  6. There is a WOB that says Kelsier is still around, "not going towards the light." He must be doing something and Wax could be helping Kelsier in some unseen way.

  8. Why haven't you watched Doctor Who?
  9. I selected Protestant, cause I go to a Methodist Church, but I believe in everything a Christian believes except that everyone goes to Heaven and it is based more on actions than on belief. I don't usually get to talk about people about religion because I live in a part of Florida where people are very passionate and controlling on their ideas. My mother leans on the side of a old controlling christian when it comes to christian views. She is openly against same sex marriage and doesn't believe in any science topics that I try to share with her. When I try to discuss religious topics with her she yells at me, for our views are different, and tells me to go read the bible some more to truly understand christianity. My Dad is the exact opposite with he is an Atheist and is very anti-religious. We were talking about a documentary on Scientology that we both watched and I was talking about the terrifying, basically mind controlling techniques that they perform on people, and he constantly has said since then that all churches are mind control money making machines run by smart rich guys working off the weak. Also If you haven't seen the Scientology documentary on HBO it is very reveling and you should go watch. My Mom showed me the good about Christianity while ignoring the bad and I believe that is from her upbringing where she lived in a bad experiences at home and her only help was religion. My Dad showed my the corruption that religion can give and how it can affect people and society while ignoring the good it has done and I think that has to do with his upbringing in his West Virginian home town where he said he was an Atheist and the coaches gave him a hard time and tried to forcefully convert him and he didn't want him that. Both of their views have let me balance both the good and the bad that religion can give and affect society. I'm happy for having that type of balance and respect them for that. The only religious domination that I think I am against is the West Boro Baptist Church, which if you don't know who those monsters are they are terrible. Seriously when your official website is called godhatesfags.com and they say thank God for 9/11 it just makes me sad to think about. I accept all other religions and the only way that someone can get me angry, and I don't get angry every except if this happens, is when someone makes fun of someone else's religion and say that person is going to hell especially in someone's face. I love the topics of religion and their origins and I started looking into religions when I read The Mistborn Trilogy, specifically Alloy of Law, where we saw the origins of four different religions and how they grow and change. Thank you, Brandon Sanderson for this because I want to research religions and study them when I grow older and go to College. @kaymyth How did you convert over to your religion (if your already stated this I'm sorry I might have missed it). I find it really interesting cause I have never met anyone that follows Ancient Egypt's gods. Lastly, I want to thank all of you on this site for I couldn't have said this anywhere else with out getting some backlash and knowing that this is a free space is a very heart warming idea.
  10. I voted. Also i'm going to get my family to vote for this to. I really want this to work out for you and your friend.
  11. Walin the Second stared up to his new God, feeling his immersive power that Rashek gave off just from standing there. Walin saw beauty in this living breathing God against the ash covered sky and had a perfect thought. All should worship him, and if I spread his name and glory he will honor me so. Walin though back to the time in his home Kingdom in Seran, thinking of the statues of the great Ser herself. That is what I will do build statues of him to show his power and like the God himself the statues will stand there for the test of time.
  12. Start reading Alloy of Law. It is the best one yet.
  13. Hey guys uh can we cool down on the voting me off. Seriously I haven't really done anything and now that I start to become active you start to vote for me even more? 15. So I have this summer reading for my new high school an I'm stuck between five books on reading. First is the Divided We Fall Second is Brave New World Third is The Good Earth Fourth is Feed Fifth is Catcher in the Rye If any of you have read the books and could put my path in the right direction I would be eternally grateful. Also if anyone on here goes or use to go to a dual enrollment school can you share your experiences on that, did you benefit from it?
  16. The House of Walin "Will you follow me?" Walin, the First of his name, stared Rashek straight into the eyes. He looked at his two sons standing behind him, his eldest Tevidan and his second eldest Walin the second. Walin the first turned to look at the ash covered sky and thought about his close friend Alendi and how he followed him to save the world, to follow Rashek was to conquer it. "No I will never follow the lik-" He was caught off for the sword stuck in the wall was Pulled forward cutting the head off Walin the First. Rashek caught the sword midair. Tevidan screamed, "How dare you! You will face the wrath of the Seran Kingdom" Rashek gave him a dull look and Pushed the sword forward cutting the one minute King down. He turned the next son who was kneeling. Walin the Second stared at the ground now pooled with his family blood saying, "I will follow you as a subject follows a Lord." He open his hand up and lifted it to face his new Lord Ruler. The lerasium bead struck his palm, holding the power of a God.

  18. I think the Southerners will have some way to block soothing and rioting with their mechanical allomancy. Also if emotional allomancy is treated like a drug in a future series what would rehab look like? Could their emotions be so out of whack from this long dependency that it would be worse to take them off this than continuing it? If a soother addict had their anger and stress soothed for a year and that is taken away the anger that is released is a year's worth. That could cause this person to hurt someone if he attacks anyone near him or himself if a relatively calm heart experiences a year's worth of stress.
  19. This is just a simple question. When Sazed became Harmony he healed Spook's burns and turned him into a mist born. Demoux had his scars from the Koloss attack, and it obsiouvsly didn't heal for it was we see him described in Way of Kings with those scars. I believe if he can change Spook's spiritual DNA, correct me if I'm wrong about that, he could heal scars. I also have this fan theory that the Set started out as a Cult to Spook.
  20. With this whole discussion of sociopaths and psychopaths it got me thinking of this idea. Say later in the series, like the 3rd trilogy maybe earlier, they find away to let metal take a longer time to burn. Now say there is a terrible psychopath who is a serial killer and instead of giving him the death penalty they set ten or so soothers on him leaving him devoid of emotion, think of the affects of a frontal lobotomy. I think the death penalty won't exist because of Alloy of Law's society really doesn't have these kind of thoughts, but that could change. In later series instead of having talks about the death penalty they finds the next best thing this soothing suppression. EDIT: If this is discovered even earlier in the 1940s series, if that is ever made, we can be shown the discovery and then see society discussing the affects in the 2nd trilogy.
  21. I had the same problem. It wasn't till I got past part 1 that i really started to get into it.
