  1. Yitzi: Just read all his posts. Seems okay on the surface, but he's been defending Straw without actually defending him, which is odd. For example, his first post of the game is him responding to Araris' vote with "Aren't a lot of PMs good for the village?" but he doesn't necessarily say Straw is village. Could be their teammates together. Could be a teammate of his was already voting for Straw so he wanted to stay away from it. Could even be that he expected Straw to get lynched and just didn't want to deal with the fallout, but either way, it feels off to me. I do like that he's asking quite a few questions, but I don't like that he hasn't shared any opinions of the players so far (discounting Rand), and I really don't get his logic of voting for Rand in the first place, which I already talked about. I wish I could give him credit for reevaluating Rand, but an elim would probably want to back off of Rand anyway, given my hard defense / vocalization that I'm suspicious of people trying to kill him. Conclusion: leaning evil. @Yitzi2, can you give me your thoughts on at least five different players, as well as Straw (so 6 total).
  2. Flash: Hm. Previously I was thinking Straw is town, so if that's true then Flash voting for both him and Rand looks pretty bad to me. Thing is he's new, so it might just be a result of so many people expressing suspicion of them, so probably NAI. Due to the liftoff of the Rand lynch, I allocated some tinfoil towards Straw being an elim and someone trying to save him by voting Rand, but if that's the case Flash is probably cleared by his initial vote of Straw. Don't agree with PMs inherently being suspicious like he seems to imply in that post, though I kind of get the sense of him being paranoid rather than being an elim trying to make us paranoid. Not a huge fan of him keeping his notes on the down low, but his reasoning feels innocent. Conclusion: Leaning town, especially if Straw is evil. EDIT: That being said, @The Flash, still would like to know the reasons your suspicious of Rand besides what happened with Joe.
  3. Jon: First few posts NAI. His tinfoil of Wilson feels like he knows Crimsn and Wilson are town (or, at least, not elims) and he's trying to discourage the former trusting the latter. He's got a bit of an authoritative tone going that I'm not sure is alignment indicative, but it's triggering me a little (for example, "Everyone else keep your roles to yourselves"). I would say him giving Joe time to respond is sensible, but that could just be hedging because he'd rather lynch a villager. The timing of his vote on Rand suggests he's town, even if I think it's a really bad vote. Him trying to get Flash to talk more about his reads is good, but it's probably NAI since an elim could say that just as easily. Conclusion: Leaning evil but would not lynch him today, as it's unfair to start a lynch on someone when they aren't around, and I'd like to do some real-time interaction with him later. EDIT: Oh he's reading the thread. Hi @Jondesu
  4. I wouldn't call it sneaky. Rand's stance on Neutrals was pretty blatant. Your lack of a stance is noted, though. EDIT: Just got off work and eating quick, but felt like saying of the players who voted on Rand, Crimsn is probably Town.
  5. Pretty much everyone that's voted for Rand. I'll narrow down that list after I look at when exactly people voted and read through all of their posts. In the pit of my gut, Yitzi and Jon feel evil, but that's from memory of my reactions to their posts. May change upon reread. @The Flash if you could articulate all the reasons why you're suspicious of Rand, that would be very helpful for gamesolving.
  6. Eliminators care more about their image then they do making convoluted plays on the first day of the game. Villagers care less about their image and more about ensuring the elims have as few assets as possible. Pretty cut and dry. Brightness Radiant, Straw, Crimsn-Wolf, The Flash and Jondesu. One of these five is very likely an eliminator. I'm now determined to figure out which. EDIT: Add Yitzi to that list. Somehow his vote didn't get onto Cloud's vote tally.
  7. I want to believe you're town because of this. Keep it up and I'll solidify that lean into a read some day. I'm having some doubts about Straw (mostly due to how quickly the Rand bandwagon took the lead), but I'd also like to see more than two options. Do you have thoughts on anyone else? Too much risk for something that wouldn't even guarantee every other neutral taking the eliminator's side on top of the fact it'd be completely spoiled if Rand was revealed an eliminator. That being said, glad to know I don't have to worry about you being evil.
  8. Oh right. Hi Elenion. Please be more active. It was mostly a joke, although I'm completely serious. Not a fan of the Rand bandwagon (which in itself is more evidence of him being a villager).
  9. Honestly I would rather people vote for me rather than bandwagon a guy who can't even be here to defend himself. I mean if Rand is an eliminator I absolutely have to be to, don't I? Maybe. Or he probably just hasn't played games with neutrals before and followed a hypothetical to it's logical conclusion. I'm curious what @little wilson's opinion is.
  10. Extremely far-fetched, imo. Do you seriously think that is more likely than him just being a villager adverse to a neutral take the elim's side? Would I be correct in assuming Randuir is among those your suspicious of, or are you really buying Orlok's narrative?
  11. Okay. Since this is relevant to @BrightnessRadiant and @Yitzi2 I'll go ahead and mention them. There's no contradiction. I understand how it looks that way, but the two are completely unrelated. Honestly the advice is pretty silly anyway since he says letting the Convict live long enough to use his one-shot protection is in the village's best interest, but that has absolutely nothing to do with him voting Joe. It has everything to do with Joe approaching multiple people saying if they're evil let him know so he can help them out. So first of all, if Rand is an eliminator, why not try to take him up on his offer? Second of all, if Rand is an eliminator, why lynch a neutral over a villager when that has nothing to do with their win con? If someone can answer those two questions for me in a satisfying enough manner, I might reconsider, but I'm pretty set on town!Rand from this alone.
  12. I was working on a response to Crimsn but then I saw PK's post and wanted to get my reaction out first. Ew.
  13. I'll do a read through all of Rand's posts to see if those concerns are valid. That being said, I still believe his reaction to Joe was a villager one. Drake's reason for voting Joe was pretty silly, in my opinion, so it's possible he's the PO but also possible that he realized Joe was telling the truth about being the convict. That being said, the way Randuir swerved the PO question earlier was peculiar if he isn't it. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you think Rand is an elim solely because of the contradiction between advocating that the Escape Convict be spared until he saves the Ward and then voting for the Escaped Convict, right? EDIT: Huh I swore Joe unvoted Rand but I guess I saw green text where there was none.
  14. Yay someone posted. Now I don't need to edit my previous post. @BrightnessRadiant, read that post on Page 9. Is that the only reason you think Rand might be evil? (6) randuir: Brightness Radiant, A Joe in the Bush, OrlokTsubodai, Straw, Yitzi2, Crimsn-Wolf, (3) Straw: STINK, Araris Valerian, Elenion, (1) A Joe in the Bush: randuir, (1) Elenion: Amanuensis, (1) Jondesu: Arraenae, (1) Droughtbringer: Seonid,
  15. No problem. And I'm looking forward to it. You earned yourself a townlean with your wall earlier, so I think your vote is probably safe from agenda, but I'm also not a fan of townleans voting on other townleans. Eh no worries. I'm not genuinely sad or anything. I'd just rather people vote for eliminators instead of villagers
  16. Ah right, I forgot about that PM, honestly. I was a bit drunk when I got it Ah, sorry. I'll check now
  17. My advice? Type out your thoughts on every player so far and vote for one you honestly believe could be evil. Hm. Your answer to this question doesn't really matter since you're neutral, but out of curiosity, why unvote Randuir if you think there's a chance of us both being evil? EDIT: When I say doesn't matter, I mean in a game-solving sense. No offense intended. Of course your opinions matter to me <3
  18. There's what, six of them? I would say having six votes on their side is pretty much a kill role.
