  1. Didn't Conq break the tie? Zas didn't actually need to vote for Aman to lynch him but he did anyway. So, I could easily see that as a bandwagon. EDIT: Ugh, this is what happens when I try and do everything from memory. I got confused between Zas and Conq. Sorry about that. Conq, why did you bandwagon? Was it needed? The tie would have killed you, and then Zas broke the tie in your favour. (BTW, sorry Zas.) EDIT II: Fixing up obscure wording.
  2. I didn't get around to sending my item (I thought I'd be on before rollover), nor did I receive one. Master Elodin: Xailen Dava TheOnlyJoe: Joseph C1 (claimed no item) I phattemer: ExisaCrewmember Mailliw: Ialim C1 (claimed no item) Cloudjumper: Lark C1 (claimed no item) Conquestor: Lorien winter devotion: Kae and Cleo I TheMarvelousLopen: Lopen C1 (assuming winter confirms) I Elbereth: Crepuscula C1 Sart: Sam Trudite Mckeedee123: Mekel Moss TheYoungBard: Yon C1 (missed rollover) I Zas678: Zas C1 (claimed no item) Deathclutch19: Sir Ulrich von Liechtenstein I Bugsy6912: Beckett C1 (assuming DC confirms) TheSilverDragon: Peter Amanuensis: InnocentMutineer Key: C1 = passed an item, couldn't have committed the kill C1 = didn't pass an item, could have committed the kill I = Has an item this current cycle Anyone in future turns who is confirmed to have an item the previous turn but didn't pass it will be bolded. Currently, that's me. Can anyone else who passed or recieved an item speak up, please? Even if you didn't, that still helps fill in the chart. Remember, being cleared one night doesn't necessarily make you not an eliminator. It just means that you didn't perform the kill that night. However, tonight, we know for certain that at least some players have items, and have no reason not to pass them on, which will be more telling. Anyway, I can confirm I will be passing tonight. I sent my orders in now.
  3. Oh... I thought rollover was a couple hours late. Sorry. I only just woke up. Personally, I'm suspicious of Zas at this point. He bandwagoned on to Aman at the last minute, perhaps as an attempt to soft-clear himself? He says it was to gain information, even though Aman has been completely inactive since the game began. So, Zas, I'd like to hear from you about that.
  4. So does that mean that people with rusty knives are expected to pass them instead of using them? I'll follow along with the plan if everyone else does, but it requires basically everyone following through.
  5. Actually, I was saying one of you were lying. I don't think there are 3 Dreamwalkers in the game. The alignment of the Dreamwalkers is actually irrelevant if they're not a Dreamwalker to begin with. And, you both chose the one thing that makes you both valuable to the villagers, and impossible to verify. That's awfully convenient in my mind. And yes, I could accept you voting on Sart to avoid suspicion. You're one of the oldest, most experienced players here, and you could definetely pull off voting for a team member to soft clear yourself. (And by the way, you and Seonid are the only 2 people who considered me suspicious after I explained myself, IIRC. You're really beating the dead horse there.) You being the Darkfriend hit was one of about a dozen possible circumstances which could have stopped the kill, and only if we accept you being a Dreamwalker. And not claiming credit for blocking a role because of a counter-defence you hadn't invented yourself having yet would be quite easy. And your arguments don't even cover the idea of Elodin not being a Darkfriend. You can't just give reasons to say why you aren't a Darkfriend and say they apply to both of you, because they don't. Like I said. I think either you or Elodin is lying about being a Dreamwalker in the first place. I was placing even odds, but you misinterpreting what I said, which no-one else did, makes you slightly more suspicious in my eyes. Still, I'd like to see what happens in the PM's this night turn and in the write-up tomorrow before I decide on anything.
  6. Nothing too surprising here. Personally, I think it's even odds that Meta or Elodin is lying. I have a vague idea to work it out, but it requires a specific role to work. I'll get in touch with some contacts.
  7. Sign me up to run an LG, please. Running a game sounds like fun.
  8. It's a poke vote. I'm unlikely to hold to that vote once Conq says something, and I'm assuming Lopen couldn't be bothered searching through for other online inactives to take his vote off me just yet. I'm assuming Joe wants an explanation because he wants to hear your view, which is why he voted for you. EDIT: I forgot Joe shifted his voted to you.
  9. Ugh. I did this in a PM already. I didn't realize I was doing it in the main thread as well. This, apparently, is what happens when I do two SE games at once.
  10. Ripple, if the shades target someone who didn't make a kill, are we told that they were targeted? That might help us, particularly when we've already got 2/3 Eliminators down. We can track who didn't make a kill on a given night, which could help us a lot when we're down to 1/2 eliminators. That's all I've got, really. EDIT: Changed Darkfriends to Eliminators.
  11. And this is while you're online and keeping up with everything. Now imagine how much you'll fall behind on when you go to sleep, until you wake up in the morning. ... I've come to a realization. I'm mean. I am very, very mean.
  12. I'm trying to work out how many PM's Ripple's become a part of in the last hour. More than a dozen, at least. Ripple, I feel slightly sorry for you. (But not sorry enough to stop making PM's. Sorry.)
  13. Well, it's possibly a lead as to a "changing appearance of role/alignment in write-up" secret role that I mentioned earlier, at the very least. Also, in the meta, it tells me how likely people are to tell the truth / lie in a situation like this, which Elodin did, and I'm sure someone else did, but I can't remember at the moment.
  14. Well, Gunshy was basically a ginormous bandwagon too, but that was one that was to our advantage. EDIT: Are you roleclaiming? You're running on borrowed time here, so I'd type fast.
  15. Thanks! That... would have been embarrassing. I already retracted that vote anyway, so all's good. EDIT: And Phatt, I voted on you too. So at this stage, you're still going to die... This is going to look really guilty of us if phatt is some super important role now.
  16. Elbereth, if you don't want to die, then voting would probably be a good idea right now. I mean, whoever you vote for would have as many votes as you, and one more makes it a lynch. EDIT: The ninja's. The ninja's are here. EDIT II: To prevent funny business with Joe and the Ta'veren, Phatt. He's already dead - I'm just making sure the nail in the coffin. (Sorry phatt - I trust Elbereth more.)
  17. Yeah. I'd forgotten DC was a Dreamwalker. 3 is definitely too many. Not that I'm for last minute lynches, but we have even odds of catching a Darkfriend if we lynch Meta or Elodin. What do you think? Lopen
  18. Joe, I hadn't heard of this 'pinch-hitter' idea before. I guess I'll take my vote back. I doubt Gamma put 2 dreamwalkers in the game, which means that either Meta or Elodin is lying. Awfully convenient they're both untargetable to scanning. While I see it as even odds on being Meta, that's a lot more likely than Elbereth, who I have quite a strong village read on. If it didn't tie the vote right now, I'd probably vote for Meta. EDIT: Vote Tally (more to clear my head than anything else): Meta (1): Lopen Lopen (2): Meta, Bard Elbereth (2): Seonid, jaimie Mayor tally is basically Elbereth by now. Lopen, I voted on you because I know you're online and are able to defend yourself, and because I've found you slightly more hedgy since Day 1. (I didn't voice it in thread since... D1, but El can confirm that I still had that opinion slightly N2 in a PM.) If it's 5 minutes before rollover, and there's still a lynch tie, I'll take my vote off to ensure a lynch, but otherwise I'd like to here from you. Also, only 5 people have got a vote on? Seriously? For what is apparently one of the most active games, that's ridiculous. EDIT II: If you're wondering why I didn't vote for Meta, like I said I might, it's because I'm trying to find a way of determining who is the real dreamwalker without lynching them, and because Meta's offline right now.
  19. All right. I was trying to work out whether or not to do this, but Joe. (I mean, I've got to spice up your life before the trip somehow, don't I?) The reason I didn't want to is because it's almost entirely meta-reasoning. The thing is, I don't think Nyali's role, even if it's a Ta'veren role, is important enough to warrant them being replaced with someone else. Nyali's departure would just have made her an inactive player, and would probably have been lynched by a Wolfbrother a few days down the track anyway, putting an end to that saga. It didn't really seem necessary to instate another player in her place. However, if we've successfully killed of 2 darkfriends two lynches in a row, and a third leaves after a misunderstanding, leaving only one or maybe 2 darkfriends left - I could see Gamma getting worried. I could see him replacing the role instead of simply killing them or leaving them inactive. So, he appoints Joe. In addition, I'm not sure how much is put in retrospectively, but the LG21 spec doc seemed to have a lot of game information that a player shouldn't have, such as access to view the Eliminator Doc. However, if someone is stepping in as an eliminator, then that's less of a problem - they know less information they shouldn't at that point in time. Just so I can give a non-meta reason for my vote as well, I'll point out that Nyali seemed to tunnel on me quite a bit. Her only grounds for suspicion - I think her one and only argument on me (besides gut reads, which are hard to quantify), was to say that whatever I did, which may or may not have been a Darkfriend kill, was redirected on to Elodin, who was probably detained, if he wasn't lying to try and shift some votes off him, and that was why there wasn't a Darkfriend kill. Which is really quite flimsy reasoning if you think about it, particularly since part of her logic actually references another person that also would have been blocked by a Darkfriend kill, and ignoring all other possible reasons, in-game and meta, that could have led to that result. (If you want to accuse me of tunneling Nyali because she accused me, I nearly soft cleared her in my head. It was only when Joe replaced her that I grew suspicious.) I'm going to sleep now. I'll be on again for rollover. (yay for weekend rollovers!)
