  1. Another tidbit that makes me agree with the OP is that the visions related to the warm light Dalinar experienced weren't given by the Stormfather (he didn't know about this visions and told Dalinar so).
  2. I read the WoB on Reddit.. WOOOOW! So for my doubts on Hoid Really unbelievable <3 can't wait for RoW in a few days *_*
  3. There's really a WoB on this? Sadly I can't follow all this matter! T_T And if this is the case:
  4. Spoiler for Dawnshard:
  5. Maybe spoilers ahead:
  6. Cultivation made "a pruning" to Lift in the same way she did to Dalinar: she can see part of the future and she's the God for growing so Lift is growing up now, because she needs to resolve her "demons" to help win the battle vs Odium. Don't remember the exact words of Wyndle when we were introduced to them, but he knows she's a child of Cultivation, so there's not only the boon/curse of the Nightwatcher (and I suspect Cultivation was more involved) but something extra Alas, I don't know all the WoB and I can't recite the books on memory.. so sorry if I'm mistaken.
  7. I thought the Stormfather as he is "today", the Sliver of Honor, was because Honor splintered. He existed before Honor but was no sentient being, imo. ...as for the Seons on Sel (even if they're not Slivers).
  8. Nine Unmade and a champion give ten...
  9. Yeah I read the quote multiple times and applying a bit of grammar structure I finally got it! I think it can happen even in our own language, thank you!
  10. English is not my mother tongue and I'm not sure I understand what you wrote but the WoB you mention also said "there are [...] a much bigger deal than [..] and that's what Cusicesh [the Protector] is".
  11. Yes, it's said in the above posts, my fault. However: The Aviars may be rare at this point but
  12. Thanks for your reply but please calm yourself
  13. What gives me thought is the phrase Odium used, as if Fortune is a spren or something similar to the Nightwatcher (but I've found another thread using the search thanks!).
  14. If it's so, could also be that Fortune is an entity of the Cognitive and Spiritual Realm... As much as the Nightwatcher...
  15. No one noticed Odium said to Mr. T. that the last knows the future without even having gone to Fortune? Is Fortune another shard on the Rosharan system?
  16. Weren't the Aviar breeded and taken to the homeland? In Shinovar there are parrots or "our" chickens Edit: I believe chickens in Shinovar, from the Interlude of the Thaylen apprentice and I remember something about something similar to a green parrot when Shallan goes to the menagerie in the warcamps with Adolin and Kaladin as their bodyguard.
  17. He expressly said so, but I can't write the quote now, sorry
  18. I think people from Yoden (humanoid and/or not) killed Adonalsium and parted the resulting Shards among them. Hoid is trying to interfere in the fight against Rayse.. And he's accumulating bits of Investiture from all the planets, then all the Shards, to "have a say" in the matter and... maybe trying to re-compose Adonalsium. For all the greed he displays, he made an oath to be where there's need for help (only for the Stormlight Archive, think about what he's done for Dalinar - he first mentioned Adonalsium to him, Kaladin, Shallan etc). So... I don't think he wants all this power for himself, and the Invested bits work differently on another planet, under another type of Investiture.
  19. From the Coppermind we know that the Stormfather existed before the shattering of Adonalsium. Then Tanavast came to Roshar and [...] Rayse killed him, splintering Honor. As per Dalinar words in Oathbringer, now Dalinar is something different: Unity, made of Dalinar body and will (his part of Intent?), the Sliver of Honor (the Stormfather) he's still bonding to (soul), and part of the "mind" of the previous full Shard (the other part of Intent, Honor).
  20. I think Hoid's real goal is to fight Rayse over the splintering of Adonalsium. He's collecting Investiture all around the cosmere to be some kind of Adonalsium: he has a little bit of power of every Shard.
  21. My two cents: what if Ambition from the Threnodite system was the shard killed on Ashyn where were humans (that fled to Roshar)?
  22. Thank you @Pattern can't wait can't wait
  23. Aehm... Sorry, but.... Wasn't it Szeth who had the windrunner honorblade, then taken by Kaladin after their duel? ...and the honorblade granted the power of its order to the owner (without a Nahel bond). I haven't already read OB and I'm reading these sections wanting SPOILERS
  24. So.. you've found another KR.. you see? Ps: hi to all, I'll move to the presentation section.. so please excuse me if I didn't already read all other theories
