This I ended up color coding, probably, unless I really want blue lightning, which may happen... Red makes the objects/beams/gases/liquids... the aurora, hotter, obviously Orange I have yet to figure out, ideas? Yellow makes the aurora give off electrical sparks Green makes it toxic, of some kind which I will figure out later Blue makes the aurora colder (I am very original so far, I know) Purple I may make it have its own gravity, so the aurora beams would make things super dense until they implode on themselves, or something, or that is black and purple does something else... Maybe I should have violet as well... EDIT A friend just solved this for me. Red: Heat Orange: Dryness (Absorbs moisture) Yellow: Electricity Green: Poison (Of some kind) Blue: Cold Purple: Wetness (The opposite of orange) Violet: Gravity

Thats a much better angle to approach this from. That is not a bad idea... as badly as Naruto triple backwards flipped the shark it had some good ideas I guess I'll just have to turn turn stuff into jelly or dried husks if I want interesting injuries.

Warning: This is a link to Tv Tropes I'll do my best to sum it up so you dont spend all day clicking through tv tropes. So fire burns, ice freezes and lightning electrocutes, but the other common elements really all do the same thing, earth hurls rocks, water hurls water, wind just blows you away, pun intended, and so on. Anyway my question is: can anyone think of an 'element' that does a more interesting kind of damage, like burning, electrocuting or freezing?

The Official Thread of Relationships
Zathoth replied to Curious Anamaximder's topic in General Discussion
Speaking hypothetically, friends are in general more permanent than dates, especially at that age. As long as this hypothetical person does not forget about his best friend there will probably be no harm in giving the cute guy a chance. Of course this is speaking hypothetically about sensible human beings, which are the frictionless vacuums of relationship advice. -
@ScottLeft I wear the kanji for 'Dog' around my neck, because it is my chinese zodiac. Well, mostly because it was a birthday gift about ten years ago and I just never bothered taking it off. You could get something from Brandon's store.

I think I finished the first chapter of my serial web novel. It needs some improvements, I need to clean it up a little, fix my horrible character and environment descriptions, add some foreshadowing when I know what to foreshadow, but otherwise II am happy with it... oh and its a bit on the short side, but I guess it works.

I watched Hellraiser, was good, gory fun... and Kirsty is really cute...

@Orlion Determined I finally finished Perdido Street Station, really liked it, thanks. Now... I dont know what I want to read... maybe I'll just continue Dresden Files... or I'll read Neverwhere or The Ocean At The End Of The Lane... or I could continue Lightbringer, maybe start reading City of Stairs... Choices, choices...

I usually pull it back, not in a pony tail or anything, but just back. I wear hoods a lot and I rarely have problems.

I knew someone would downvote me for that, said it anyway XD Someone here is very sensitive to the darker kinds of humor, I have noticed. Oh well. Thanks. Elves are fabulous, I'm fabulous, accept your fabulousness!

Jooooooooiiiiiin uuuuuuuuuusssssss..... You too can be fabulous like me and Mega Ampharos. As for the entire gorilla thing I would like to quote the wise words of one of my favorite podcasters: "Pro gorilla, anti children." Lots of children, not as many gorillas. By the rules of collectables that means gorillas are more valuable.

Would a magical blade have friction? Sooo... everyone remember the song about the Witch I was writing yesterday? I figured I could describe her by combining these two images You know, the entire Raven feeding in the snow, with blood drops in the snow with the raven hair, ivory skin thing (My greatest weakness...) Yes, the entire raven hair, ivory skin is kind of generic, but I think the cognitive dissonance you would get from describing something beautiful with something gruesome could be really cool... maybe...

It would be interesting if one of characters were actually seeing through the forth wall. Jorin went to get a ham sandwhich "But I want cheese." Jorin grumbled at the author. Do you have to argue with everything I write about you? "Do I need to remind you of all the sick crem that you have written so far?" He said to the author in a cold, sarcastic tone. "You are not exactly trustworthy." Look Jorin all fiction is based on conflict, some horrible things need to happen. "You killed Ilma, with hornets!" Look just eat your ham sandwhich and stop arguing! Jorin made a cheese sandwhich. Do you want a T-Rex? Because this is how you get a T-rex. I had way too much fun with that... Anyway the idea that reality is a fictional story is an idea I had since I was a child. Sometimes I wonder if I bore the viewer...

... no, but I was looking for a word that rhymed with witch, thank you sub consciousness.
-
Exactly, and you cant listen to the song over and over to scratch the itch. Its a sequel to another song I wrote once upon a time, about a witch.
-
Having your own half-written songs stuck in your head is really, storming annoying. What? You want a peek at the lyrics? fiiiine... something something something

I am all for this. Is a horror comedy a Splattercom or a Screamcom?
