  1. Hm. Never thought, that Renarin was religious, but it seems somehow logical. Also makes sense, that he sees being Radiant as incompatible with the Ardentia.
  2. Not quite sure. For fire as describes you need at least three components: something combustible, friction and movement; but Releasers had no abilities to produce movement.
  3. Could it be, that Hoid is something like... a dream, a thought of Adonalsium.
  4. I don't think, that Kelsier enjoyed "unnecessary" (his definition of "unnecessary") deaths; but yes, they are not unlike each other. Kelsier could change. Can Mraize?
  5. I don't exactly hate Mraize. To a point, i feel somehow...sorry for him. But he has certain traits, that are psychopatic. Sadism (even heavier than Balat's), cruelty (for example toward the innocent transportmen). On the other hand, he is also sympathetic and intelligent. Dangerous combination. Very dangerous. And so far I know both (not very much, but we have a few hints), Rayse's Portfolio and Mraize's look surprising similar.
  6. Mraize is an evil, psychopatic piece of crem. Storm, if Rayse gets killed in the process of StAr, Mraize will be one of the first who will want to claim his shard.
  7. We know from TWOK-Prelude, that Division had to do with melting Stones and even fire. I think division is much more destructive than "cohesion backwards"
  8. StAr Garnet is more discribed as violet, but from the surgebinding chart we see, that it is red with a violet touch-
  9. I am very sure that at least Hoid knowws him. And they share a certain similarity, but I can't pinpoint it.
  10. Granted. T-Rex farm with approximately 1500 dinosaurs. You have to feed them but no food at the moment. If you don't they will break out and eat everything you ever loved. Also, after that they became Alcatraz-dinosaurs, who will ever complain about evil bibliothecars and believe, that you are one of them. I wish the voidbringers currently flying back to Roshar to change their course to the feet of Marsh in his worst mood.
  11. Honor does not seem to be a Shard which says: serve me or I will destroy your race. It is absolutely not first-ideal conform. I also think, that Honor's mandate is far more than only relationships. It includes the Ideals of the Radiants. We know, that bring people together is one of them, but there are also more; about protecting the weak, remembering the forgotten and following laws. Also, one point is (Kaladin and Dalinar have both their struggles with it) to let people make their own decisions. I believe, that Honor could bind Odium and Cultivation together. But he would not do it, if it won't be Cultivation's wish for it. I am not quite sure, that Cultivation will have a wish for it. Cultivation and Honor could get along till the point, where Odium will splinter her. Next: Honor does not prefer Humans. He only protects them during the desolations, most likely because the 2nd Ideal of the Windrunners. Desolation - even the name seems related to Odium, who, as you said, could not bind things together at all. Also, we know, that the Desolation-related Stormform of the Parshendi is absolutely not honorable. Eshonai was about to starting a massacre on those who disagreed with her. I think it is not that Honor prefers Humans but that Odium prefers Parshendi in certain forms. I am sure, that the Listener forms correspond with certain Shards: Warform is likely from Honor (look at their behaviour), Workform probably from Cultivation, and Stormform (and other Godforms) from the Unmade/Odium.
  12. Defensible to the point, that enemies have start to fly or teleport to go there without a living shardblade. Some of the voidbringers could do that, I believe, but at least not all. Or they have to find the path that Bajerden/Nohadon had token, but it seems not to be obvious if existing. Question for Brandon: Can you open an Oathgate with an Honorblade?
  13. I think he said, that the magic systems are "natural reactions between shards and planets".
  14. That was the interesting duality of Scadrial's shards: Preservation could read minds, but not influence them; and Ruin could influence minds, but not read them. Harmony, finally, was able to do both. But as far as I know, nobody of them was very good at reading and/or influencing minds; only a little bit.
  15. Chasmfiend/ of shattered plains/ destroys shardbearer/ destroying plains/ shattering chasmfiends. EDIT: Removed two times a "the" EDIT 2: Realised, that with removed "thes" Ketek has exactly 10 words.
  16. The theory is interesting (upvote), but I think that won't be what Honor will do. Journey before destination. It is not a very first-ideal-conform way to bind your lover and friendly shard to your enemy (both on personal and shardic level), even if this prevents something catastrophal. I believe Preservation would be able to do this, he was never the Shard that was completely against collateral damage; Honor certainly not. But probably, if we can look on it the other way around: What if the nightwatcher is a bar on Odiums prison crafted not by Honor, but by Cultivation herself. I am quite sure, that cultivation knows exactly, that Odium wants to kill her. Storm, she knows, that he killed three Shards more, than anyone other in the Cosmere. And: the nightwatcher is a very "cultivated" way to spread Odium's curses over the world. They are limited in number, in power and in almost everything else; control pure - exactly a Cultivation-like behaviour.
  17. I am not quite sure which animal in our world the whitespines resembles most in behaviour. Axehiunds are clear - dogs/wolfs, Chulls are also clear - cows, more or less. Whitwspines seem more deadly than lions. It would be storming interesting to learn more about the fauna of Roshar.
  18. I bet it will end up in the movie being upside down, no matter what you try or some other Nightwatcher crem
  19. That makes sense. Indeed, why shall the Highstorm have not the power of transformation, if it has most likely most of the others in it (Division, Progression, Gravitation and Illumination for sure)
  20. Not this parshmen-after-everstorm-crem again... Granted. You now have the spoiler, that Dany is eaten up by a Dragon riden by a White-Walker-Tyrion in S6E1. I wish all the new-voidbringers catapulted through the cosmere. Preferable to Scadrial. To the feat of Marsh. In his worst mood.
  21. Yes. The religion in BS books feels more realistic than in most other fantasy books. More... rational, I think. Not some semi-supernatural beings (known by each and everyone almost personally) , that are commanded by their priests on one hand and give moralic dictates on the other.
  22. Granted. You got the five books of "A Song of Ice and Fire". You are forced to read them all in a row. Also you are forced to feal the pain of each important character during his/her death. For help: Here is a picture showing, when important characters are dying. Further hint: most of this deaths are very cruel. I wish for an easy way to climb the unclimbable mountains and to find the man. With protection from high- and everstorms.
  23. Yes. And how this certain thing got in the hands of a somehow mentally unstable important person and a former assasin.
  24. Still 2015+19 equals 2034. And brandon hopefully won't torture us with a storming 10 years break
  25. I think you meant 2034.
