I actually had a very similar thought recently. Pay attention to any player that tries to push for your House attacking a specific faction. Make sure that every player has a say in which faction you attack, if you attack at all, and how many koloss you commit to that attack. Unless a Tineye uses a PM to coordinate attacks, any two factions attacking a single one will more likely be due to Spiked influence rather than pure chance, otherwise.

There you go, then I'm sad by this though. I'm pretty sure all three of you (Mailliw, PK and Kipper) are each on different faction. We all could have learned which House doesn't have a Soother and which player has one on their team, if it was a three way tie. Oh well. And besides, I'm voting for Kipper right now. Can only really help by changing my vote to PK, which will either force Nyali and him to vote for you or get him killed. And I don't really have much desire to see him killed. I'd much rather have a 3 way tie so I can analyze what the Soothers do.

That's why I made a distinction between being hard to read/predict, and someone who causes chaos. You don't really cause chaos. You just don't do what's expected. I don't think there is anything wrong with that.

I think it became chaotic because PK and phatt got involved. When I saw Nyali as trying to dismember my plans, I switched my vote to fix what she ruined. Then when she brought up Soothers I realized that she didn't want one of those three players killed, and given she had voted for both you, Mailliw, and Kipper, it was most likely PK. So, I broke the ties and put PK in the lead, to which she responded with a frowning emoji. Hence what I was just referring to. I'd have liked to keep that between my faction and I, but when someone tries to claim I'm being Chaotic, I'm going to argue I'm not. Chaos is random. What I was doing was far from random. It all had a purpose.

Contradictory, much? Let's look at my posts, when I was inciting a tie. I make my intentions very clear. I want more players involved in today's lynch. Using faction ties is the most efficient way to do it. That's the complete opposite of chaos. I'd vote for you, but I don't actually think you're evil. At least, you're definitely not the Inquisitor. Could have been Spiked, though. I would have considered you, for sure. I think it's more likely that you're paranoid about Soothers getting one of those three players killed. I'm pretty sure I figured out which one it was, too, but it's also very possible you were playing me. Or that you're trying to make it seem like you were playing me when you weren't and just got caught. Either way, our interactions today have definitely made me respect your skill a lot more. Not that I didn't respect you already, but in the two games where we've played before you were relatively quiet in the beginning and out of the game by the second cycle.

I disagree that this lynch lately has been chaos. It's been a lot more productive than earlier, as compared to this: A lot of the votes at the time had no real purpose to them. By helping encourage numbers to stack on a small number of players, it forces players to get involved if they want to keep their teammates from dying. Hence why it got to a three way tie of 6 votes each. That's not chaos. That's order. There's genuine reasons for people to vote, and it gives me tons of information. These past votes? I can't tell if someone is voting for someone for a joke, because they're in different factions, because they're trying to make people think they are in different factions, or whatever other reason. Now it's a lot more clear because it's getting closer to the end, when people's votes actually matter. Best of all? We all can see the results. I'm not the only one that can glean information from this. Everybody can. You just got to analyze it.

I'm not very concerned about reactions, though I did get some really good information from it already. Given we still have 2 hours in this turn, there's nothing to say we cannot gain more. Plus I've kinda said this before, but what really matters is where people's votes are at the end of the day. Anything before that is much more likely to be distancing or faux-distancing, which is senseless to analyze. I'm not going to spell it out exactly, but Nyali's completely right when she says there's going to be a lynch, no matter what. No Soother is going to engineer a no-lynch. They're going to make sure one of the three candidates die, because another House losing a member is going to help them get closer to winning. That being said, Elodin, if you really don't want to vote for PK you can vote for anyone else so I can vote for Mailliw and get a 3-way going again.

Elodin! Haha, you don't need to ask me what to do, brother. If you're not suspicious of PK then take your vote off of him. If you don't care, then leave it. Just do what you want and what you / your House thinks in best.

Is it a certainty? Cause I'm 23 years old and have yet to meet one either way, generalization as it may be, I don't get where the "harmful" bit comes from.

Ah, hm. Might've been reading too much WoT, lately. Rand/Perrin/Mat make comments like that all the time. Though in this case I said I never understand them. Not that they are un-understandable. So I don't see how that's a harmful generalization about half the world's population. I see it as a statement of fact that I personally can't read them.
