  1. Bah. I forgot that you were inexperienced. You're right, an inexperienced player would act differently. I was going to clear you, because you expressed a firm belief that I'm guilty, but you're inexperienced so I can't read you. I'm less suspicious of you, though.
  2. Say, why aren't the university people voting on each other? If they did, a single skindancer might not end up the only one there. (Which would mean that they could destroy all the fields without any resistance.) Do votes not work or something? Is everyone there staying at the pony? You could still try to vote on them, right?
  3. Wowie! Looks like Steph was inoccent after all! We were wrong all along! Guess you can head to Imre again, huh? Because we aren't going to kill you. Go have fun over there! But not buying protection, huh? Because you don't need it now. Because we aren't buying assassins to attack you.
  4. What I'm saying is a villager mindset is "I don't know anything right now. I'll vote on whoever seems guilty" One of the things an elim has to think about is "Don't lead the lynch" When the day came, and I was obviously guilty, Elim!you hadn't planned for it, and defaulted to that basic mindset. A villager would say "PK is guilty. Let's vote on him" An elim would say something like "This seems too easy. Someone else can take the lead." You wondered about what happened for a while, let someone else vote first, asked a few questions, then voted on me. To me, that seems like an elim attitude.
  5. Believe me, if I was a member of the elim team, I wouldn't be drawing attention and then putting in a kill. Even if I wasn't blocked, I'd have been detected with Bronze. I could imagine me drawing attention while another elim put in the kill, but that's not what happened. My opinion doesn't count for anything because I'm the one accused, but I'm telling you, drawing attention and then trying to kill someone is a terrible idea. My guess is that the eliminators were merciful enough to not kill anyone the first night phase. That's not a very strong argument, so I'm probably going to be lynched. That's okay. My Bronze was all stolen anyways. I have a weak argument, so attempting to fight against this will just make me look more guilty. So just remember to do some discussion outside of bandwagoning. When I'm revealed, I think Lopen and the Flash might be guilty. I get the feeling that they didn't plan on me being detained. They didn't consider that I would be seen as guilty, so they didn't vote on me right away. Lopen can't have just been looking at the thread quickly and voting on someone random, and the way flash sorta-argued against my guilt and then gave in makes me think he's guilty. In this case, Orlok is innocent, because he was the first to vote for me, despite the obvious evidence condemning me. Honestly, I'm in 2 other games already, so I don't mind dying in this one. I think I'll give enough information in my death to be worth it. PK.
  6. Booken stood up, eyes thundering. "You don't care about spikes? You think they don't matter?" "Listen here! We may win the war against Venture, but it means nothing. Nothing! Unless we also win the war against the all-consuming omnipotent untouchable being of destruction who we can't attack directly or indirectly in any way and who can create new members far faster than we identify them." "Hmm. On second thought, I need any members I can get. Have some cookies. I left them in the pot to make sure they stayed warm." As president of the ASL, I'm gonna accuse Remart of being spiked. He's trying to sleep on his first night on duty, which shows that he's clearly a madman. *CLANG CLANG CLANG* The record has been noted. Remart, until you atone for your sins, you may not join the ASL To everyone who has not yet been accused: Join the Anti-Spike League. We have cookies. Technically. If you can still call them that. PS: I don't actually intend to go anywhere with this. I'm just keeping track of a (completely inaccurate) list of who's spiked for something to do during the night. Once everyone is either in the League or is accused, I'll freeze the list. Edit: Didn't notice you last page. You're in, Cluny.
  7. Nope. I think Steph is more likely to be evil, too, but I can't actually attack her. Because I'm expelled. I just tried to think of a random way to figure out who to attack without resorting to an impartial party, and thought of the dead/alive player values. I'd have preferred if it was Odd, but that's randomness for you.
  8. Scadrialian nii-iii-iiii-iiights, like scadrialian daaa-aaa-aaa-aays, I don't know all the words, scadrialian birds, would burst into flaaaaaaame! "Shut up! It's the middle of the night!" Dark was the night when the story began, on the walls near Kredik Shaw, 3-6 venture people slipped silently over the walls near Kredik Shaaw. But a trap had been laid for the figures, and the villagers had been alarmed! And they sought to entrap and to lynch and to slap them chains the chains of Kredik Shaaaw. I've got the energy of D1 without anything to spend it on. Oh yeah, we have actions. I knew that.
  9. Hi. I'm just waiting to go to Imre. I can't really do anything this cycle. I say we add up the numbers of the alive players. If it's odd, kill Steph, if it's even, kill brightness. Looks like it's even!
  10. Well, the obligators would win. But I guess people could do that? My current problem with the game is that in order for metals to become plentiful: Hoid needs to make 2 (different) metals (That aren't copper and tin). (Alternatively, randomly make a zinc and skip to step 7) Find a metallurgist Give him the metals The metallurgist combines them And hopes for some zinc or Lerasium If zinc, finds a zinc burner Gives them the metal Burn it targeting the Big Man After which the metallurgist has more supply with which to make lerasium I wanted to keep it at least a little bit canonical, so I didn't want people starting out with metals. But if they did, it would kinda skip that whole sequence, as long as enough people are willing to give metals to metallurgists.
  11. My corn dogs are pony-friendly, though. They're a vegan option. Can you say the same about your cake?
  12. Not sure if I'll be running this game, but after reading secret history, I had an idea and I wanted to write it out. If anyone else wants to take my idea and run with it, just send me a message. MR #: Mistborn: Secret Obligation WARNING: MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS FOR THE FIRST PART OF MISTBORN: SECRET HISTORY
  13. They're perfect! We need them for our organization RIGHT NOW! They symbolize our desire to stamp the flames of Ruin's influence out of society! And the twigs symbolize people in our guild, who may become corrupted themselves, but can be kept clean by the dirt of confession! And the flower petals? The copper clips? The ash? Um... I'm not sure why you put those in, but they symbolize... something. I'll figure it out later. Regardless, welcome to our guild!
  14. Hah! The Anti-spike legion does not accept FACTS! That would be completely crazy. Ruin can only control the confirmed, and we can confirm that the inquisitors are real. Which means they aren't real. Ignore Ruin's lies! Join the anti-spike legion!
  15. That's a great idea! Marv should bring the cookies. What's an inquisitor? Aha! You would reveal your comrades in order to escape justice? Well, a court wouldn't accept it, but I'll take it. You are hereby pronounced Spikeless Current list: Looking for members! If you are red (SPIKED), you may not join unless you reveal the names of two of your comrades. If you are revealed as a SPIKED after you join, you can stay anyways.
  16. Well, spike ≠ evil, but yes, I think so too. As such, I hereby found the anti-spike legion, sounded on superstition and unfounded beliefs. Our mission is to destroy all spikes by throwing them into an ashmount. By doing so, we will prevent the end of the world. Now, since ruin can change facts, we can't base our evidence off of fact. Therefore, Mehir clearly has a spike. Should he agree that he has a spike, we will know that the spike corrupted him and that he is lying. His name will be crossed off the list of spiked. I would like to add Jeff to the list of spiked, given that he included a space before the comma. This is a clear sign of a spike, as the comma has drawn the "words", or "mists", away from it. Therefore, spiked. I would add Barry as a spiked, given that he had a "?" followed by 2 "!", rather than writing a simple "!?!". He also is running around screaming, a clear sign of a spiked or soon-to-be-spiked. However, as he is one of the founders of the anti-spike legion, he has leniency as long as he gives us the names of 2 other spiked. Those two shall be sentenced to death unless they reveal 2 themselves. I'll close the meeting with the anti-spike motto. We don't like spikes Spikes are bad. We don't like spikes Throw them all into an ashmount. Thank you for joining us today.
  17. Alright. I wasn't on yesterday, so I'm responding to everyone who talked about me. Jedal: "The things rand has said so far doesn't point to him as either an elim or townie, so it wouldn't be wise for us to lynch him." Exactly. Right on. I don't think he's an elim, either. Bridge Boy: " I'll vote on Paranoid King. His quick vote on Rand still seems kinda suspicious" What? Whaat? Did you even...? what? wat. whut? Waht? Why? I NEVER VOTED ON RAND! Mint: "By PK's own logic, PK would be the most helpful in terms of obtaining information." Using my own logic against me? I love it! If I'm an elim... Brightness? Is probably innocent? And you get some leads on Randuir and Jon too. I'll take it! Jon: "I'm tempted to toss a vote onto PK, in retaliation for his vote on me (albeit retracted), and I'm resisting because it seemed well-intentioned, and has been thoroughly discussed." Now, you said earlier that you understood the logic behind my vote. If you're adding this to explain what you were secretly thinking at the time, I can understand it, as it seems like a reasonable thought to have. However, you seems to be explaining it as a new thought, which contradicts your attitude earlier. That seems strange to me. And is a good enough lead for me to follow. Jon. --- Moneybags had stayed up late last night, trying to *ahem* legally relieve ponies of their money. And illegally too but that part wasn't important. When he awoke this morning, it was still dark. But he could clearly hear the daily activities going on. The milkpony depositing the milk, the mailponies delivering the mail, the birds rehearsing in the trees. Something was wrong. Come to think of it, he'd heard rumors the night before. Something about the sun princess being gone. Changelings disguising as the populace. An epidemic of donkeypox. What a disaster. Well, it was time to do something about it. He pulled out his "special" kit, for just-in-case instances. "Sausage! Getcher sausages here! Inna bun! Guaranteed 100% edible! Perfect treat for the end of the world! Only 2 bits, and that's cutting me own..." He trailed off as he noticed a birthday announcement being put up. New plan. It would beat selling sausages to ponies, at least.
  18. So BR agreed with Randuir Jon agreed with randuir and thinks Randuir is not a changeling [At this point I voted on Jon] Jedal thinks I want to lynch someone D1, and Randuir's post didn't make him guilty BR says that Randuir's post doesn't make him guilty BR says I have more options than just Jon I guess I could switch if you wanted me to. BR gives me a stronger lead than Jon does...
  19. Moneybags had a headache. Banging your head against a tree tends to do that to you. These...ponies! Argh! He'd talked to a total of 2 by now, and both had left him banging his head in frustration. He needed something to help him calm down. Perhaps running a shell game would help him feel better. --- 1 hour later and 400 bits poorer, Moneybags reflected that perhaps it was a bad idea to try the shell game with a unicorn. --- Since there seems to be some confusion about people thinking I think Randuir is guilty, here are my thoughts, laid out clearly: About Jon: I do not suspect Randuir. If Jon is an elim, I will suspect Randuir. Nobody else has given me any leads Jon has given me a (slight) lead, if he is an elim. Therefore, Jon is the best person for me to vote on right now Jon is probably innocent. So is everyone else. But Jon gives me info if he is not innocent And nobody else does yet About Randuir: Randuir's first post does not prove his innocence It does not prove his guilt. It is simply a post of helpful strategy That makes people think highly of him. (Elims want people to think highly of them) Randuir has experience being an elim. He knows that if elims leave holes in their strategies, they'll get caught Therefore, he didn't leave holes in his strategy. This does not prove that he is an Elim. It just shows that he's not a proven villager Other people seem to think he's innocent. So I'm trying to show the problems with that line of thinking. TLDR: Jon gives me info if he's guilty. This does not mean that he's likely to be guilty. Randuir's helpful post does not prove his innocence. It's just a helpful post.
