Alright, I'll edit it in shortly. EDIT: Colors! I forgot about this. I really will get it up soon this time. It's not very good, but it'll keep the game going, at least. I walk the hidden paths, going places others see only in their dreams. I know secrets of the past, present, and future. I seek knowledge of distant times and places. I wield forgotten powers, relics of another age. I do and say what others never will. I witnessed the Beginning of the End.

Nope, and nope. Pretty sure that's fifteen guesses now, so without further ado: It's Stick, from Words of Radiance. Both are good guesses, but both are wrong. Not necessarily very similar to Pattern, just more so to Pattern than to Shallan.

No on Shallan and Pattern, though I can see where you're getting that. Pattern's the closer of the two. Also no on Kaladin, though I'm surprised that wasn't guessed earlier. Here's a hint. If the poem were personally written by the character... Let's just say it would be very different.
