    Ah, we kinda already had a discussion about you prior since we were talking about how you PM'd everyone, so that's likely why he didn't mention you later on when I asked who all he was talking to. Guess I'll go ahead and edit you in there as well, though I personally don't think you're evil. Oh, and since I didn't respond to the whole double-Ls-that-are-actually-just-one thing in thread I guess I'll put my two cents in now. I don't think L revealing to anyone on Day One was wise, let alone to two people, but it's very likely at this point that whoever he is isn't lying. If I were him I would personally not scan anyone and just self-protect for a while since him dying is, at the moment, a lot more concerning then us potentially confirming Ryuk/the Holder. I would rather him live long enough to use the scan ability later on in the game when the player pool is smaller and more info is available so that we can coordinate our resources better. Ultimately it's up to you to do what you want L, but that's just what I would recommend.

    Now that you mention that I can't help but wonder if he was killed for his role and now regret not asking Lopen for more information in our PM. I had asked him who he was talking to in PM's and he gave me a list of seven players he was talking with consistently, as well as mentioned that he sent a PM to most players but not everyone had responded. If I could turn back time I would have asked which, if any of them, he claimed to because it's possible that person is Ryuk or the Holder. I think we can all learn from this, however. I recommend that every time you reveal a role to someone that you make sure to inform a third party who you told just in case you die. It's possible that it could be blind luck (Lopen is a notoriously proficient Villager so I could see that being the reason he was killed) but I think it's always best to set up contingencies, as a lead that might end up nowhere is better than no lead at all. So, If any of you have claimed to someone this game so far, I suggest you let someone you trust know who they are before the turn ends. Considering that there are 19 living players and only two should be evil, the odds should be in your favor that you don't tell two enemies. That being said, @Alvron, are there any secret roles? I saw in the rule clarification that people asked about secret rules and the answer was no, but roles are a bit different and I figure I should ask as it's better to be safe then sorry. And for everyone's reference the players Lopen mentioned in our PM by name are as follows: Arraenae, AliasSheep, Mark IV, Elbereth, Mailliw73, Haelbarde and Burnt Spaghetti (EDIT: oh and don't forget the Only Joe). He sent that PM at 0125 so that would have given him another 5 and a half hours to talk more to other players and potentially reveal his role. But for now I suspect that one among them is either Ryuk or the Holder. I suppose you all should include me on this list as well, but for any players who have PMs with me you should all agree that I'm being tight lipped about my own role and have not asked any questions pertaining to other players roles because frankly I'm not interested in knowing. I've decided to depend on wits alone for this game.

    So Meta's declaration of Lopen being a villager before he died concerns me. But apart from that I don't really have any reasons to suspect him so, /shrug. My opinion on Ryuk/the Holder is that more likely than not they are both avoiding the limelight, hoping that (as villagers usually do) we'll just end up killing each other and perpetuating suspicion based of misinterpretations of intent and/or conjecture alone. Of the five players who did vote this previous cycle, I would rate them in descending order from most suspicious to least as follows: Elbereth, Metacognition, Conquestor, Arraenae, Amanuensis. AliasSheep, Haelbarde, The Only Joe and Bugsy6912 have all posted quite a bit without voting, and therefore have the most of my attention. Later today I will make an attempt to analyze things they have said / done so far to better determine where I place them. For now that is the order I rate them. Of those who have barely posted (and thus are remaining under the radar) I would say Hellscythe is the most suspicious (where's that promised full post, bro?) followed by Mailliw (I know why I didn't volunteer to be scanned, and it's for a good reason, by why you?), Elodin, Strawman, Luna, Ripple, Burnt and Mark. Will do some analysis on this group of individuals later as well. Finally there's the three players who haven't posted at all yet. Weaving Webs is definitely innocent because he hasn't been online since May 3rd. Cloudjumper was last online at 0512, and at the time was tied for the lynch. Not sure why he didn't post but I would guess that if he were evil he would make more of an effort to ensure he didn't get lynched by voting for DeathClutch. Therefore I think he is most likely a villager as well, unless him and Meta are both evil since Meta was the deciding vote. Finally Trelagist was last online at 0700 which also happens to be changeover. Therefore it is very possible that he could have put the order in to kill Lopen. When you get on next, Trel, can you please tell us why you didn't speak up at all yesterday? That's all for now. EDITED BECAUSE I FORGOT TO INCLUDE STRAWMAN

    So far everyone has posted but Metacognition, Cloudjumper, Trelagist and Weaving Webs. I really don't feel like voting for any of them but I'm having trouble deciding on a better alternative. Since everyone has retracted their votes except for Mark and I, I guess I'll just make a retaliatory vote, except now Elby has ninja'd me with a vote for Cloudjumper I guess I'll join her. Lopen.     It's cool; at least I can take you off the inactive list now. Going to sleep this early in the evening? Gotta wake up early for something, eh? I wondered who would be the first to jump on me for this. Oh well, I have no comment other than the fact that you're wrong. If someone's got a reason to suspect me at any point I ask they address it so I can offer a rebuttal. I just hope that it'll be for a reason more substantial than this. Yaaaaawn....

I am opposed to any plans that involve mass role reveals. I believe that decision should be up to each individual, so with that being said I will be keeping my ability (or lack there of) a secret. I am somewhat suspicious of Joe for advocating this plan as well as the fact that he did not initially acknowledge that there might be a Death Note Holder already. I would not be surprised if he himself is a holder and is attempting to sacrifice himself for Ryuk's benefit. I doubt this is the case because Joe has done something very similar before as a villager (I believe it was QF10 where he sent PMs to everyone asking what items / how much atium that he began with). Does that mean he can't be evil? No. My instincts are just telling me otherwise. Personally I hate seeker roles in games. I always feel like they weaken discussion by encouraging people to wait and see what happens rather than act on their own suspicions preemptively. So while I have no qualms with being scanned I would also prefer it if you searched elsewhere for enemies, L. Consider this me NOT volunteering to be some sort of sacrificial figurehead, as Bugsy suggested. I am going to try something new this game and vote to lynch someone every day. During my absence I've decided to reevaluate my play style and am keen to try something new and to see how people react to the change. I've checked to see who all has posted so far and it appears that this turn there are 10 players out of 21 who have not spoken up. Instead of voting for any of them I'm going to vote for Lopen, however. Have you happened upon any killer notebooks lately? Just for reference here are the ten players who haven't posted yet.     First, some background. This is the rough draft for the Prologue of the first book in a saga about a wide variety of people around the world who gain superpowers after a world-altering event. The character that the Prologue is focused on is not the MC, and probably won't have a POV again for a long time into the series. He is integral to the plot, but on-screen won't be very involved. I decided to use him to introduce the story because apart from this scene it's taking a while for action to develop and I thought it would be a good way to hook readers and give them a glimpse of what's in store. With that in mind I want to ask anyone who takes the time to read this to answer a couple questions for me. Does this chapter hook you? If so, what about it grabbed your interest? What are your thoughts on the POV character? Do you get any impressions about his alignment? If so, good or evil? What about his target? Does there seem to be too much mention of blood (and/or) gore? Enough that it would scare YA readers from purchasing the novel? What questions do you want answered after reading this chapter? Do you notice any problems / inconsistencies (in regards to grammar or storytelling)? Any additional thoughts? I'll edit in some more questions if anything comes to mind. Keep in mind this is a rough draft and therefore will probably be rewritten with more detail, and likely some things cut out. Oh and, in case you didn't see the tags I'll make sure to bold this warning: There's a bit of blood and some swearing in here. Beware. Thank you, hope you enjoy.

    Well, I probably could have won if I killed Bugsy instead of Heatherlocke and finished off Stink, assuming there was somehow a way that Mark could still get lynched with only Stink voting for him. Speaking of, how would that have worked, Joe? Would my vote have counted again, if they just ended up voting for each other? Or would it being a tie force a coin flip, even without four votes being placed? Regardless, I ultimately decided that it would be better if I instigated a draw rather than everyone lose but me, and I felt like taking the anarchy thing to an extreme.

    Either way I think this is the last turn. If Stink/Bugsy are evil then the Corrupt win. If it's Mark then the Senators do. For the record I have four boxings and am using three on Mark to make him vote on himself. Hope it will help. Oh, and Mark, just because.

    Wonko said multiple times before and after the game began that he wanted Kandra to contact him. Yafeshan is not denying that he was scanned as Hemalurgic, but instead citing a truth that he PM'd Wonko and that Lopen is apparently aware of. Pretty easy to deduce. I've been confirmed by a Bronze Misting and Zinc Ferring, so if any other Kandra would like to PM me and confirm or deny if yafeshan is one of yours, that would be awesome

    The white text he was referring to was him saying sorry for drugging me. As far as hidden mechanics, I did learn you can smuggle items into jail by voting for yourself. I'm not Corrupt. Feel free to use a Ledger on me if you have any doubts, as otherwise I can't prove it. Given that I can't vote, I think it should be obvious that the win condition isnt tied to me, because what would be the point in a Senator turned Corrupt upon breaking out of jail if they can't use the trust to control the lynch? From my perspective it's either Mark is evil or both Stink and Bugsy are. And I'd have to lean in the direction of it being Mark because he seems to be clutching at straws to prevent him from getting lynched and losing the game. I just think it's most likely that he planned to discover Orlok to make himself trusted and Stink look bad while he stabs Kynedath and Bugsy, only for that to be ruined by a Ledger.

    I'm not entirely sure what to think. It's possible that both Bugsy and Stink are evil, since I think it does make sense for the team to be larger due to them not having a reoccurring kill. But it's also possible that you're evil, Mark, and that your plan was to kill Orlok to make yourself look good while casting suspicion on the others (only for that to be ruined by a Ledger). I suppose it's possible that just Bugsy is evil and he used the ledger on Stink to gain his vote. In two of these scenarios the Corrupt are bound to win, and that's what scares me the most. I just wish I could vote =\

    It's okay. Just makes me look suspicious, which I don't like If it helps, the person is claiming to be a Zinc Ferring and that they scanned me with two charges to learn my alignment and metals (this took place N2 btw). Apparently he scanned Wonko last night, but we all know he's dead now, so a lotta help that does. Seems like the exact same thing that happened in LG15b, where Burnt scanned Alvron first, then Kas who happened to be killed that same night, and we all know how that situation ended. On top of that I had a theory the last three nights that the Spiked had some kind of power scanner, because I was purposely baiting them into attacking me and yet they didn't bite. Soooo yeah. I dunno what to think right now. My gut says burn the witch Sparker, but with our Windwhisperer dead they could prove useful. But as he said in our PM, we seem to be doing just find killing the Spiked at random. Should I reveal him? Keep his identity a secret to protect him from the Spiked? What're peoples thoughts.

    First off, I don't buy Lopen's story for a second. If anything it confirms my suspicions. What this means, however, is there are enough people on his team that him risking himself to get Alvron lynched was more beneficial for them than waiting. I don't know if I am as convinced as Mark is about the others guilt. It's possible that he is evil with Lopen and they planned to move those votes to make villagers look bad. Going to jail does strip you of all your items. They all get confiscated by the Constables. EDIT: Oh. Do we know who killed phattemer?
