  1. Upvote for you sir, I like it a lot.
  2. This was absolutely amazing. You're Ruinous to everyone who is trying to Preserve their style.
  3. Preferably not puns as I don't want this to to be Ruined... dang, it has already begun. My favorite that I used on my wife yesterday was "Are a Slider? Because every time I'm near you, time slows down" (I used the term "Bendalloy Misting" and then had to explain what a Bendalloy Misting was, afterwards it won me an "Awww" and a small kiss... I'm not entirely sure it was a win or it was out of pity but she did suggest I make it a Mistborn meme. Unfortunately I don't have that patience, this seems like a better outlet anyway.
  4. A lot of people find this odd but Heavy Metal like Lamb of God with headphones in helps me read. Only old albums though, stuff I've listened to a hundred thousand times(If the lyrics are super unintelligble to me it's better because it stops my desire to sing along.) Down also works for me because it's blues and metal together and I've also listened to the first three albums about 17trillion times. With most bands I read to it has to be consistent for the time I am reading. If I listen to Artist shuffle I'm screwed. Bands and albums I've been listening to for years does less of setting the mood for me and more blocks out idiotic non-readers. Also: Children of Bodom, Pantera and Black Label Society although HUGE favorites, make it impossible to read while they are playing. For Bodom it's because the musicianship is too awesome for me not to air guitar with and for BLS and Pantera it's impossible for me not to sing along AND air guitar... If you couldn't tell, I'm a metal head.
  5. Thank you Quiver. I feel it can bee both a Warbreaker reference or a weak excuse of a Cadmium ferring.
  6. If rich enough or if you had enough resources (same thing I guess) Couldn't you build like a vented vault with food in it to hide in while you "jump" Also what if one was a Cadmium savant, would the bubble be bigger or would time move quicker? Compounder? same question.
  7. Thank you. The plan for myself is the Inquisitor skull from the Adventure Game with my last name in the steel alphabet arcing over the top.
  8. I think OP means there is a literary "Hoid" in their life. (Sorry practicing for the puns section.)
  9. I'm currently on book 9 and I find it hard not to bang my head on the table for the women's POV. Mainly Elayne, she is amazing...ly annoying. Egwene kicks butt and so does Min Avenida and Elayne's Warder (idk what book she comes in so for OPs sake I won't say her name)
  10. Since Demoux is misting who burns a god metal (atium is the only one readily burned I believe) maybe he can burn whatever metal the shardblades/plates are made of with different effect. No idea on plausible effects though, ideas?
  11. How could Peter be Sigzil if he's already Peet? Source: http://coppermind.net/wiki/Peter_Ahlstrom
  12. ... Then, uh... Brandon's real name is Midius?
  13. Brandon Sanderson. Think about it, Hoid wrote the Ars Arcanum, he can travel to all the Cosmere worlds AND he's pretty awesome. Who else would be able to write about all the history and different eras PLUS the worlds of the Cosmere but someone who has gone to everyone. Sanderson is Hoid visiting Earth... *jaw drops* Earth is part of the Cosmere... More reasonable theory: Brandon has written himself into all of his books
  14. SO SPOILERY, I HAD TO CLOSE MY EYES AND SCROLL DOWN!!! Me sad now, want to read WoR! :,(
  15. Scardian waffles sound delicious yet suspiciously naughty.
  16. Funny enough, I'm stuck on the 9th as well. The women get on my nerves a majority of the time when they start berating men. Then Men don't do the reverse very often so it seems unfair and extremely naggy to me.
  17. Haven't read WoR yet because I'm trying to read WoT but the thought of reading WoR is distracting me from finishing WoT and thus delaying me from reading WoR. It's a vicious cycle really.
  18. When you say "Rust and Ruin" when upset. I sometimes also use "Storms" and I refuse to call Monsoons anything but Highstorms.
  19. This is the most heart warming thing I've ever seen. Beautifully done.
  20. AHA!!! I love it, Her wedding ring is gold so ya know... on the ring box? Maybe a tattoo... *EUREKA!* GOLD OPPOSITE THE PEWTER FOR HEALTH AND STRENGTH!!!! I could kiss you all... but I won't because, gross.
  21. That's it, that's literally the end of the saying I can't believe how easily amused I am. I have been online for about ten minutes today and I have already laughed heartily at the probably FIVE posts that I read here. UPVOTES FOR THE LOT O' YE!! 22. Yes, Ketek that was me on reddit. I never posted a picture because I didn't have the energy to start an Imgur account. We are in talks over a kind of arm band where Tin is the next one. Iron may go on later to "help" with the anemia, because all of her ferrous sulfate pill bottles have Iron drawn on the lid and her steroids have pewter.
  23. I one dream of one day of being a Twinborn, Shardblade bearing Returned with thousands of breaths.
  24. I one dream of one day of being a Twinborn, Shardblade bearing Returned with thousands of breaths.
  25. My wife-type creature has a pewter tattoo on her inner bicep that I applied, it looks cartoony due to foolishly trying to shade in with a liner needle instead of a mag but she loves the worn and cartoony look. Cheers on your art it is beautiful.
