I really want to be part of the virtual choir but I just pre ordered Oathbringer so I'm trying to conserve money... Anyway this looks like a pretty awesome project. I've always loved orchestral music and I know some of us have written fan music but this will be something above and beyond that. Pretty exciting. -

I really enjoyed this book. Granted, Firefight was better and the ending was a little underwhelming (but still great), yet I still really really liked this book. Nice work Sanderson... And the Reckoners swag I got with pre-order was fun. The one chapter that almost almost made this book my favorite of the series, was Chapter 17. I love the interaction between Megan and David, and when he calls her a Sunrise instead of a Potato or a Hippo, and then explains himself so un-david-like-eloquently and she tears up... Then in the same chapter, I was reading along and saw: And I loved the book. Because that's my name. Thanks Brandon.

I'm not the only one who has consciously tried to draw Pattern in my phone screen lock pattern am I? Unfortunately after locking myself out one too many times I was forced to revert to an easier less complicated Pattern. Mmm. Lies. Anyone else? Everywhere I go, Stormlight things pop up. (Let me set my Brightness...)

You can download it as a musescore or musicxml file then it can be viewed. Musescore 2 is pretty good and free Again Ookla has great points about the timp now. Picking four notes is a good way to make sure it's playable. I often choose simply the base, maybe a 4th and/or a 5th, etc... Having a run won't be optimal. Then again, you don't have to stick with the same four notes for the whole song. Tuning can be done in between hits. However, might be best to just stick with the simple at first.

I'm at 37.5k now... Last year was my first year and I failed miserably with 27k, so I feel really good and I've finally caught up again with the line... Hopefully I will make it this year! and maybe next year I can shoot to be early like all of you.

So I'm not an artist... I wanted to make a 3d model of Kaladin, I got the body made in makehuman, and then I realized I won't have time to add the clothes. So I thought I might as well just give you a face shot edited in blender and gimp... Not very good, I'll admit.

I installed Windows 10 on my 8.1 but had to downgrade after a few days because most of my software crashed frequently and/or wouldn't run. Also, windows installer wouldn't install anything... I'll probably upgrade again towards the end of the free year when bugs are worked out

For just drawing I generally use Krita or MyPaint (both free), but they might be less of what you want as far as smooth clean vector-y lines though I'm not sure. Best if used with a Wacom device or similar. And I agree about GIMP. At least for Windows the UI is awful. Paint.NET I've used a lot but it isn't as advanced.

Wow, everything just looks awesome! Great work and keep it up. I really will want to see the finished product... Or, if you're still short on hands (yeah I'm late), I'm one of those people who can do most everything, but is only semi-OK at all of them. My stronger suits are probably coding and music... And I'll be busy the next few weeks, but yeah!

Stormlight Archive and more importantly Words of Radiance. No question in my mind of that. True, all his books are good, never disappoint, but nothing surpasses the SA.

Thanks! I had fun with the lullaby and was partly inspired by this version. That is, I first found the melody in my head a short while after listening to it and put it to the words. In the video, since it is an "orchestra" playing it, I did take a little musical license and changed it slightly so at some parts there may be two notes to a syllable where there wasn't in my head, but in general all the lyrics should fit the melody. Glad you enjoyed it! I hope to make more eventually...
