  1. Sir Edonar frowned. All his friends had powers. Why didn't he? Perhaps his own skills were enough. As he continued walking, he passed Asterion. You should kill him. "No," thought Edonar. "He works on my side. Killing him would be self-defeating" He rubbed his shoulder, but paused as his hand ran over something hard. A spike. "How long had that been there?" He shrugged. It wasn't causing him any problems at the moment. He'd just go to a resealer later and have it removed. He looked out the window of the Gardens of the Sun, at the headquarters of the Glory faction. You should kill them. "Yes. Yes, I should"
  2. And hey, why not make it so that the vaults can only be opened by something with the strength of a golem. At least one of the golems would need to be left alive, and then somehow made to obey orders from a different source.
  3. Curse these robbers. They didn't even have the decency to stealthily steal stuff. Kazaaak needed a new crew to get back at them. But where to find one? Asking around the camp, he discovered that there were two groups going onto the plains. But nobody knew who was in either. Most confusing. Choosing a group at random, he swore to follow their ideals and goals. He was sure that after a few days of seeing his effectiveness, they would unanimously elect him their leader. Yes, and then he would eradicate the other group. His plan made, he moved off to replenish his supply of spheres.
  4. Kazaaak eyed the man warily. If he carried enough of the strange currency this planet used, he might be a worthwhile target. He was certainly unstable enough that he might not even notice the robbery. On the other hand, Kazaaak's pouch was already bulging with the number of spheres he had already. Glowing spheres. What a poor choice for currency. If you stole too many, people would grow suspicious because your gloves were glowing. He resolved to visit a planet that dealt in solid gold next. Along with being easy to hide, it was useful almost anywhere.
  5. Here's the straight deal: With no people in factions, we can't control the vote because we don't know what people are voting for! And imagine that some group does convince us to vote for their side. Which person would you rather take out? A person with powers, who can bribe people to their faction, who is a member of a group that has enough people to, you know, lynch someone, and has special, game winning powers (rememberer? Teullu warrior?) Or someone from the group with no info about the vote, who can't bribe people over, who have no special powers, who aren't dedicated to taking a specific faction out, and don't have enough people or info to change the vote? I don't know about you guys, but it seems to me like if you are on a battlefield and have crippled two attackers, it is best to cripple the other one before finishing them all off. Otherwise you get stabbed in the back. To summarize, discovery can't do anything, they're not going to win anyway, and attacking it will expose you to stronger enemies.
  6. Oh yeah, I'm not dead. I *just may* have regenerative capabilities equal to Hoid's, allowing me to survive any one mortal wound. Also Glory, are you still going after Bort? Because if so, Discovery will be happy to back you up. EDIT: Also, as your resident DIscovery member, I'm ready to give out free info to anyone who wants it. Wanna know plans of other factions? People's "hidden" roles? I'm ready to give out some info! By the way, the info I give out in black text will be fake. Only trust info in white text. EDIT 2: Per cycle. Did I mention that that one wound healed is every cycle? If you want to kill me, you'd better hit me with everything you've got!
  7. You are right. They do get to influence one person to kill. Of course, all strikers get the entire say on one person to kill, along with influencing another person to kill. And you know what? no matter how much information discovery has, it is useless unless someone else votes for that person. A typical conversation in the discovery faction goes something like this: "gosh, we should kill Adamir. He's gonna find one of us pretty soon." "yeah, good luck getting another faction to vote for a diplomat" "Okay, let's vote for Bort instead. Heritage is voting for Bort." "Okay. That should work." And then Wyrm gets killed.
