. We had talks about Kaladin, and Vin, and a lot of stuff, and especially (his favorite) Dalinar. 

    I never thanked him for that, because that's why I am here in the first place, so I thought I would do it now.

    So... thanks.

    Okay, I know this is a bit of a necro, but I was flipping through White Sand in Books-A-Million today and I realized/noticed two things: The faces are Bavadin's many faces. And, in the map of Dayside in the very front: It may just be a cool way to present a map, but could the woman at the top be Bavadin/Autonomy? Perhaps *puts on tinfoil hat* the way she is positioned could be an allusion to how she has "closed off" Taldain?

    That's... deep. Thanks, Chaos. I keep looking at the forewords to Brandon's books and seeing your name as a beta reader and thinking to myself: "Hey, I know that guy!" and then reminding myself that I do know that guy, but only over the interwebs. Ack! Cuteness! Also, TARDIS boots. I approve.

    IX went on for about 250 pages, and Del said she had a dream where IX was closed and replaced by "something weird", so I just thought I'd, you know, carpe forum.
