  1. Many of us have known about the Kelsier behind the scenes stuff for years, really (WoB confirmation, plus, you know, he has like three actual lines in HoA), and are just glad to find out what it is he was actually doing.
  2. On that note (sorry for tangent), I find it interesting that TLR isn't described as old in the Cognitive realm. Kelsier recognized the guy same as always. Perhaps that is how he perceived himself (unaging) and that is why his feruchemical gold healing doesn't return him to his super old state probably described by his spiritual aspect? Self perception influences healing.
  3. Well at least one dictionary wants to disagree . . . though it's an iffy dictionary I'll admit. http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/dominion Otherwise we have "absolute ownership" which is still derived from an action, synonym or no. http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/dominion
  4. I'm ready to facepalm now, because being a synonym to the second noun form of an action it is already the noun form of makes it pretty clearly an action.
  5. I'm pretty sure he's just seeing the Sovereign's hands there.
  6. Not unusual for people to not hold themselves responsible for despicable things if they feel they were acting under orders from another. In fact people actually tend to do that even if they would never dream of it on their own. Harmony in all likelihood would probably have found that moment as a rather convenient moment for Paalm to get shot and have Wax leave, but he supposedly didn't physically take over her, or so he claims. So he also claims, Paalm passed on to the beyond actually asking Harmony to take care of Wax on the way out, so it would seem if Harmony is honest (no proof to the contrary) she actually doesn't really mind nearly as much as she seemed when she was driven mad. She was also much more coherent while short a spike than ReLuur was, so . . . I don't really trust that spike of hers.

    Time Warp?

The issue being that extreme gravity/velocity naturally causes time dilation and would cause aging shifts matching the person's reference frame instead of just letting spiritual age march onward. If temporal allomancy does directly disrupt the flow of time then aging should match the person's perspective and not the external perspective.
  8. Well, considering their nature as scavengers it's not inconceivable that they die often from starvation . . . Turning Wayne into a mistwraith would probably still need Harmony to work, really, which is pretty overkill. And then we'll need to murder some people . . .
  9. At which point we're just arguing synonymous noun forms, which doesn't change much of anything.
  10. You said constantly though. Burning a lot and storing it is how it generally works, but savantism requires a nonstop flare, which is wholly redundant for a feruchemist. He only needs gold to restore his charges, he doesn't need to flare it for extended periods. He'd stop at a suitably absurd number and just tap for a while. I'm just picking at your original phrasing is all. He would not burn compounded gold constantly. No lawman has enough cash to flare gold for presumably decades.
  11. Well, it's hard for the Church to not get those facts about him surviving correct. As per Marasi being exasperated that MeLaan doesn't know doctrine in SoS, Sazed apparently wrote it into the Words of Founding.
  12. They also have to all be nouns though, which Dominion is and Dominate wouldn't be.
  13. I think Kel only really lost because Hoid knows how things work and could simply think he wouldn't feel pain. So yeah, noob at being a ghost.
  14. It becomes odd then, that lerasium by default grants a power that is useless without cracks. Intents are strange . . .
  15. I'd bring up the obvious issue of debate right now then. What's your definition of vulgar in the first place?
  16. I don't believe anyone just burns metalminds constantly . . . what a waste of attribute.
  17. Why would normal mistwraiths have a reduced lifespan when kandra are immortal?
  18. Well, sure, nothing contradicts you, but nothing really helps prove your point either other than extrapolations from his incongruous personality. He also hasn't been caught lying yet. Accusing someone without evidence is a bit much.
  19. I'd say starting a discussion about aiming for something's balls a lot at a wedding reception is pretty crude humor.

    Spook lives

Marasi's copy was one Wax had replicated from his own, right?
  21. We could still just refer to the thousand years as a whole as either the Final Empire or the World of Ash.
  22. Well, giving them the power should be easy. Having it function as a Blessing like it did for Paalm and return some measure of sapience might be a bit trickier.
  23. It's just a duraluminmind.
  24. Well the other shards weren't very creative, so that wasn't exactly an independent event anymore . . .

    Hoid

Well, most magic systems have absolutely nothing to do with one's spiritual composition anyway. Some with everything to do with Connection to one's birthplace or the shard in question.
