Yay! Victory toast! Congrats all. I'm a bit jealous that stick was on to do the "Mwahaha I'm evil" thing at the end and I wasn't. Thanks for spicing things up there at the end, Wilson. My older brother came over to the computer at one point to ask what I was laughing about.

By my count, Flash has 2 votes, I have 2 votes, and Araris has 3 votes. I seriously doubt that Araris is an elim, so I'm voting on Flash. He's a better shot than Araris, even if my previous reasons were wrong.

What?? Oh. These colors look exactly the same to me. Arghh, I missed the first one and assumed the second one was a vote. Sorry about that, Flash.

Aha! That's exactly the sort of thing an evil player would say to throw suspicion off of themselves. And I don't get why I'm suspicious. Wilson had her favor called in and voted on Araris. You immediately voted on Araris as well. This after saying that we had to get this vote right. Your reason for voting on Araris makes no sense. You're voting for information, but we don't need information, we need eliminators. You're inconsistent, and as of just now, you're trying to redirect suspicion to a player you haven't had any suspicion of previously. That reeks pretty heavily of eliminator to me.

Dangit. I talked about this just last cycle, didn't I? That's what we get for having open PMs. Regardless, Flash is clearly evil. After all, why would a villager wait to vote on their largest suspicion until after a neutral revealed that they had been bribed by the elims to vote on them themselves? Unless you're just that sure of your superior numbers. Anyways, Vote tally: Flash (3): Araris, Stick, PK Araris (3): Wilson, Orlok, Flash, Elbereth, Cloud Stick (0): Orlok Drake (0): Elbereth Wilson (0): Orlok Orlok (1): Elbereth Crimsn (1): Orlok ... What? @OrlokTsubodai, are you counting on them being so distracted by your vote changes that they won't make good on their blackmail?

It's kinda given that if they are blackmailing you, you wouldn't tell us about it. Most neutral win cons hinge on surviving, so if the elims said they'd kill you if you betrayed them, you wouldn't have any way to communicate that to us. Or maybe none of that is happening and I'm just paranoid. My point is just that I couldn't trust elim!neutrals if they said they weren't evil. I'm voting for Joe because the neutrals want to get a neutral lynched. Half the villagers want that same thing. Half want to vote an elim, but don't know where to find one. The elims know who they want lynched, and because half of the villagers would vote for anyone other than a neutral, they could easily direct the vote onto a villager. And then next cycle it would be the same thing. I'd rather lynch Joe sooner than later so that we can all get focused on lynching elims. If more villagers are interested in that, it's harder for the elims to say "Joe and Straw are the only real contenders. It's your choice, but I'd go with the non neutral. " Anyways, those are my thoughts for now. See you next night cycle!

I'm going to be traveling all day tomorrow, so if you have concerns, I likely won't be able to get back to you about them until the night phase. Unless the group PMs I made at the beginning of the game are your concern. Not much to say about them, really. PMs are fun, and Straw mentioned that he didn't have a nice round number. So I made a few with him in them. Personally, I think we have 13 players left, not including the neutrals. After another cycle, we'll have 12. I feel like I'd rather not lynch Joe yet, because the elims seem to have been picking off actives, and after another cycle or 2, it'll be game over. But at the same time, I worry that the elims have been helping the neutrals this entire game in exchange for their support, and if I don't lynch Joe, I'll be strengthening the neutral's ties to the elims. So either I try and vote someone else, (And with the vote split, the elims could probably influence a villager to die anyways,) or I vote on a neutral to stop them from helping the elims. *sigh* Joe. If the elims are blackmailing neutrals, this game might already be over.

That's quite a lot to go through, Flash. Hope you get it all put together. I guess I'll toss a vote on Seonid. We don't seem to have a lot of activity right now, and I'd rather lynch a less active than one of the people trying to analyze. Also, @Shqueeves, nice to see you back. If you don't want to read the whole thread, I'd recommend you just check out Flash's analysis page.

So here's the things people said about Straw on D1: (Why did I do this?) (I forgot how long D1 was) (18 pages) (Never doing this again) Alright, so... Not sure how helpful this whole thing will be, but here are some of my thoughts: Yitzi supported reinstating PMs without Straw in them. I guess Lopen died, but Dalinar is probably good. (Because that was Yitzi's PM group) Stink wanted Straw lynched. Possible that he had contacted the elim team on early in the cycle, and was pushing for them to lynch straw Aman was vehemently against killing Straw until Randuir was attacked. Might have been a diversion to get Aman to suspect Straw Although the elim target seemed to be Straw, Jon was lynched. The Jon voters might all be villagers. Flash didn't seem like he knew what was going on. I'd guess he's a villager, because the elims would have filled him in a bit.

Yeah, but say we lynch the neutral this cycle. Game end comes, and we have 2 elims left (Exact number doesn't matter.) If we lynched an elim this cycle, game end would come and we'd only have 1 elim left. Sure, the neutral is still around to confuse things, but we have fewer elims left. How is that ever a bad thing? And we want village-oriented neutrals to win anyways, right? You know Joe is Valjean. So by lynching him, you'd be making him lose. I'm not sure why you would want such an anti-neutral strategy. You're a neutral yourself, right? What's your motivation here? My bad. Mixed up Javert and Valjean. Valjean wouldn't lose (yet,) but my point about using a lynch on a neutral when we could lynch an elim instead stands.

Not really. According to your proposition, we'd by lynching a neutral to find out another neutral's role. That's an interesting piece of info, but it's not essential. I feel like lynching Straw is a lot more helpful for finding elims. Sure, we haven't had a lot of info from straw this cycle, but Straw has had so many interactions in previous cycles that would be helpful to clear up. For example, both Straw and Asterion likely aren't elims, (because they both got involved in averting the yitzi lynch) so if straw is an elim, Asterion probably isn't. I feel like that's more helpful than knowing if Wilson's lying or not. Even if she is, we'd have to lynch her in a future cycle, which is 2 cycles wasted on killing neutrals.

I don't know for sure, but even if he's not, so much discussion on the early days was centered around him that it would help us find an elim anyways.

So here's what happened, then. If we kill Straw, we kill an elim. If we kill Stink, we have no possibility of killing an elim. Stink can't steal from the ringleader again, can't make the elim kill, doesn't count against the win con, can't strategize without PMs, and has likely already given the elims all the info he gleaned from PMs. Personally, I think Straw is a better bet than Stink right now, even if Stink has been a jerk.

In an attempt to be more active, I've been going through and summarizing everyone's posts. I've gotten to Elenion by now, and I am exhausted. I do not look forward to summarizing your posts. Anyways, of the people on that list, I've only gotten to Straw so far. He's posted the most of everyone on my list, even if his posts are short, not to mention all the PMs he's made. And I'm sure he's talked to people a bit more in those PMs. In short, he's really active. I've got a definite villager vibe from him in that he's being really active without trying to influence the strategy too much. I feel like an elim would channel all that time a bit more effectively. I'm not sure I understand the controversy over rand yet. From what I saw, he proposed a strategy that neutrals don't like. If he's a villager, he'd turn the neutrals against the village, so he should be lynched. If he's an elim... he should be lynched... I guess I can see that point of view. If we lynch him and he's village, we show the neutrals that we don't support his strategy? I feel like there's probably better ways to show that, but lynching works too. The only thing I've seen about Yitzi/Stick was that Striker thought they were odd. I'll have to get back to you after I've done their summaries. (Addendum: Yitzi is a bit more ambivalent in this game than in previous ones. I haven't seen his playstyle before, but I guess so. The last-minute switch was odd, too. I'll tag him as a probable elim. Yitzi. I'll check his posts eventually.) Brightness has been helpful, I guess. So, village? She's next on my list, so . . . Bfjdklwf. I'll look at her posts now. Wow. By my count, she has posted 71 times so far. Anyways, she changed votes a lot D1, and voted against Randuir, which Aman doesn't like, but I'm leaning pretty heavily village. Her reasoning for changing her vote at the end was that she felt like all of her top suspects were village. I agree with that. I've said it before, but on D1, since the villagers don't know who to lynch but the elims do, the lynch tends to turn up villager. I feel like she was justified in changing her vote last minute. She also proposed a solution for why the elims would attack Orlok. If Yitzi turns out to be evil, I can see lynching her, but until then, I don't think she's a good target. Having read over her votes, I have no idea how to react to Joe. It looks like he claimed he was a neutral who would help elims, and asked PM partners if they were elims. That seems horribly unsafe. I'm not sure why he'd do it as a elim sympathizer, because he'd just get lynched by the village. The only explanation I can think of is that he was just trying to draw elims out and betray them. But he could claim he was trying to do that as either a villager or an elim. Blah. I'm gonna keep finding suspicious people I have to research. But I'm done for now. I'll be back later, after I've summarized more posts.

Hi, I'm back. I'm not usually very active on Sundays... Anyways, from what I've seen in the thread, straw is being voted on for making too many PMs. Randuir is being voted on... for some reason. And he won't be back before the end of the cycle to defend himself. I don't think either of them are evil, though. Straw might be evil, but I get the impression that he's just making the most of his PMs while he has them. So... shqueeves, I guess. I'm not suspicious of him, but I feel like lynching an inactive is better than the current bandwagons.

Quick Fix Game 24: Eliminating Elysium
Paranoid King replied to Sart's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Everyone seems to be saying that I used cytonics on BB because I thought he was a UIB agent. The thought had never crossed my mind. All I knew was that every post, he expressed suspicion of me, but never actually voted on me. I figured he might be an alien because of that, and blocked him and drake (I'm a cyto adept) Anyways, I'm probably going to die anyways, because that's a lousy excuse, but I'd recommend looking closely at Brightness Radiant, because she was the first to suggest I killed our UIB on purpose and then confessed to it.- 433 replies

Hello, fellas! Lovely barricades you have here. Veery nice. A shame they don't keep any government spies out. Tell you what. Instead of shooting guns around randomly, we find some traitors and stop wasting ammo! Honestly, there's no way for the rebellion to win if we keep wasting our resources. You! @The Flash! I know you've been around, doing a few other things, but why don't you pop in and say hi? You've been pretty active elsewhere, after all.

Quick Fix Game 24: Eliminating Elysium
Paranoid King replied to Sart's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Quickly looking back over the thread, I couldn't find the plan. But if it involves the UIB saying who he's going to target, he won't be able to target elims, because they'll kill him. If it involves everyone else saying who they'll target, the elims can pick and choose who they want to kill, with no risk of being hit by cytonics. But again, I don't know what the exact plan was. Could you sum it up for me?- 433 replies

Ecth. Arinian. There's no reason whatsoever for people to vote on Ecth right now. Poke-votes are just to see if they're active. I'm not suspicious of Ecth at all, and seeing so many people attack her makes me really suspicious of them- 433 replies
