Australia sounds good. Name: Lightwood Epic Status: Low-ish Epic Epic Powers: Plant-based powers. Can make plants, especially flowers, grow extremely quickly, even in inhospitable conditions. Mostly been used by higher Epics to grow foodstuffs. Does not need an existing plant to make something grow, but will take more time. Heightened reflexes, but other than that, no defensive powers. Weakness: Description: Long, brown hair with green eyes. Personality: Typically subservient, as long as her powers aren't stressed. Background: Born in the UK, Cynthia Bartlett studied plant biology at the University of Cambridge. She was studying abroad in Australia Oregon when Calamity happened. Now an Epic, Lightwood began serving under higher Epics in charge of various cities. Pony: Edit: Will probably fit in where there's an Epic already ruling a city.

I'm kinda interested in making another character, are there any cities that need anyone?

Are we going to actually do this, or not?

Allomancy, have you now abandoned the way of the Ookla? How can we continue without you?

Ookla the Ensconced continues to be anonymous! That or everyone knows my true identity and is just being polite by not sharing it.

I can truthfully say that I am not Allomancy.

I was joking, and hoping somebody would guess who I was. Oh well.

Well, I don't have an AMA yet, so no one could know who I am, right?

Okay, fixed.

I don't know what a widow's peak is...

Also haven't been guessed yet, as far as I know... This sums up why I picked the word "ensconced."

Your title says that you are definitely not the First Lurker of the Dark Alley, yet your signature suggests otherwise. Who are you?

Had to look at the list of Ooklas to make sure there wasn't a duplicate. So, no guesses.

EDIT: Gonna put this in spoilers... Probably a good idea. WLIU Name 10 times that a Doctor Who companion has died. Yes, you can count the same companion multiple times.

Well, starting second semester, my school is giving us wi-fi access. At the moment, it is password-protected and we literally have no signal inside the school. They're also giving all of the students an Office 365 account, and there will be some sort of school-wide messaging system. The problem is, it seems to be up to the teachers for what exactly students will use it for. One thing I'm afraid of is that I'll go out and buy a decent laptop, only to find that none of my teachers want to actually use the program. I think my English class would use it, and I dearly hope we can use devices during study hall now. (I once was told off for reading from a Nook Simple Touch, which can only use the internet for buying more books) I already know that band, math, and physics probably won't use it at all. I'm hesitant to buy one for only one class. Another issue is that all of the students may not be able to bring a device, so the teachers can't count on technology for lessons. If it does work out, it would probably mostly be used for word-processing, and maybe putting together Powerpoints or something.

I don't like the feel of the keyboards that are "soft," if you know what I mean. It just makes me feel like the keyboard isn't working. Unfortunately, most laptops have soft keyboards. One of the reasons I like the Pro 4 is because the keyboard felt good to type on. I'll look into the Pro 3.
