  1. Maybe. It is said that it was built "in the place closest to Honor". I have taken this to mean that it is either by his Shardpool, or the highest mountain as deities tend to be seen as in the sky.
  2. Especially when I think about how ruin was able to change words writen words around it is very obvious that odium has had many opportunities to manipulate Mr.T. Especially with the refrence of someone doing something similiar in trying to become king before Nohadon's desolation and that helping it be so destructive I really believe odium had an influence. It is a genius "long con" and makes sense for odium to do. In ruins case he manipulated someone into believing he was the hero of ages and used him to almost destroy the world. In Odiums case he is manipulating some one into believing he should be king to save humanity and is using him to destroy Roshar's chance at fighting back.
  3. I'm not so sure, cultivation isn't anywher near a "good" shard. Brandon once said that the closest shards can intent to hers was ruin. Wyndle has said that he believes that Cultivation has given up on humanity. I'm really interested on what we get to see of Nightwatcher in this next book.
  4. That makes sense. Lot less exiting than the other possibilities though XD.
  5. I agree, I have seen no talk about what he does to absorb the stormlight and it is so blantantly obvious that he does it somehow... I'll need some WoB on what Vasher does, I'm hyped for him to be back in my area in 2016.
  6. I was thinking about the interchangeability between breaths and stormlight and had a pretty big epiphany. Since it has been basically confirmed by WoB that Vasher is on Roshar because it is easier to get the investiture he needs to live, wouldn't he need to be able to draw in stormlight and take it in as he would breath? If so does he have a nahel bond? An honorblade? Has he figured out a way to hold stormlight other than the two ways we know of? I am positive that breaths were able to be passed between people fairly easily is because of the shard involved, Endowment, so I think something g similar wouldn't be possible on Roshar, making Surgebinding or an honorblade the most obvious way for him to live under the circumstance of a Returned
  7. And predicting the future is of the voidbringers...
  8. Was just putting some thoughts down, I thought it was interesting. I agree that it is almost definitely still of Cultivation, was just a fun concept
  9. On r/StormlightArchive there was a theory that the old magic was voidbinding, in reference to the Parshendi being refered to as "the old people" This got me thinking on the Nightwatcher and where she would fit into this theory. Could it be that odium could have hijacked the Nightwatcher like he can spren and use her for his agenda. What would this mean for Taravangian? He has taken the role of semi-antagonist and it would be an easy transition in the story for him to become a legitimate villain. What could this implicate for Dalinar? Many things, but it would depend on when Odium theoretically took control of NW. Just food for thought, if this next book is Dalinar's as Brandon is saying then we will learn much more about the Nightwatcher.
  10. Good theory, the only thing I can say against it would be that in WoR there was a man (don't remember his name, he was the proto-radiant that healed) who said that the "one" shattered himself to experience all things and that all things would eventually be one again. I personally asked Brandon at a con if a religion based around Adonalsium still exists and I think that that's what the man is apart of.
  11. I picture Rock as more Parshendi looking, with unnaturally black skin and red patterns to go along with his hair.
  12. As someone above me said, WoB is that he for sure didnt
  13. I can't find it right now, but I saw a WoB that was along the lines of "When you go into shadesmar, it is your physical form that enters". I assumed that that ment that no other weird stuff was happening with someone's physical form, but you may be right.
  14. Some beings seem to be more apart of one of the 3 realms more than others. I could have done a better job explaining it, I apologize. If you are still confused then look back to the Parshendi and how the Spren chose the humans - who are more in the physical realm - over the Parshendi to bond to.
  15. I have recently been rereading the way of kings and came upon the Axies interlude. In the interlude he describes how his shadow turns the wrong way, towards the sun. Also recently I asked Brandon a few questions, one being the importants of shadows turning the wrong way in shadesmar. He responded by saying that is was flavor then corrected himself saying that it had a reason and told me that it was important flavor. I think that this is sufficient information to deduce that the Aimians draw power from, or are close too, the cognitive real in some way. This would make sense with Axies ability to clear his own hangovers with a thought. People have probably noticed this before but it was a "wait what did he just say" moment for me when Axies gave that little detail.
