  1. I accounted for the location change (abbreviated it as Local). So in your case there's still an extra .5. Did you use an ability on N1 when you were "inactive" and then use the room action the next night? That's the only way I can see the numbers working for you. And the jump doesn't really make sense either, because that's only for a GA in your own gang (of which Danosaur does not belong to yours, Strawman or Elodin's), and for any of you to get extra points from lunching an Epic you'd have to be a part of the Neighborhood Watch. In either case that still does not account for my extra 2 points, since I voted for Elodin and he did not get lynched.
  2. Danosaur Point Count 0.5 (Posted D1) 0.5 (Local D1) 0.5 (Posted D2) 0.5 (Local D2) 0.5 (Posted D3) 0.5 (Voted D3) 0.5 (Local D3) --------------------- 3.5 (Total) -2 (No Post N1) -2 (No Post N2) As a result, you should be at -.5. If you used the room action both nights you'd be at 3.5 which is rather far off from 6. Granted, I know for a fact that I have received a mysterious two extra points since last turn, which is making this very difficult for me to understand. @Mailliw, are there secret ways to earn points? If so, can I spend mine to bribe you into telling us what exactly they are? EDIT: Also, just in case it wasn't seen due to Dano bringing the thread to the second page shortly after I edited my last post on the first, I'm putting these edits here: ALSO, @Mailliw, you never answered my question about whether or not a GA gets points for killing someone (since it's technically an action) Oh, and @Kipper, how do you vote for and have a gut feeling on one of two living players responsible for killing the only GA so far? You evil, or you jelly bro? Either way, getgud.
  3. Metacognition Point Count 0.5 (Posted D1) 0.5 (Voted D1) 0.5 (Local D1) 0.5 (Posted D2) 0.5 (Local D2) 0.5 (Posted N2) 0.5 (Post D3) 0.5 (Voted D3) ---------------------- 4.0 (Total) -2.0 (No Post N2) As a result you should have 2 points currently. In order to end up with 3.5, you would have had to used the GB room action once and donated .5 to Elbereth. I could see that being the case since your inactivity N1 could have extended to you not using the room action. However, Elbereth was down one whole point last turn and is now at 9.5. Why did you not donate a full point then (and be at 3.0 now)? And if you did, where did that extra .5 come from? A GA kill, or a N1 action?
  4. Ah, right. Sorry about that. Yeah I jumped from 3.5 to 7, and I did the math in my GM PM, so somehow I gained an extra 2 points than I should have (which according to the rules only happens if you kill an enemy Epic) Ah, I understand now, keywords: the following day. So that means Danosaur was protected by a Bodyguard on N2 (if he's lying about being an Epic) which would also mean someone else in the GA that night is a Bodyguard, and the only reason I would imagine Dano would be protected over other players like Meta is if the two were GAs together. Do you have another way to prove your Epicness, Dano?
  5. Streets (7): Strawman, Sart, Shallan, PK, Meta, Kipper, SD Government Building (3): Mark, Alv, Dano Warehouse (3): Elk, Burnt, Lopen Laboratory (1): Elodin Pub (2): STINK, Elby City Hall (1): Aman Pool: ??? Ferry: ??? Unaccounted for: Kynedath, Clanky, Draigar? (presumably all three are on the Ferry) Elodin, you claimed Body Guard, correct? Did you protect Dano from the lynch (which I didn't even know was possible, since the sign up thread said "Bodyguard - Protect one player from death each night. You may not target the same player two nights in a row. Angry Guard - May protect one player from death each night. When their target is attacked, the Angry Guard will attack the attacker, killing them unless there is other protection, the first time this happens. The second time the Angry Guard protects from a kill attempt, he dies along with the attacker." Also, @Dano, Meta, SD: Announce how many points you have in thread immediately, please. Don't think about it, just check the GM PM and tell us the last number Mailliw told you.
  6. This was meant to be an edit but then two people posted. Even not counting the fact you haven't used the guaranteed +2 room action, I am suspicious of the fact that the math doesn't add up, which either means you lied or the GMs made a mistake. So I am removing my vote from Danosaur and placing it on you, Elodin. I will retract my vote if you provide a good reason for why you didn't use the room action and why the math does not add up. Otherwise I think you are the one responsible for at least one of the deaths. (1) Alvron: Lopen (1) Meta: SD (2) SD: Clanky, Dano (1) Danosaur: Meta (1) Elodin: Aman
  7. Huh. So I have 3.5, from never role-playing, choosing locations twice, voting once and posting once every day. I'm pretty sure you've done RP, and you've done all those things. So does that mean you have been at the government building twice but not used its location action? Curious.Edit1: Exact Math Posted D1 +.5 Posted RP D1 x1 +1 Chose Location D1 +.5 Posted D2 +.5 Posted RP D2 x1 +1 Voted D2 +.5 Chose Location D2 +.5 Total: 4.5 So there is the potential of a night action in this but not the two points from using the location action. Edit2: Also, @Mailliw, does making the GA kill earn an action point? Edit3: Hmm... so I think even though the rules say first post per cycle we have been getting a half point for every turn, as there's no way I should have 3.5 points. Therefore you, Elodin, would be at 5.5 instead of 5.
  8. Some questions for the suspects: @All4: How many points do you have? On what turns did you use your room actions? Have you spent or donated any points? If so how many? @Elodin: What did Strawman say that made you declare that he must be innocent? @SilverDragon: Why were you so quick to excuse Meta before, and what has he done to earn your trust now, exactly?
  9. Ah, alright. Paraphrase it is then. I'm basically a living, nuclear warhead. My only power is Reactive Radioactivity. If I die I will explode, removing whatever location I am in from play for the rest of the game and sending anyone in the area with me to Limbo. I already clarified with the GMs that this would occur both if I were killed by an action or lynched, and that if I die this way I can not be revived and will instead go straight to the doc. Knowing this, it is possible that, so long as I am kept alive until all the GAs are dead, we can put all of the Epics in a location with me and lynch me, fulfilling all win conditions at once.
  10. Burnt Spaghetti. Fair enough. I'll revisit my considerations of you when it's more relevant to the current situation, then Meta and Elodin seem to agree on SD, SD thinks Meta is the culprit. What about you, Danosaur? Who do you think the GA is among you four?
  11. Upon further review, you're right. I had thought that Clanky was the Blood Tyrant because he mentioned the Warehouse (their HQ). So yeah, reverse that, Elodin. Eh, I guess I'll explain. But first, @GMs, is it okay if I write out my role from my PM verbatim? Or do I have to paraphrase it?
  12. It's nothing personal, just your choice in location. If it turns out someone else among that group of four is a GA then I might consider you cleared. If I were on the GA team I would advocate that we try to remain split upon so that we have more options for kills, as there is no real way to predict where the villagers you would most want dead might be. Won't necessarily rule you out if that happens, but for now I have to consider that you might be the one who killed Rae. If you're a Blood Tyrant, I would say yes. Otherwise if you're City Watch I would say hold them for now, as Elbereth only needs a single point and we would rather not waste the rest to the flood.
  13. Disclaimer: None of the following red text is meant to be a vote. Alright so, for balance sake I think there are either 3 GAs or 6 (1 or 2 for each faction). That means there's (at most) 1 left for the City Watch and 2 for both the Blood Tyrants and Evanescents. I would also bet that at least one of them is currently drunk and was not planned to receive their alignment until at least one of their kin ended up dead. Then again, it's also possible that the drunk who replaced Honor Spren was also an Evanescent, so we should definitely not rule that out. Since finding everyone in my crew, I have made it my personal priority to narrow down on and analyze everything they've done so far, and I've got some good ideas of which ones are the betrayers. Still, with a scan plan in place, I would rather not participate in lynching anyone from my crew until they're confirmed guilty or there's convincing enough evidence against them. So, off the top of my head, here is my trust list in descending order, along with who has been targeted so far (so that you all can see how I came to my conclusion). Elbereth Clanky Amanuensis ThatTinyStrawMan Paranoid King Irulelikestink Dowanx Kipper Burnt Spaghetti Kynedath Sart Elkanah Mark IV Shallan TheMightyLopen Danosaur Metacognition Master_Elodin TheSilverDragon D1 Lynch: phattemer Regular Commander of the Blood Tyrants N1 Kill: Silverblade5 Regular Banker of the Evanescents D2 Lynch: Wonko the Sane Regular Harmsway Wielder of the Government Agents (City Watch) N2 Kill: Arraenae Innocent Evanescent (Let's bring her back!)
  14. There's no need to be sorry. The order is not permanent until this turn ends. Every location is open except for the Pub, Ferry and City Hall. I for one am putting in my order for the City Hall. If you're a GA feel free to meet me there. Otherwise, if you're a villager, I advise you stay far away. =\ so we can only scan one this night turn. Given that Meta volunteered, I almost want to say leave him be for now and get Dano first since he is more of a wild card. But only if he agrees.
  15. I completely missed this post and every one after it. I had sworn I read everything before posting but I guess I missed a lot. Sorry about that. Clanky how many points do you have? And yes, one of you definitely needs to go to the Pub and the other to the Ferry. Right now I would like to see SD lynched and Meta and Dano scanned, but my opinion on that may change based on what occurs throughout this cycle. Also, Mailliw, when does the flood occur exactly? At the end of the third cycle or the start of the 3rd night turn? A bit late to ask this now but I would like the peace of mind.
  16. Dr. Walker Curtis (3): Aman, Pam(Rae), and Taniel(StrawMan) Based on the nature of our votes, I think it's pretty obvious that all three of us are innocent. Rae was the one that initiated the vote (and given the fact they've now killed her) and they've already lost their Harmsway it's most definitely not a WGG. I voted second, and though I did not provide much reasoning (the reasoning I provided was actually based of me already knowing who stole from my bank) I did have reasons of my own. First and foremost that, due to the fact the Government Agents don't have a bank of their own and they want to do anything they can to hinder us, it was very likely at least one of the three players who were there were evil as stealing would allow them to benefit from our loss. I chose Wonko partly because he was the one of the three I was most suspicious of (the exact reasoning I could articulate but I am not allowed to say), but mostly because someone else was already pursuing him. As for Strawman, he voted nine minutes before change over and with absolutely no explanation, which if he were an eliminator would make absolutely no sense to do on a teammate (especially when they're a Harmsway wielder). If there is anyone with the ability to revive a player from Limbo, please revive Rae. I was in communication with her and although I am not willing to admit what it is exactly, she has an extremely important role for the village and has proven it to me already. Just want to confirm but, we can still use our existing PMs, right? Also, the Banker besides Elbereth needs to claim so we can decide the best location to put you. If you are on the west side of the river go to the Pool, if you are on the right side (and have enough points) go to the Ferry. Otherwise if you don't Elbereth and I will both go to the Ferry so she can scan to confirm I'm good, if there's still any doubts on people's minds about my alignment. Otherwise she / the other Banker should use their points on people who are much more likely to be a Government Agent (such as the #2 and #3 most suspicious players who were in the Government Building last cycle). Depending on the location of the second Banker, we will need to ban certain locations. I, for one, would like to annex the City Hall for myself and myself alone. If you all allow me to take it over, I will give up the Pool to one of the Bankers. Honestly it's better that I sit there for the duration of this game. I could understand why, but that would require me revealing my role and I'd rather keep that a secret for now. Couple things on this. For one, the Evanescent Snitch said in our PM (when we were discussing who was most likely to die) that the GAs might kill someone in the Government Building to make Meta look bad since people were already expressing suspicion of him. What do people think about that? Honestly I'm not sure how I feel. He could be an eliminator blatantly telling me their plans, or a villager who happened to have a lucky guess or some kind of precognitive deduction skills. One of those four is most definitely an eliminator, and I almost want to say its SD since he was very quick to throw his vote at Meta's rather than consider any other, as if he had planned this ahead of time. That being said, I also have reasons to suspect another player on that list, but I'm going to keep that to myself because I don't want to give away that I'm onto him in case I can learn anything else from his interactions. @Mailliw can you donate points on any turn or only a specific one? I've never done it so I'm not entirely sure on this.
  17. I'm excited for Sevro + Darrow, and Jaime Lannister + Brienne of Tarth as well
  18. That sounds good to me, actually. There's no reason why factions should be stealing from each other this early. Okay. So Mark was at the Lab last cycle so he's heading towards the Pub, Warehouse and Government Building now. Elkanah was in the City Hall so he must be heading the same way. Alvron is on the ferry (presumably) because he just joined. Actually, it's only 9 points for a Banker to find out if a player is a GA. There should be no reason for a loyal player not to donate their points to their Banker (since Bankers are confirmed loyal), only a GA would want to horde points to themselves, likely for the ten point protection. Considering my crew had seven players besides the Banker, that means that if each one got at least 1.5 points since the start of this game then the Banker should have enough to use on the next night (before the banks get cleaned out) along with some change leftover. That being said @Evanescents, make sure you do not donate your points since our Banker is already dead. Also, @Bankers don't reveal yourselves tonight so that the GAs can't kill you to nullify this plan (unless your on the Streets then reveal yourself and ask for protection). On the next day turn you can reveal (since your a guaranteed loyal) and we can decide which locations you two should go. I will go there along with you so that I can be scanned then return to the pool next cycle.
  19. It's their right to ask. Doesn't really affect me if anyone does or not. I'm perfectly okay with this. I volunteer to be scanned first to confirm my loyalty, and then to be left alone to my own devices. That would just be ridiculous
