  1. I'm retracting my vote on Meta. As I realize that I'm very suspicious and I think a tie would only continue suspicions on both myself and Winter (who I think just might be good. Course, I might be biased because she took her vote off from me.), if it looks like there's going to be a tie at 9:45, I'll be voting for myself in the interests of avoiding further time and votes wasted on lynching me.
  2. Funny, that. Isn't that what's happening with poke votes? There is no solid evidence for lynching anyone. Everything that we know right now, or suspect right now, is based on what other people have said. I'll admit my reasoning is a bit weak (okay, fine--incredibly weak) but I figured it's better to put thoughts out in the open and see what happens than to keep them secret. If people react strangely, or suspiciously, then it would have been a good move. If not, at least I tried. I found Meta to be derisive of my reasoning, which I can understand. But Meta has always come across to me as level-headed and considerate. There was definitely an amount of sarcasm in Meta's post that I didn't think was very characteristic. Of course, I might be overanalyzing this. And if so, I'll apologize in advance to Meta. I honestly didn't think that my post was such a terrible idea to merit...this. (I do realize this was a joke, but was I the only one who took a second look at Joe's "don't trust meta" tag?)
  3. Well, I'll vote for Meta. Meta would be a dangerous foe as an eliminator, since he's had experience running the game. He probably knows very well now how eliminators stay out of suspicion. Even if he's innocent, I feel that Meta still has a lot of influence and that could end up being extremely bad if Meta trusted the wrong person. I wouldn't want a repeat of what happened last game, where the extremely influential Wilson fully trusted an eliminator. And for what it's worth, I trust Aonar.
  4. I'm joining! Scree is a dignified collector of shiny objects. Like the ring on that portly gentleman's finger, for instance. Or the golden tapestries that- ahem- used to hang in the market square. Scree likes to brag about her accomplishments- The Mysterious Doorknob Disappearance was her doing, she can unlock (most) locks (as long as she has the keys to match), and she's never died even once, which is more than can be said for the pile of corpses in that dark alleyway.
  5. This may be another of my brilliantly "bad" ideas, but I'm going to post my top suspicion right now. It shouldn't affect who gets killed by the Spiked, because I'm fairly certain he was in league with Riew at one point and therefore is Spiked. I want to get my ideas out in the open in case I die. Unodus's vote not being counted is a fairly recent development, and it's possible that the Spiked are trying to throw us off with this move. Or they really could have just revealed one of their own. Doubtful, but possible. But I think it's much more likely that dowanx is Spiked, so I'm preemptively voting again... dowanx. I'd appreciate it if all Villagers could all pile our votes on him tomorrow to ensure a lynch like we did last cycle.
  6. Well, I don't think there's much else for it but to try and do what I suggested in the last Night Cycle. If anyone has any other ideas or objections, post it or PM me. Or both. Riew.
  7. And there it is again. Responses were spaced out this time, perhaps, but this bothers me. This feels staged. I'm sorry, but I'm not inclined to believe in coincidences. Perhaps I'm grasping at straws, but straws are all we have now. I'd like all active Villagers to vote for and lynch Weiry tomorrow. I say this now because I might be dead tomorrow and what I say now will almost certainly kill me. I am the Village Soother who was Seeked by Aralis. I Soothed Riew yesterday, and received a confirmation that my Soothing was indeed recorded. Yet Riew's vote didn't change at all. Riew had been Smoked. And I have it on good authority that Newan's coppercloud was off last night. I trust Newan that he is a Village Smoker as he says. Three innocent Village Smokers accounted for. So Riew was Smoked last night, and Newan didn't smoke him. There is a fourth Smoker. And according to probability, the fourth Smoker is likely Spiked. Riew may either be the Spiked Smoker, or have been protected by this Smoker. Either way, I find that Riew is the likeliest Spiked right now. Please lynch Riew. Make a bandwagon. Blame me if that's what it takes. I want inevitability. I want to put something in motion that the Spiked will have no way of stopping or influencing even if they know exactly what our plans are. So I'm going to preemptively vote: Riew. I hope you can and will do the same.
  8. Well, Newan's convinced me. And if he truly is the Village Smoker he claims to be and Peng is also the Villager that I believe he is, then we're incredibly lucky that Pifferdoo's vote didn't go through and that this was a tie. I'm amending my first statement of the cycle: This could be good. As good as a game can be with zero Spiked deaths by the sixth cycle, at least. Which isn't very good, but still.
  9. Newan, Weiry, dowanx. We put people we suspect are Spiked in bold, right? Yes, Newan, I bandwagoned. I was looking for a person with more votes on them to suspect, because I did not want to deal with voting manipulation. But other suspicions cropped up as a result of my unexplained vote, so I'm calling it justified in a "the end justifies the means" kind of way. I believe that Weiry and dowanx are Spiked as well. Weiry posted a vote for Peng at 4:28, and dowanx did the same just two minutes later, at 4:30. Coincidence, perhaps. But if they were Spiked, it would make sense. They could be talking to each other in their Spiked group, and taking action based on what they said, as soon as they decided on a course of action. And Newan being Spiked makes even more sense. Weiry's and dowanx's votes would not only implicate Peng, whom I believe to be innocent, but they would also spare one of their own Spiked (Newan) from being lynched. From what I've gathered, this is the first Sanderson Elimination game both Weiry and dowanx have been involved in. This mistake of theirs makes sense, especially since they're new players. Of course, you might think that there's just no way that the Spiked would even accidentally implicate themselves in this way. However, my judgement is that the Spiked have a HUGE lead right now. If you need proof that the Spiked are in the lead, take a look at the player list. I believe the Spiked are more likely to make slip-ups based on overconfidence. I'm reiterating my vote. Newan.
  10. ...Sorry for suspecting you so much, Ostrich. Rest in peace. Losing the Mistborn is bad. Unless we have another one somewhere, which I doubt. It looks like a Tineye listed some people--suspects? I'm going to assume that the Tineye is in league with the Coinshot, because of the mention that "dead men tell no tales." Since any Coinshot is likely a Villager since the Spiked probably would have been using their coinshot EVERY night if they had one, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that I believe this Tineye is a Villager too, and should therefore be accorded some measure of trust. This list of people is probably a good place as any to start, then. Wyrm. I find all the vote manipulation last cycle suspicious, especially the mainpulations that didn't seem to do so much... I remember that your vote got Soothed, to apparently zero overall effect. I feel like this could be a Spiked strategy- to make it seem like their own people are victims.
  11. I vote for Ostrich (for the third time). Third time's the charm, right? I'll admit that I really do want to see him lynched. I feel like he just hasn't given satisfactory reasons for some of his actions. On Day 2, I retracted my vote for Ostrich because Ash said that Eliminators don't kill a player just because that player suspected one of their own. Ash's words: "@ spiked killing Kas b/c he was suspicious of ostrich: No. No and no. That's exactly what eliminators don't do. Public suspicions of spiked don't lead to killings like that. It puts too much suspicion on those listed." (I should probably figure out how to quote things.) I thought about that. My conclusion is that we can't assume everyone on the dead people's suspect lists are innocent, either. If we are so willing and set in our ways to assign innocence to dead people's suspects, maybe the spiked found that a good strategy--killing players who suspected their own.
  12. Well, for now I'll retract my vote against Ostrich (I'm not sure how to go back to old posts and edit for color). Ash made good sense. I'll refrain from voting this cycle, and see how things turn out before I make any further, possibly misguided, decisions.
