  1. It's beautiful, how much do I have to bribe you to get one for myself?
  2. Most Shardblades seem to have a single sharp edge, but Szeth's is double-edged. Also I like the idea of a Shard-naginata for Kaladin.
  3. I'd give most of the Red Ajah a boot to the head. I'd give the Brown Ajah the writings of Brian Green (the Elegant Universe and his other books, I think he's got three now). I'd give the Green Ajah Army At Dawn (it's a book about WW2).
  4. memory storage works rather differently then other feruchemy.
  5. they are available on Inkwing.com.
  6. nah he told Elohkar that he would give away his Plate.
  7. also possibly the Tears, if those are indeed the solid form of Endowment's power.
  8. Brandon actually hinted at a recent signing that Kelsier is *still* refusing to "move on" and is still hanging around meddling. Somehow. Guy just doesn't quit.
  9. I don't like it either, Also Brandon has said that he doesn't much like it, and is writing TSA in part to invert that trope.
  10. actually Shardblades are much lighter then they ought to be, but they are still awkward to use without Plate due to sheer size apparently, but Szeth can use Stormlight directly so.....
  11. I don't really see those things as necessarily "evil", not the purview of your traditional "Knight in Shining Armour" hero, certainly, but not necessarily outright evil. Hoid may be something of an anti-hero, a hero that sometimes veers into the murky gray area between pure heroism and villainousness, Brandon does that kind of thing a lot.
  12. I seem to recall that Kwaan wasn't' transformed into a mistwraith with the other feruchemists and ended up being hunted down and killed instead.
  13. or a Tineye, remember Vin's first accident with Duraluminum? Have an ally fire off a bullet, or set off a stick of dynamite at juuust the right moment and you could reduce the sucker to sobbing pathetically in a corner.
  14. Brandon has confirmed that Hoid was present at the Shattering of Adonalsium.
  15. actually Brandon implied in the annotations that there was something specific Hoid did to scare her off, and that she was "too observant for her own good".
  16. atium can steal any power, but you presumably still need to hit the proper bind point on the recipient for the spike to function. also, I suspect that alloying a spike after the fact would destroy the charge.
  17. note that you don't just have to hit *a* bind point, you have to hit a *valid* bind point for the spike you are using, which would be difficult on a moving, unwilling target, thus the need for extra guidance.
  18. cause in that case he didn't care about the leakage, the point was just to get a spike in Penrod to give Ruin the ability to influence him, not to give him a power.

    Chemical Aon Aon

it's darn good considering how it was done!
  20. how about "Dungspren"?
  21. then nobody would ever ever see the clever titles you thought up for the higher ranks!
  22. Brandon admits in the RPG that he *has* broken physics with some aspects of allomancy and/or feruchemy so.....
  23. well we knew the visions were a sort of recorded message because Honor himself said as much, the issue is when they were recorded, I'm going to guess after the Recreance but quite a while before the book properly starts.
  24. I'm going to start a re-read soon. Since it's been ages since I read them all through.
