In my mind, it's more like everything is interconnected, so I am brilliant at making a clever reference at the right time. The problem is, no one else makes the connection.
-
Why have a silver trumpet when you can have a silver flute? It is true that a lot of flute players are divas, and that kind of puts me out of place, unfortunately.
-
No, I meant that the highway and the Twilight Zone would intersect, as they are both tangents and as far as I know, not parallel. Nothing can intersect the roundabout.
-
Probably not, but they both intersect. It's possible for a circle to have multiple tangents.

Vending Machine: Sanderson edition (game)

You get a vending machine repairman with his hair on fire. *inserts boxing, as that is actual currency* I mean, no wonder the machine's broken if we've been putting dragons into it.- 3759 replies

And just imagine Donna asking why everyone is staring at her left hand.

I have to go with Marsh. It's hard to kill hope, but you can't really kill death.
-
I finished my mistcloak! and it looks amazing! Will get pics up as soon as possible.

I feel as though the roundabout is tangent to that area popularly known as "The Twilight Zone."

Mid-Range Game 9: The Steel Ministry
RippleGylf replied to Gamma Fiend's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I honestly feel like I'm failing at my second go at things. I have no veritable suspicions that I feel strong enough about to really vote for. I try to get on as often as I can, but I don't have the time to make good analysis. However, this is what I think of people at the moment. DeathClutch: Your tone is very harsh and biting, but the depth that you've gone though to make analysis seems very villager to me. I don't see why a skaa would go through the trouble of reading every single post, especially after being inactive a couple days. Kipper: I don't think Kipper seems like a skaa. Granted, a day 1 death from my perspective would seem like more cause to be sour, (I'm still a little salty over your assassination of me in MR8 after I dodged the lynch, by the way, but I can't blame you for being accurate) but perhaps Kipper is just the kind of player that doesn't get very worked up about dying. However, it seems like he is trying to divert attention to Clanky after refuting the arguments against him. That seems more skaa to me. Winter: I can't really blame her for not posting often, as I suspect that she has the same problem I do with time to analyze, but it wouldn't hurt to actually try to contribute once in a while. That being said, I don't like the way that these kind of suspicions work on people. It leaves some with an attitude of "Oh, you want me to vote/contribute/whatever? Then I'll do that, then!" This doesn't allow a villager to adequately defend themselves, as these posts only exaggerate suspicion. It just makes a huge downward spiral that doesn't help anyone. Mini-rant aside, I think Winter is one to keep an eye on, but she hasn't gotten my suspicion to the point of lynching yet.- 755 replies

I will happily enter the roundabout. Out of curiosity, has anyone else had a mental situation like this?: I shall invent the flying car. First, instead of wheels, it shall have rotating fans. This will be much more productive than tires while in the air. Second, to make it fly, I shall add balloons to the top of it so that it flies. That would have to be a lot of balloons but I think that will... ah, yes. I have invented the blimp. Inventing things is hard.

When I had only seen The Runaway Bride, I hated her, partly just because it was such a drastic change compared to Rose. Once I got to Season 4, however, I loved her. I loved how it was the Doctor and his "mate," traveling around the universe. The episode with the Adipose is one of the episodes I have re-watched the most.

Seeing as my part of Memelantris won't continue anytime soon, is there any interest for The Memematist? Since I actually own that one, this kind of problem won't pop up again.

Mid-Range Game 9: The Steel Ministry
RippleGylf replied to Gamma Fiend's topic in Sanderson Elimination
And now looking back at it, you did post last cycle. I just hadn't noticed that you did, and I apologize. As for everyone else: I have no idea. In the SE games I've played so far, my instinct has been terrible. So, I prefer to look at more logical evidence. At the same time, I'm not very familiar with everyone's play style (aside from maybe Stink's). I don't really have any overarching suspicions of anyone, really. Could anyone explain to me the argument against Zepher and Creccio? I've tried reading though the thread multiple times, and I fear I am stuck in the four-page zone.- 755 replies

Mid-Range Game 9: The Steel Ministry
RippleGylf replied to Gamma Fiend's topic in Sanderson Elimination
That is true. However, I find it hard to believe that after (as far as I noticed) never posting, implying that you weren't active at all, that you read through the entire game so far, and drew enough conclusions to decisively vote for polking. EDIT: And now I see all the conversation about my "death." For clarifying purposes: At the time I did feel very stressed, and having that on top of the school term ending wasn't very good. In retrospect, I can almost laugh that I got killed by the Grammar Inquisitors. Then, it was very emotional. I was considering just not doing Sanderson Elimination anymore, as I didn't feel like I was having fun doing it. But I'm good now. Part of that was because it seemed like Orlok wasn't intending for it to turn into a lynch train, and Creccio PM'd me later just to chat. So, I'm not really sour over that death now, just at the time it wasn't very good.- 755 replies

Mid-Range Game 9: The Steel Ministry
RippleGylf replied to Gamma Fiend's topic in Sanderson Elimination
@Clutch Considering you haven't been active this entire game, I wonder how you can sound so confident in your accusation of polking. I honestly don't know what to make of last round. I haven't had the time to go through and analyze it all, but hopefully I'll find some time. Eventually. Good job to whoever got Citona, by the way.- 755 replies

Granpa Smedry is from Alcatraz, I believe. I have to go with Wayne.

It's the name for fabric that has the uneven texture. Hard to describe, really, so picture! I just didn't catch whether mine was jersey slub, or cotton slub, or some other type of fabric. I got the main cloak part cut out today (aside from the ribbons) so hopefully I'll make good progress tomorrow.
-
I was actually able to find some slub fabric (it didn't specify what kind) but it seems about right, so crisis averted!

What fabric did you use?
