I really only have nintendo consoles (I know...), but Zelda looks pretty great, very different, but really fun.

A couple months left, I can wait... I can wait... *Remembers everything he is waiting for and feels the dread of waiting*

Well hello Shard, you are looking new and fancy. The new Zelda looks great as well. So hyped!

My usual reply to compliments is "Yeah, I know." Then I remember common courtesy and add "Unnn... eeeeh... oh! I mean thank you."

You can never learn enough instruments.

You definitely need to learn another instrument.

I like it. I love twisted fairy tales, and this is very interestingly twisted.

Yes, why are you even asking?I like Tarantino in general and I rarely watch films. I also thought of another clock analogy this morning! Twimom is like a slightly glitchy digital clock: sometimes showing symbols vaguely resembling the correct time.

I was from some earth, a couple universes ago... *Stares into the distance* Anyway, hello, welcome and all that. Who is your favorite Stormlight character then? It is Shallan and Jasnah, right? Lets be Shallan buddies. -
Well, I havent actually finished it yet, I took a break to read some other things I wanted to read, but I will pick it up again, as soon as I am done with either American Gods or The Furies of Calderon. I have excellent taste though, so you can trust me.

Some Dax Riggs now that you live in Louisiana anyway. He was also in a Sludge Metal band called Acid Bath and now he is just playing some dark acoustic alt rock under his own name, of very varying quality, but his good songs are storming great.

As much as I want to run really, really fast about every day I'll take the healing. Would you rather be a seeker or a slider?

Reading The Weird A compendium of strange and dark stories (110 stories of dark weirdness, from Kafka, Lovecraft, Neil Gaiman and so on and so on), Songs of a dead dreamer/Grimscribe by Thomas Ligotti (A fantastic collection of horror shorts), American Gods and The Furies of Calderon. Orlion you should look into the first two if you haven't already. Especially Ligotti.

You have some shorts and The Reckoners left and then you have more or less read everything Brandon has written. Unless you count the last Wheel of Time books. Then you have to wait like the rest of us XD Painful, isnt it? Anyway I second Rothfuss. The Name of the Wind and The Wise Mans Fear are gorgeous books. The Lightbringer Trilogy (All five books ) by Brent Weeks are pretty good if you want more awesome magic systems. Dresden Files (If you can get past the first three not all that great books) and Codex Alera (Which I have only started, but recommending it anyway) by Jim Butcher are pretty good as well. For weird things Kafka on the Shore (Theres talking cats and stuff, Im not sure what is going on, really) House of Leaves ("It's a book about a book about a film about a house that is a labyrinth. In short, it's a book that is a labyrinth.") Perdido Street Station (A scientist, who is dating a woman with a beetle for a head, a beetle, not a beatle, though that would arguably be weirder, gets asked by a bird man without wings to find a way to let him fly again... and then things get weird...) Then reading some Edgar Allen Poe and HP Lovecraft is always healthy and then I have to recommend Songs of a Dead Dreamer by Thomas Ligotti. Lots of weird horror shorts.

The Official Thread of Relationships
Zathoth replied to Curious Anamaximder's topic in General Discussion
I think it is less a case of there being anything wrong with it and more your libido coming along and punching you in the face, which is mildly annoying. -

I raise you both your best friend and another friend falling in love and completely ignoring you for it. And then lose half your friends over the drama that followed (Which to be fair was partly my own fault)... and thats how I got rid of my depression XD It makes no sense. Kelsier helped... Ah, that feeling, I know that feeling all too well... good news is it gets easier to ignore, most of the time, bad news is it gets more annoying when you cant ignore it. Combine that with my extreme commitment issues and XD Im really not sure how that is going to help anyone, I figure we are just trading anecdotes. -
Kid years: Pokemon and cartoons! Yaaay! Teenage years: Pokemon and cartoons? Thats for kids. Im too old for that. 20something: You know what? This sucks, whens the next pokemon game coming out?

According to my theory that is why teachers become teachers in the first place, then they become principles and... yes. Twi that is devious! Never change.

Once upon a time in the 80s Gainax was 12 people, making an opening video for a con. And I cant stop watching it. It is just all kinds of perfect.

I solved it, I started the story earlier with Riem getting the job. Now I have no idea what I am actually doing anymore because I didnt plan to start the story this early, but I'll figure it out...
