  1. My all time favorite would have to be Mistborn: the Final Empire. The others, of course, were amazing as well as all of his other books, but something about Mistborn just gets me so excited to read it every singe time. I truly care for all of the characters and find each one of their journeys really inspiring. The ending, of course, broke my heart, but I've honestly never felt so much emotion over a book before, and that's really the best part, whether or not that emotion is happy or sad.

  2. I don't really know, but I feel like there'd be more in a broam's worth of chips. I'll try to explain.

So we know that cut gems hold more stormlight for longer than uncut gems. From the two seconds of research I did, I think one factor might be surface area. I'm assuming cut gems would have more surface area than uncut ones, and if that's completely wrong, ignore the rest of this post.

Anyway, I think it's also safe to assume that a broam's worth of chips have more surface area than the broam itself, and if we say the amount of stormlight a gem can hold is directly related to the surface area of the gem, then we could conclude that  a broam's worth of chips would hold more stormlight than a broam due to the difference in surface area, or at least hold the same amount of stormlight longer.

(I did next to zero research on this, so please tell me if I totally messed something up)

  3. My personal theory on the God Beyond is that it really is Brandon. I bet there's just going to be a few vague references here and there, but it won't really end up being anything plot related. It think the idea is that Shards, by some definitions, aren't technically gods. They didn't really create humans or the Cosmere, and I (personally) don't think Adonalsium did either. Since Brandon "created" the Cosmere, I think that would make him the God Beyond within the Cosmere.

Just my thoughts, no facts whatsoever, so don't use any of this in some sort of argument. It's just my personal theory.

Edit: Okay, technically, Ruin and Preservation did create humans on Scadrial, but my point about the creation of the Cosmere itself still stands.

  4. I imagine if you combined Honor and Odium you might get something along the lines of Revenge.

And I imagine you could alter Preservation in a way that instead it becomes Survival. A dash of Ruin, perhaps, rather than mixing in the entire shard?

Now it sounds like I'm coming up with shard recipes...

Edit: I just realized I stole Moogle's idea when it comes to combining Honor and Odium. It wasn't on purpose I promise.

  5. If I totally ignore orders and just pick two surges, I would definitely pick Gravitation and Abrasion. Flying (more like falling with style) would be awesome as well as sliding around everywhere, as if it were always hardwood floors while wearing socks.

If I had to pick an order though, probably Releaser, but we're not sure what their other surge is yet. So I guess Windrunner would be my other choice if I decide I don't like the Releaser surge.
