Gotta say this is the norm with Kyn, so isn't really alignment indicative. I know 'cause of my like many PMs with him over games where every time this'll come up I like you. Keep this vote tally thing up and you can go to great places, my friend. Also I would agree that this being a blackout game does make the D1 lynch more of a 'random' thing than it would be in a game where we had all the information, as we don't even know if we're looking for like the right or wrong thing and then you add neutrals and it's just like wew boy time to take it slowly. In other games, you can at least make an informed guess at what the distribution is likely to be from knowing what kind of roles there is and like the power level of a possible elim team while we don't even have that. So saying a D1 lynch is random is cool by me. 'Cause they basically always are. I dunno 'bout you, but there's been a fair few posts in this thread where people are playing it safe. Understandable, being lynched D1 for something random sucks. I was actually gonna say something here but I've forgot it over breakfast, so I should really shorten this quote box. Ah well, enjoy reading the quoted post again? Gaze upon the non-alignment indicative language, and know that which is something. @Kynedath, what's an ELA mark? And on to the game stuff in the post, a quick thingy: Yes to Kyn's Yessing of Eternum Yes to Kyn's Noing of Aman Noing Eternum. Sidenote, you'll never have sufficient evidence for a lynch on D1. Kinda-Yes to Kyn's Yessing of DoS. While voting patterns and player behaviour are great for votes, we don't really have any on D1. Understandable to not vote D1. I was also gonna say something here, but blame the bacon for making me forget some stuff while I ate it. Honestly don't know if this post is worth anything anymore, maybe I'm just trying to blend in and hide behind people who even knows

Alright guys so since this thread is getting quite samey, I'm gonna bring up something here. You see this quote here? I mean hopefully you have, because then you'd have read the rules before signing up but that's beyond the point. When I first read that, I'm sure that I like others assumed that due to the wording of this rule, it's obvious that the game is gonna start with one Evil player or something like that, right? Well, I'm gonna say now that it was a mistake for me to assume that at this point of the game, and so I hope for anyone else to have this view to maybe like quickly get rid of it from their mental notes or physical notes or whatever. So I'm not gonna see the game rn as 'X number of Neutral Players, 1 Evil Player and (Total - X - 1) number of Good Players' but instead 'X number of Neutral Players, Y Evil Players and (Total - X - Y) number of Good Players'. So when I look back at the thread to kinda apply that to any posts relating to such a matter, it seems that: Fifth and Kynedath use the term 'elims' implying that they are all for their being multiple starting elims. Stick is for there being conversions, and seems to also do what I did in leaping from there being at least one elim to there being one elim who will have extra help in some way. Otherwise, no-one else has really commented on their thoughts in this topic, so we could start a somewhat worthwhile conversation about a likely distribution if anybody wants to pick this up or something. ALSO OF NOTE TO PEOPLE SO CAPS AND A LINE UNDERNEATH ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Unlimited PMs are cool and all and I love using them to chat to people and stuff, but everyone's main priority should still be mostly conversation in the thread. A game where most people are PMing each other and the thread isn't being used much is active, but is that activity as worthwhile as when everyone is active in the thread instead? Or even better, both at the same time? Anyway, this is getting kinda long so Imma just leave this here as well for someone like Orlok to pick up and be all like 'word'.

Anything else to add?
-
I'm liking this thing you got going on here, Orlok.

Alright so I think I've accidentally missed out some people with my PMs, so if you're someone who hasn't yet recieved the pleasure of a Stink PM then please feel free to PM me. Game wise, that drought guy is still looking fishy. Like, actually looks like a fish with an eye on either side of the head this isn't a metaphor.
-
Well presumably, he's gonna bring about a drought as part of his evil plan when he's lynched, so it's a shame as I'm pretty sure pigs struggle to survive in a drought.
-
Dunno, that's probably a question for Stink to answer.
-
Ah, but did Stink have a trumpet guy then?
-
It's a shame that Len made Drought evil, but I guess sometimes the distribution is gonna distribute.
-
Hey look it's STINK what a cool guy am I right where's my guy that's supposed to introduce me with like a trumpet or something. Aight pretend there's a trumpet guy here, going bwoot or something. Today is the grand announcement that I'll be playing this game and stuff ya know I mean why else would you post in the sign-up thread you know what ignore this too. RPing as Trumpet Guy

This rule by itself is fine. This rule by itself is fine. You have modified your rule to have extra rules inside it. This is not fine, and will be veto-d by me. Honestly, I don't know what you're expecting with this. Highly likely to be veto-ed You have made your rule more complicated, so yeah. Don't make the complicated rule more complicated. Oh, more rules inside a rule. Veto. Rule inside rule. Guess what? Veto. This rule will not be used as you said another rule later. Addition? Hm. Guess what? This is many different rules about the lynch. Choose one to keep, please. This rule will be used, and is fine. Another rule in a rule. Veto This is multiple rules in one post. Either choose one to keep, or make a new rule. This is the view of STINK, the co-GM. So yes, you can choose to ignore me if you want. However, this game is not meant to be the most complicated thing ever. Maybe it'll end up as that, but if it does, then it'll have to be as the game goes on. Jondesu's rule is a perfect rule for this kind of thing. It's something he's always wanted to do, but never really could. And now he can.

These rules are getting very complicated, almost as if you're adding rules to the single rule you're allowed.

We don't do a CC lynch. Instead, we kindly ask the Elims if they could hit some inactives instead of the people RPing or being active and having fun.

Hey elims, your kill targets are bad. This does not compute with what I know, please fix this. Also @Flash it is my mod duty to say that your sig is currently waaaaaay too big. Wanna make a hyperlink leading to the writeup of your death rather than c/ping it?

I called a meeting for various reasons, ya know? 1. I can post in both threads, so why not make it basically the same for you guys for a while? 2. Everyone just did all their big PMs in their respective threads, so it's the perfect time to mingle! 3. I was bored. 4. Why not? As for.my thoughts on the lynch, I don't really have any. Just vote on people you don't like, the usual.

Welcome Flash to the best place in the whole world! Anyway, pretend I'm writing a really long post with lots of words that can be summed up in about 4 sentences. Okay so now you've read it and you're like 'wow stink I didn't know you could write so much' But there's a surprise, as you see that I even summed up my really long post for you, and you proceed to read it. It says "1. Please keep voting me for Medium every cycle so like 3 people can't elect someone else last minute. 2. Mysterious Doc strikes again 3. Seriously though Doc get some consistency jeez 4. I'm glad to see that Stick knows what's up with the medium o wait Doc doesn't trust his protector this does look kinda funny but maybe that's the forest ways 5. Gonna throw out that Jones or the Wandering Whatever could be a secret role." Then you're like 'wow that was a great TLDR stink, well worth an upvote' And I say 'tyvm'

'Sup all I'm sure you're all hyped for the Dragonslayer stuff. Basically I was thinking too hard. Elbereth is my new Dragonslayer, and can deal with all and any complaints about anything involving me. Elbereth cannot complain about me. This is a good deal

Small Large returned from his trip to the Forest, and hoped that no-one had noticed that it really only lasted for about a minute. A true medium knows when to leave a situation! But now he was with his people! And more importantly, hopefully one of his people was great at scaring trees away! --------------------------------------------------- Aight, wassup y'all. I should hopefully have a Guardian announced by the end of this cycle, but the trees have really spooked me. Just lemme start PMing everyone in this game, and then I'll see if anything happened in thread

Small Large wondered into the Forest, easily walking over the bridge due to his somewhat tall height, that isn't too tall because that would be Large Large. He'd been told by various peeps at the Court that he should be very careful of all these animals cause of this or that, but who would ever harm Small Large? Although, those trees did look somewhat looming. Wait, how can trees even loom? Small Large got scared, and wandered over back to the Court. His last thought while he was in the Forest was that maybe he should get a Logger to be his Guardian.

Aight, I need to make sure that can no-one take the test today, please? Us Court peeps are great, while those Forest peeps are also great but slightly less great. Also hope none of those Forest peeps come over, that'd be annoying to deal with
