  1. opened to Nalthis Edited to make sense. doh.
  2. I thought it was kind of up to us at this point. it looks like we're still standing there talking.
  3. , which was ajar
  4. behind the door.
  5. a Door, but
  6. Addressing Eero, I say, "My vote is that we find out how far away this location is first. We need to be there by midnight tomorrow, and if it is a hard day's ride, we should leave now so that we can set the location up to our advantage," I say, nodding toward Ambrosius since it was his idea in the first place. To both Eerongal and Ambro, I say, "We could also find out what sort of equipment we need, though if the location is far off we should head out immediately." I feel as if I'm repeating myself, so I clam up.
  7. We've got our own sub-forum, everybody!
  8. Eerongal? you alive?
  9. Should be all better. {url="
  10. Just a quick question, but what do all the different groups mean? I'm seeing things like "Ardents," "Returned," and "Worldbringers," and I know what all these mean in their respective books, but what do they mean on the forums?
  11. I guess that actually seems like a fair way to look at it. I think I can work with this guy. "Oh. Seems fair." "I wouldn't mind getting there early either, but what about Eerongal?" Turning to Eerongal, I say, "Would you be okay with meeting us at the location after you've made what preparations you see fit? We'll try to set up tactical positions to fall back to, if everything goes haywire."
  12. Oh good, he's relaxing. you can tell by the way his shoulders shifted. "Well, Ambrosius, where are we off to? According to Eerongal here, we've got about an hour." Something about his last comment finally makes its way into my mind. "Power of Kings? You mean Spheremounts?" I really hope he isn't just pulling my chain. If only Kings used Spheremounts in the Lost Age, that could explain why there are so few of them and why they're so hard to recreate.
  13. Sorry about that, life got kinda crazy for a while there. Figured out the code for img>url link. it's {url=" just replace all the {} with [] Edit: fixed the url code in the signature. issue we were having was that there were two "http://" bits at the beginning. removed one, and everything seems to work fine now.
  14. Taking Eerongal’s hand, I say “Jay’el H’ka. This whole killing people at a distance thing disturbs me. I think I’d like to come with you to meet this… benefactor. And new Formspheres always interest me.” Letting go of his hand, I turn to the cloth-wrapped Spheremorph, who seems not a little distrustful of me. “I hope you don’t mind. I think I’ll stick with you for a little while, since I’m already set to travel” You don’t want to trust me, ok. I’ll keep myself where you can watch until you do. “I just introduced myself to Eerongal here, as I’m sure you heard. What’s your name?” After introductions are complete, I shift back to baseline. hopefully I won’t need to shift for a bit. That is starting to get exhausting.
  15. sorry i haven't been posting as of late, life kinda got crazy busy. With any manner of luck, I'll have soemthing up by the end of the weekend. And now to sleep off the work-induced exhaustion. yay!
  16. so I'm not exactly sure where the story's going at the moment...
  17. Well that was easier than I expected.
  18. He
  19. Well that was quick. I don
  20. I can't really disagree with that assessment. in my head I saw rogue Leeches ruling towns in the wilds, Ripping power out of any who oppose them and being hunted down in civilized areas. Benevolent Leeches in civilized areas would function as healers of a sort, granting blind people sight temporarily or giving a restored youth to the elderly for a span. On a different note, I fleshed out a different Form. Check it. Iriscribe Source: Emeralis sparked it, I ran with it. Description: Has a large journal in which they describe the world around them, as well as multiple pencils, a pencil sharpener, and an eraser. Clothing: Bright colors and a way to carry pencils. Beyond that, cut and form of clothing varies between Spheremorphs. Abilities: An Iriscribe has a way with words, much like a Scribbler does with pictures. An Iriscriptor describes an object in his journal, fully and completely, and by adding a trigger word, which varies from Spheremorph to Spheremorph, to the end of the description can alter it. Everything about the object must be described in order for it to be altered
  21. I can almost guarantee that this Form is overly strong. Still, the idea is interesting. Leech Source: a twist on Feruchemy. What if it could be used on others as well as oneself? Description: Leeches are an alternate evolution of Chemists, and can take their attribute from anyone. Benevolent Leeches take from those willing to give and give out their attribute to those in need, but too many Leeches are indiscriminate in who they rip power from. Clothing: Leeches, like Chemists, gain some amount of metal in which to store their attribute. Other than that, they are very inconspicuous. Abilities: Leeches can only store one attribute, but they store other people
  22. Aw man, facing an enemy Scribbler on their own ground... Now I have to come up with some sort of counter. More Forms!
