  1. Somebody shall ask BS what percentage of the population Lighteyes make. I, personally, think something between 10-20 percent; do not forget that there are a lot of "tenners" (and presumably "niners" and "eighters"). The top-levels of the lighteye nobility (fourth Dahn and upwards) can have their problems with inbreed; that are only some thousands or even less (Lin Davar is 3rd, IIRC, and is short before major-player in Jah Keved)
  2. One time in my university-canteen my friend and I were preparing our coffees. He asked me if there is 1,5%-Milk anywhere. I was so baffed somebody could ever drink fat-reduced-milk I said something like: "Fat-reduced-milk is something for...vegetarians". I am not sure, what I meant with it, but it was pretty random. To my excuse it was relatively early in the morning.
  3. Vasher, probably, having either Nightblood or otherwise some hundred years of experience. And yes. David's metaphors...they're as good as...calamitydamit, as (insert worst possible metaphor here, I am not creative enough)
  4. Still, you can acquire grey-men-like abilities. Combined with your friend, who draws duralumin-attention you can sneak in.
  5. Description: A bunch of partly suicidal and completely owerpowered terrorists try to kill the biggest employer of the planet by exploiting his secret weakness. In the process they kill a large three-digit number of his employees by their own hands, including some of his top-level managers.
  6. There are WoB that imply at least two colours of stormlight. First, the usual stormlight, that is "filtered" by the gemstones. OP's theory might still apply. Second, the black light from King G's sphere; noncanonical called voidlight. Will post the exact quote tomorrow, if nobody does it before.
  7. Tragically, TLR won't understand even half the referenes Onliteration will be making. And yes, TLR has a boring manner of behaviour. He said, that he never made mistakes which is the quite definition of boring. Oh, and don't forget, that Obliteration will probably believe that TLR is one of the even worse guys from the apocalypsis than the four riders. The speechduel would be interesting, even if a little bid asymetrical...
  8. They do. Unluckily it is not clear if you can fill or tap them while they are liquid. Double-gold are the only ones who will be resistant enought to try it.
  9. Roshone (Rillirs father) is at least friend of a "Son of Honor". I am not sure to what amount the religious Ideas of the Sons are different from standard Vorin ones, but symmetrical names could be signs of leaders or something like that among them; so they started to call their children with symmetrical names. As for Laral: I like the theory above, that her father thought she deserved a "holy" name for some reason. It's also possible, that their were some difficulties with the church and he named her with a Palindrome as a political statement (Like:"I decide what I do, not the church").
  10. While you are smelling hot bread I'm still cold from standing around an hour in the cold with my 10 year old brother, waiting for a bus that was cancelled five times in a row.
  11. IIRC, the limit of Feruchemical storing is slightly different; you can't go below natural Zero-lines. If you are being grilled you can store more heat, because you are farther from Point Zero. Oh, and I forgot, that TLR is a incredibly powerful soother. I am very sure that a soothed Obliteration would be far less dangerous than usually.
  12. Every house is corrupt in one way or another. But didn't Kelsier and some other houses (Hastings, I think) almost destroyed Tekiel in Mistborn 1 Era 1?
  13. Would be close. Three or four rounds at least, i think. TLR has more chances. TLR has Feruchemical Gold, Allomantic Atium, other Allomantic/Feruchemic abilities and a ton of knowledge. Unluckily for him, he has no Inquisitors, but he is still the most powerful mortal being in Scadrial for a long time. Obliteration has his epic abilities with teleportation and other stuff. Let us Assume he had not a week time to prepare the "ultimate Obliteration explosion". In the End probably TLR will manage to checkmate Obliteration with two shot Coins; one to the place where Obliteration will appear (Atium-shadow) after dodging the other coin.

    Lady Truth

Also (less likely) possibilities: Hammond's wife (forgot her name) A Kandra (MeLaan or something) Demoux' Girlfriend (I am very bad at names) I am very sure, that "Edgard" was never mentionet before in the kontext of Breeze. And why does the Lord Mistborn have a face that Wax wants to punch?
  15. Deep Inside prof knows and fears, that he is an "evil" Epic, I think.
  16. Nightblood! Nightblood! NIGHTBLOOD for evil must be destroyed!
  17. High german, with a strange mix of: - a touch of a Russian accent (first 9 life years in St Petersburg), which is a mix of Petersburgian Russian (less melodical than basic Russian) and Siberian Russian (speak as fast as you can and try to swallow as much words as you can; you do not want your tongue freezing), because my mother is from Siberia. In each case, roll the "R" - some wrong bavarian verb forms (lived 5 year in Bavaria) and a Bavarian accent (speak with your mustache, even if you do not have a mustache) - using Genitive and Praeteritum in verbal speech, which is absolutely strange for germans, we use Dativ and Present Perfect for it (this comes from a lot of books I read; basically i speak like i would write) - Berlinian accent (6 years in Berlin), basically you use some words no other German understands, substitute "h" "ch" at the end of a word with "k" or "kke" if possible and swallow the first half of indefinite pronouns. Speak the rest as if you are short before cursing at a Bavarian or Russian guy. Be nice, but be impolite. EDIT: And now think how this lot sounds when I speak english.
  18. It's tragic how this mostly relatively good people are murdering each other...
  19. I have a deep philosophical thought: Since there are giraffes on Scadrial...are there anywhere else giraffes in the Cosmere?
  20. Damnation. This is a fight I want to see. Probably it will end with Szeth as the winner, but it will be close. (I still like Alcatraz more, but my vote is on Szeth) Can Alcatraz break a Honorblade?
  21. Cooperation... Competition... Why not both? The so-called co-opetition is often one of the best motors of progress? Sorry, had an exam about this today.
  22. Why not his sister? Shshsh didn't die, but went to the Reshi Isles where she became King (the King Rysn negotiated with)...
  23. The point of Palah in the Palaneum is even weaker than on Jezrien and Ishar: it was a woman with a sphere-lantern that walked in front of Shallan. It is possible, but really, this is not much of evidence.
  24. Do you think it is appropriate to open a portal into another dimension with a lot of murderous creatures for a Dungeons and Dragons mid-low-level Party? Me neither. I'll still do it.
