  1. I think Sadeas may of killed more people than Sezth! He killed about 600 at the tower and hundreds more in the bridge crews plus a lot of things we don't know about. Seth has done at the most 40 assassinations with only a few dead each time. Sadeas is also shown to have no guilt and no hope of redemption while Sezth could have found redemption. If Kaladin was right to kill Sezth then Adolin was definitely right to kill Sadeas.

  2. Those I once wrote in an old thread...

Dustbringers: "I will do what is right even if it is wrong."

Truthwatchers: "I will seek knowledge wherever I can find it"

And I think the Stonewards 2nd ideal has been announced as: "I will stand."

I think their is a WoB that the ideals don't have set words, Dalinar could of said "I will build up instead of break apart". So "I will stand" is the same as "I will keep going"

The Stonewards are also Resourceful so 3rd ideal could be "I will use what I have, no matter how little"

Have any other oath been announced.

  3. "I will lead those who need protecting" 4th ideal of Windrunners

"I will save as many as I can, no matter how few" 5th ideal of Windrunners"

"I will bring justice to all." 4th ideal of Skybreakers

"I will not be blinded by the smaller picture" 5th ideal of Skybreakers.

"I will destroy those who bring evil" 2nd ideal of Dustbringers (I wonder if a sword can attract spren)

"I will help those others neglect" 3rd ideal of Edgedancer.

"I will see what others don't" 2nd ideal of Truewatchers.

"I will learn what was lost" 2nd ideal of Elsecallers.

"I will keep going, no matter what" 2nd ideal of Stonewards

"I will find those who need uniting" 3rd ideal of Bondsmiths

  4. There is a WoB that there are 9 active groups, this means one group needs to be inactive for the idea to work, but the Envisagers could just be inactive and not destroyed.

Still can't think what he Envisager should be, maybe Stonewards since they meant to not change their minds even if they are wrong, and jumping of cliffs is something you should change your mind about.

I wonder if Hoid counts as a group- him, the ugly lizard crab thing and stick.

  5. I recently had an idea that each secret society could be placed on table of the ten essences and Radiants.

1.Sons of Honor- Bondsmiths, as both have tried to refound the Radiants.

    2. Mr T and co- Windrunners, Mr T is trying to lead the whole world and protect humanity, basically following a corrupt version of the Windrunner attributes.

    3. Skybreakers- no idea .

    4. Ghostbloods- Lightweaver, our only Lightweaver is a member, and Mraize likes her drawings which shows Creativity. Also both are linked to Blood.

    5. 17th shard- Elsecallers, they know allot about the cosmere which kind of makes them wise. Some of the Elsecallers may of become worldhoppers.

6.Envisagers-not sure about this one, they are Sons of Honor that don't harm others, maybe Dustbringer as they are brave enough to kill themselves.

A am sure that the total number will be 10, there are 9 currently active + Envisagers which were destroyed.

  6. Maybe savant is the wrong word. I think that lerasium rips the link to preservation into a hole, simmilar to what becoming a savant does. Becoming a savant is then making the hole wider and damages other parts of the spirit web.

Rewriting the spirit web could be the samething as making a hole in it.

  7. I was thinking about how lerasium seems to be completely different to every other allomantic metal, including atium. Lerasium is the only metal that has a permanent effect from burning, but every metal does have a permanent effect, making you a savant. This could be what happens with lerasium, everyone has a link to Preservation and this link is what the power from burning lerasium comes through and since lerasium has so much power one bead makes you a savant. Your spirit has a hole ripped in it that lets you use the rest of the metals.

Lerasium alloys cause the power to be drawn through a smaller section of the link to Preservation so only that section has a hole ripped in it.

This theory means that there would be another use of lerasium, a power that only happens when the metal is burnt.

  8. There are spikes for stealing Feruchemical chromium so maybe there is a way to steal each Feruchemical attribute without stealing the actual ability to use Feruchemy. But we would need a WOB or book instance to Prove that.

Well iron spikes basicly steal Feruchemical pewter so I think the same thing could happen for other powers.

Leasrium seems to be the only metal that breaks the rules as it has a permanent effect allomanticly. Atium seems to follow the normal rules, spikes only change the decay rate to 0 and copperminds break the rules more than atiumminds.

  9. Granted. You become a full Shardbearer... But every time you summon your blade, you hear its screams of pain while simultaneously hearing another voice in your head that tells you you should kill every person you see.

Well I can still use the shardplate  :D

Granted. Every time you worldhop, somebody dies.

    I wish I was a Mistborn.

Your become a half skaa Mistborn in the time of the final empire. The inquistors hunt you down and use you for spikes.

  10. I may have found another use of electrum allomancy. Shards  are able to see into the future, atium gives someone a short term version of this ability. Electrum has been shown to stop atium, so maybe if an oracle is always burning then they are immune to any shard prophecies that have been made. Maybe nicrobursting an oracle removes them from any prophecy for the near future.

  11. It has been confirmed that Hoid can travel forward in time so he doesn't wait for things to happen, but I don't think it can happen backwards in the cosmere. I think time travel can only happen like it does in Alloy of law, travelling back in time would have to many paradoxes unlike the laws of the cosmere.

  12. I like the pressure idea, it explains why using the mist directly needs no metals, once the power is in your body it wants to leave so you don't need any metals. Feruchemys diminishing returns might be because using power normally is how fast the power naturally flows, when you draw extra you use the investiture as a fuel to push more through. This could mean that more powerful Feruchemists lose less from drawing extra as well as being able to store more, since the feruchemical "pipes" are wider.

The compression of the three realms could be what a fuel always does, it compresses the realms to give investiture a path to flow through when it doesn't have one. Metals could compress the realms to give access to filtered mists.

Dakor might not be end negative, it could just be that since the users body is the focus (because of the bones) drawing enough power to teleport vaporises the host, this would mean that the dor is always end positive.

  13. A few things that are missing

    Surgebinding

    Fuel- heat?

Focus- gems(in soulcasting and possibly regrowth) and the spren, there seems to be two.

    Allomancy

Investiture- The mists are the investiture that is used (the link to Preservation is also investiture but it doesn't power Allomancy).

Fuel- Metal is the focus and fuel.

    Feruchemy

Fuel- The power that is lost when you draw a lot at once is kind of a fuel.

    Hemalurgy

Fuel- It could be life or blood.

About the Dor. I think the Dor is one big system like Allomancy, there is a WoB somewhere. Each country is like a mistling or KR order.

    Investiture- The dor.

Focus- The persons identity and symbols, again their are two focuses.

    Fuel- no idea.

End- normally positive, Dakor might not be.

  14. Since there is a topic that is guessing what the other feruchemical powers could be, there needs to be one guessing what the other hemalurgic ones are.

    Some ideas are,

Age- this could cause people to become hemalurgic "vampires" that keep spiking people to stay alive.

Identity- gives you access to the metal minds of the ferring you just killed, and possibly their voice in your head.

Sight- Like an iron spike but gives you permanent tin.

Connection- Gives you the spiritual connections the person you killed had, making the deceased friends trust you.

  15. Every shards gas form seems to give people some power when in is breathed in, they can use that shards power and get something extra. Endowments Breath gives the hightenings, Stormlight give strength and energy, but what would the black mists do.

For getting that shards power, that would be charging spikes or getting metal reserves for the spikes you have. But what would that extra power be.

Also I can't find if the normal mists gave Vin anything else other than mega Allomancy.

  16. I agree about Ruin and Cultivation. They are both same/similar on the change stasis axis. The opposite of change can't be decay because Cultivation and Ruin would become too different. Ruin might even have a bit of growth as he said that Ruin is needed for life.

I think the opposite of grow could be Endowment type improvement. Growth is giving it what it needs to improve by itself, the other is just improving it.
