  1. Well who am I to contest such irrefutable evidence...
  2. Dangit. I genuinely want to roleplay this, but I'm on my phone since my laptop has no internet access currently. My patience wears thin with my phone and long posts. Which this would need to be. Perhaps I will rp later, if I ger access. For now, I'm getting my vote out there. Jeo. Why? I've suspected him since day one. He talked up killing an inactive Hallandren and then the second a vote was cast for an active Hallandren, he jumped on board. Sure, no one was lynched. That's still suspicious. Couple that withis rabble-rousing of late, and I'm pretty surr he's someone actively working against us. Whether he's Pahn Kahl or not (I think he likely is), we don't need that when it's so crucial we work together. The chef needs to go. Even if Wil'son likes his food.
  3. Um. Wow. This escalated a lot more than I thought it would. When I called Swimim out, I was more just wanting an explanation for his actions. Not genuinely wanting to kill him. Especially not since Summon mentioned that he knew Swimim was lying. I know Swim was on this morning, but that was before I called him out. And I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't get on before the end of the day. Because of this, I'm retracting my vote for Swimim and voting for no one at the current moment in time.
  4. So. The chatroom. Hilarity ensues in the spoiler tag. I suggest reading what's in the spoiler tag (yes, I know it's long. Trust me--it's worth it) before reading what's below. 5. He's asking for the Idrians to not vote for Cog. And I don't have my note with me (I'm on my phone rather than my laptop), but I'm fairly certain the only people voting for Cog at the moment are Idrian...since he's Hallendren. As for who I think. I think there are only 2 agents. One on each side. Yet two people have said they're the Idrian Agent. I'll believe the one who said it in thread for now. Mostly because the one who said it in the PM group seems more sketchy. So...Swimim. Would you like to explain yourself? I'd RP, but typing on my phone is slow as it is and I need to get ready for work...
  6. Unless we have Lifeless or some other way to kill at night, the only chance we have to kill the Pahn Kahl is during the day. By lynching them. Personally, I'm okay with us not killing someone on the first day, because there's so little information to go off of. But the way this worked out was even better. No one died, but we did get a bit of information. The night will still give us more though. And now. For a bit of RP. Wil'son hated black. It emphasized her pale skin, washing her out. She loved color, not the lack of it. But Paxen was dead. Not that she actually cared about the Idrian. But Bebid still hadn't shown up either. And with the way things were going, she had a funny feeling in her chest that told her the priest wouldn't arrive. So she wore black. For both men. It's only for a couple days, though, she thought. I just can't abide black for longer than that. The day had been one of the most nerve-wracking days in her life. Accusations had been tossed around right and left. This town had been peaceful for as long as she'd been alive. Sure, she'd heard rumors of troubling times with the God King, but not here. Those things weren't supposed to reach her home. But they had. And now Idrians had just tried to kill Ben--a priest of all things. What was the world coming to? Wil'son bustled around her shop, tidying things up for the night. When they'd broken up for the night, she'd heard some of the others worry that the Pahn Kahl would try to disrupt their peace even more tonight. She prayed to Mercystar that nothing would happen. She looked out the window, at the dark street outside. It was so quiet. Almost eerily so. Stop it, she chided herself. Don't let their words get to you. Nothing's going to happen. You're making a mountain out of a molehill, you'll see. You'll wake up in the morning, and Bebid will be here. You can go back to wearing color, and we'll work the peace treaty out, and everything will be fine. You'll see. She nodded her head emphatically and turned away from the window, walking briskly to the back of the shop, where she took the stairs up to her little apartment above her shop. Sleep came quickly, and she welcomed it.
  7. I'm around as well. I'm just with family right now so I don't have time to do a good rp post (I haven't done that much in the other games and want to try it more in this one). Hopefully I'll have some time tonight, but I don't know. We'll see. However, like bartbug, I'll join in regardless of rp time if the votes start flying.
  8. I'm hurt, you two. Devastated. Truly. I mean, I get why you don't trust me, Maill, since I did kind of betray you a bit. But you really didn't trust me at all in the second game? Even before you died? And Aonar! How could you?! I wasn't the only one planning and conspiring. You actually got into the trusted group, so what's that say about you and your insane gambits that actually work? ...Oh, this game is gonna be great. And terrible. And amazing. All at the same time. I'm not trusting anybody (even though I'm really going to want to trust my fellow ex-Spiked...we just worked so darn well together!).
  9. Oh, I wasn't saying that we should change the time. Midnight for me is just as good as any other time would be, and it's far better than after midnight. During the weekdays I like to get to bed before midnight, but I'm just fine staying up to read a write-up. Wouldn't be the first time, as Meta well knows. All that post was was more of a heads-up that I won't be around much. If at all. The last time I went home to visit family was Christmas and I spent most of those 2 1/2 days reading WoR since I was in a time-crunch to finish it. I don't really want to be horribly distracted this time around as well (and based on how attached I got to the previous games, that's actually a valid concern for me). So...yeah. If everyone else wants to change the time, that's good, but I'm perfectly okay with what it's currently at.
  10. Starting at 6pm AEST? If I'm doing my math right, that puts it at midnight on Thursday. Which means that I'll be incredibly inactive on the first day. Just throwing that out there. I'll be asleep when the game starts and then I'll be at work. And then driving home to see my family. And then doing stuff with them. So I'll be able to check in every once in a while, but it won't be much.
  11. Dang, that's good! I find it humorous that you built up my character more than I ever did. Didn't picture her as a lady, but it works. And all the other detail (for not just mine, but everyone's). Fantastic. You should definitely finish it. Because the story's just starting to get good (game-wise).
  12. Wil'lson is a fabric merchant. She sells all sorts of colors in her little store. From basic blues, reds, and yellows to more obscure colors like chartreuse, firebrick, and thistle. She loves bright colors and would never be caught dead in something drab, like brown or gray. She is fairly young--early thirties--with long dark mahogany hair, with strips dyed various colors (purple, yellow, sky blue, etc). She's a big fan of order and often uses lists in her business and any other situations in her life. Some might say she's a List Master...maybe. But first and foremost, she's a merchant of color, and she loves it.
  13. Ya know, I wouldn't have any issues with making you honorary spiked or giving you my boots (which I'm entirely certain wouldn't fit you)...the only problem is that I had to go after you 3 nights in a row (3 nights!!!) before you finally gave up the ghost. If you really wanted to help us so much, you would've died that first night I attacked...
  14. To be completely honest, Cessie and I both didn't want to kill you. Or Hero. We actually wanted to convert you, but then when it came down to choosing which emotional allomancer to kill and which one to convert, killing you and converting Gamma just made more sense. And Hero being the Tineye made it impossible to convert him. However, he definitely is Honorary Spiked this game. Hands down. He helped us so much. (Thanks, Hero! ) EDIT: I'm reading through the dead doc right now, and I just came across Swimmingly's request to have symbolism happen in any post where his corpse's convert acts....So now I must go back to look at the write-ups. I need to see what I missed happening while I was there shooting people full of coins....
  15. Personally, I think most of the Spiked doc is hilarious. But that's probably because I participated in it. However, I can't blame you for not wanting to read it. It's 75k words. That's insane. We are a very talkative bunch.
  16. Sorry about this, guys. We really wanted to get it working, and Eric and I pretty much exhausted every alternative we could think of. Couldn't get it working in time. Next time will be much better. As it is, I'll take a look at the recording and sound tomorrow. There were some good questions and the reading was great. Really, the entirety of that part of the release party was a lot of fun. I'll post it soon (tomorrow, if the quality is good as is).
  17. Sorry I haven't participated at all today. Words of Radiance, you see. I barely found time to check the site much the last couple days. It's been crazy. And things are about to get crazier since we're about to meet with Team Sanderson to help with everything... I agree that there's probably an inactive as well as an active Spiked left. However, I don't think the Spiked would've picked someone inactive in the forums, unless they can place orders in the Spiked doc. I've been keeping an eye on the activity, and Windy is often on, so even though he's inactive in the game, he could totally be keeping track of things enough to help them out. I've had my eye on him for a couple days as a pretty good possible convert, and with the way things are looking now, I'm becoming more and more convinced that he is. I'm not sure if he's the Coinshot, like Quiver seems to think, but there's a chance he could be. Quiver himself could be Spiked, but he's not my leading suspect and I don't have time to look more into detail on his past posts. So I'm gonna vote Windy. Hopefully the vote doesn't look like it's going to deadlock because I won't have time to change my vote. I'll be doing the livestream all night and not checking back on the game. Sorry about that, but hey--you'll be getting a livestream*! That totally makes everything else okay. *Disclaimer: I have never done a livestream, so I don't know exactly how this will go. Should be fun!
  18. And now there are only two. Obviously, I'm not going to vote for myself, so that leaves Seran. Fortunately, Seran's been one of my top suspects for a while. And I'm not the only one. Both Aspren and Barty listed him too. You can argue that they also listed me as well, and that's true. They did. Aspren told me it was a gut feeling, though, and we've seen his list wasn't entirely accurate (Kurk and Vron (since I seriously doubt you're Spiked)). Barty is the one we should be trusting here. As the second tineye, he was probably in whatever group Peng had going on. He was privy to information most of us weren't. And while I was listed, Seran, Mathieu, and Quillion were higher priorities. With Aether in his head like he was, Barty no doubt ordered it that way very intentionally, which means Seran was the highest priority. I'm assuming Barty had a reason for that, and if there's anyone left from that PM group, it'd be nice to know what that was. For me, his sporadic activity set off alarm bells. But, if it's not for you guys, that's fine. You can go ahead and lynch me. And I notice Seran posted while I was writing this. He could be telling the truth. Or he could be lying. Personally, I'm leaning toward the lie, but that's mostly because I don't really want to die even if I'm okay with dying in order to prove my innocence. Yeah so, at this point, it doesn't matter to me. You can test me and kill me and prove I haven't Snapped yet (I'm beginning to think all the regulars were actually Unsnapped, and I've just drawn the short straw in this ordeal), or you can test Seran and kill him if he's lying or take one of his lives if he's not. And then we'll have another guarantee of who to trust. Whatever you want. And holy crap. I'm done. I just typed this all out on my phone, sitting in a tent shivering on cold concrete. Stupid laptop won't charge and the internet at BYU freaking sucks so I can't even connect anyway...
  19. Those memories consist of many losses, just so you know. I'd hate for you to steal my memories only to find that they weren't nearly as cool as you'd hoped.
  20. There's a screen cap of it in the Reputation Points thread. I've met Brandon. Multiple times. First was at a Hero of Ages signing back in '08. Met him again on the WoK tour. And then a bunch this past year. Rithmatist, 2-3 Steelheart, plus some of the other random signings, and I played Magic with him once or twice... *joins Serendipity in running away from the crowd carrying pitchforks*
  21. Hm. Roban...he's not the leading suspect on my list, but he is up there... since you guys seem to be sure, I'll go along with it. Roban . And here's to hoping I survive the night... Sorry. I don't really have time to say anything else. Or the patience to type it all out on my phone...if I've got time tomorrow (assuming I'm still alive), I'll make a list to hopefully help us find the rest of the Spiked.
  22. Just to let you know, Eric, this isn't a problem anymore. At least, not for me. I'm not sure if you did something, or if it just sorted itself out, but the text editor works fine now (even in Chrome). Which makes everything else work too. That said, I'm still really glad I learned all that bbcode. Those colors and everything? Excellent information stored in my head...
  23. It's an odd feeling, seeing one's name plastered across the wall in such big, bold letters.... Totally agree with this. The last I'd heard, he was running off a gut feeling, and it's kinda hard to refute a gut feeling. We've been running on gut feelings most of this game, so I'm hoping Aspren's accusations bear more weight than just that. It'd be really nice to finally get some of the Spiked. Yeah, so...I'm not really sure what to say. I've already told you guys I'm a regular, and that hasn't changed. As for going off his List (yes, I did just call it a List, as it clearly is such), I actually agree with some of his accusations and think they have merit. So as much as I'd prefer to stay alive and see this thing through to the end, I can't really say "Yes, let's target a few on that List, but skip over others." I do, however, think we should target those on his List we all agree about. Or most of us, since we can't really expect the Spiked to agree when we target one of their own...
  24. The Lists will be ever in our favor, aiding us in our quest. And I agree about the Listborn title. It is rather awesome, and I prefer it to List-Maker. It's less cumbersome. However, I'm rather attached to my current title, so you can have it, Aonar.
  25. Amen. In the absence of the High-List-Master Aether, I take it upon myself to extend a secondary apprenticeship to Aonar. He has clearly proven himself worthy of holding the title of List-Maker. May Lists long outlive those cursed and forsaken Tables. Also, Aspren. Let's see you call Lists archaic now.
