  1. So I know this is a double post but no one will get a notification if I just edit. Unlike in night cycles we can't talk in PMs and we need to post in-thread and vote. Alvron, I would definitely like to hear more from you. I know that you are apparently going to get scanned soon but that won't make you more active or helpful. It's been four days since you posted in this game. You seem just to be floating by saying you couldn't be on the same eliminator team as Wilson. Maybe that is true but that doesn't explain your lack of activity. EDIT: Colour
  2. What does (Cri) mean Jain? So I know people like PMs and stuff but we still need thread conversation. This game is still in a way too early stage for people to be making decisions based solely on PMs and the little that people have posted so far. Now voting for one of these completely inactives won't really help so I would like to hear from Lopen. You've posted a few times and placed some votes but nothing has really been backed up too much. How does PMing inactives do anything for he contribution crusade? I know that maybe people get email notifications when they get a PM but they didn't really respond to the original role PM so why yours? I should also mention that the contribution crusade is usually a bit more of a scare tactic to get people involved instead of just a gentle nudge in the right direction EDIT Colour
  3. Thanks Soldier I wouldn't like to die out in the cold like that. If I didn't know any better than I would think spɹɐʍʞɔɐq ǝɥʇ ɐןʞoo was responsible for that last Rulo message. Who can really tell though? According to Ookla, we should be looking closer at me and Creccio. I feel as though Creccio is already being looked at quite closely and I will probably at least get questioned about the possibility of a WGG as is always the case Ookla save us! Also I just found out that if you click on a thread where it says the number of replies to the thread you can see exactly how many posts everybody made in the thread. Isn't that cool? I know lots of people here already knew that but I didn't till now and think it's cool EDIT: removed random space
  4. It's nice to have some of that info you have been gathering in the open Adavantos. 1) There were two Mistborn kills on one night right? (Or am I going insane?) That confirms that there are at least two mistborn around and with the few people who haven't claimed and the apparent lack of Elantrians I doubt there would be a third one hiding. 2) Does anyone know if Dow was the Surgebinder who posted the "Wilson did it" message? 3) Only one Elantrian seems low for a game with this many people. I guess with the Voidbringers around it shouldn't be surprising but I still am to hear it. 4) Your list has 33 roles but only 32 players are in the game. Is the mistake in forgetting to remove an unclaimed when you added the Living Traitor Unclaimed Biochromancer? 5) There is more likely than not a surgebinder on the traitors team
  5. Have you looked at the result of the lynches arranae? Loyal players kill loyal players all the time. With a Mistborn it is often more likely that they kill loyal players since it is only one persons opinion and not something that is discussed and argued by everyone in the thread. EDIT: Added quote and ninja'd by Ada EDIT to avoid another post in a row. The problem we have now Ada is that since the Traitors have a Biochromancer they can just role-block the Kandra every night if the HI turns and tells them who it is. I say we don't kill either of the claimed Hemallurgists until they have been scanned. If they learn the identity of the Kandra then the Kandra become useless.
  6. How are you so sure that there is a cultist soldier? There are other possibilities and unless you have some inside information about this there is no way to be sure. This whole post seems just like you are trying to make people scared to share their suspicions. Even if there is a cultist soldier we can't let that stop us from discussing, accusing and defending people in the thread. Sure I can see us not needing to post our votes on the main thread but we still need to discuss who we want to lynch here. Without that it won't matter if the cultists are all soldiers cause we can't catch them without talking about it. I'm going to be putting my vote on hellscythe now by the way.
  7. We can counteract the soldier slightly if we actually do our votes in secret and then they don't know who to protect. The other option is to get the priest to check anyone saved from the lynch by the soldier and then we can lynch them twice. It isn't ideal but if we get multiple soldiers of our own then it isn't that overpowered. Maill also could have just changed the rules so that we wouldn't completely discount the fact that a soldier could be evil so that anyone proven a soldier isn't also proven town.
  8. I was referring to your vote for no-one to die and I didn't know how that occurred at the time. Now that we have a better understanding of how the no-death votes came about it makes more sense. A question for those who did send in a vote for no-one: Why did you send in a vote at all? I'm just curious because if I were going to vote for no-one I wouldn't have sent anything in to Maill regarding a vote. EDIT: Also now that soldiers can't protect the same person every night we will have to consider the possibility that the cultists do have a soldier. Potentially this rule was changed since the Cultists do have a soldier and Maill didn't think about how they could guarantee a cultist victory with it.
  9. Yeah but there really isn't any need for code at this point in the game when PMs are still present. The only things I see is to prove to someone else your role, a code only you can decode to prove to everyone later that you are the Rulo or i guess a cultist trying to get us to discuss something useless.
  10. I am also quite confused about how this came to be. If I was planning on not voting I wouldn't have sent anything to Maill. Also I think the Rulo was most likely just testing the powers to see how it would show up in the write-up and/or something to prove a claimed role. I will be putting my vote back on Jain. You posted about the how beneficial day one lynches are and said a vote was forhtcoming. Not only did you not put in a vote but you specified (not exactly sure how yet) that you didn't want anyone to die. Why the change? EDIT: Colour
  11. Panda, I noticed your argument for a day one lynch and that you were going to be placing a poke vote. Is that still upcoming? Everyone's reads are wishy-washy this early in the game. I can guarantee Maill won't count your vote if it isn't PMd in. That isn't a maybe, a vote in thread counts for nothing in this game except for some cool colours.
