Adventures in Edassa Information Thread (RP Ongoing!)
BreathTaker replied to Seonid's topic in Inactive RPs
So the Rebellious are basically High-Order demons? This is awesome. Now I can't wait for the book to come out, let alone play the RP.- 314 replies

"It is Delightful to see you M'Lady" The King said with a smirk, bowing back to her in an equally respectful manner. "I was wondering," BT said to Delightful, "Would you be willing to either be the impartial judge or ask a good storyteller to judge the Baron and I duel each other?" *This is the best way to duel I think. Have someone else narrate our fight, we enter the ring with our own posts but after that the "Judge" takes over."

Nightwatcher Boon/Bane (Game)
BreathTaker replied to killersquirrel59's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
Granted, but Brandon still finished the series... wait I don't think that's a Bane... I wish to be able to draw like Shallan. -
Join the party at Raven's keep.
-
I thought it was pretty funny... mean... but funny.
-
I had the same "Hoid is Brandon" theory. I'm sure the Kandra would know if it's working with Hoid.
-
There would be some Big Dang Heroes in that movie.

Granted but he's sick as a dog and stuck on the toilet all day. I wish to be a Windrunner. -
"You know, I honestly didn't think about how that would work out here on the Forum" The King said in a brief moment of realizing this was all on the internet and not in real life.
-
The King bowed his head to the crazy Pony Lady and turned to Pirh, a wolfish grin flashed across the Raven's face, "I hope you weren't feeding on my pack's food supply, I have about a dozen Sonoran Grey Wolves roaming the desert."

My wife is learning piece by piece and she usually only does it to flirt with me or try to talk to my family (most of them speak perfect english but they like to see her try.) One of my... friends.... in High School used to Sign at me when she couldn't talk, either because it was too loud on the bus or other reasons so I picked up some of that and then lost it again. (Other reasons were things like she lost her voice from a Choir concert the night before or she got a cold)

BT cast a serious look her way, he agreed with her that the Pony thing was a little... weird... but they were also his friends... his weird, weird friends... and now was not the time to be undiplomatic.

You Know You're a Sanderfan When...
BreathTaker replied to Shardbearer's topic in General Brandon Discussion
It's really unfortunate that the older generation hates manliness so much haha. Where I live I have seen guys that look like Dwalin wearing suits and I think it's awesome. Speaking of Dwalin, has anyone noticed yet that his brother Balin is the Treasurer.... he's BALLIN'!!!!! Bwahahahahaha -
The King sighed at the sight of a Pony trotting across the room, these people were always too happy... "Greetings Lady Traceria," BT said as he bowed to the newcomer, "The Herd is welcome here just be careful not to step on anyone's toes." "Anyone want a doughnut?" BreathTaker turned to see another old friend of his and declined the offer graciously, "Thanks Lefty but I'm on a diet, Care for a Shardblade duel after the formalities are complete?" As he spoke, a familiar scent passed his nose. Pirh had re-entered the party, he bowed his head to her and turned to speak to Traceria again. "So, do you know if any other members of the Herd will be joining our little shindig?"
-
Make it so Lefty.

accidentally downvoted you sorry Can somebody fix that please

BT walked over to the pair of ladies, a yellowish glint in his eyes. He snapped his fingers and a hooded Muerto emerged from one of the shadows bearing a tray with two goblets and a mug. One goblet held a deep crimson colored drink while the other had punch, the cup held a deep amber beer. "Don't worry Pirh, we both are supporters of the Alley. Here is a glass of that 'bloo-wine' you drink," A knowing smile touched his eyes as he then passed the punch to Elsa. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The King studied Pirh out of the corner of his eye, he sniffed the air once and recognized it at once. Another smile, it was good to have another Wolf in the area. The Herd, though friendly and semi-decent hearted, was no place for someone of BT's kind to be. A Pack needed to be formed. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ * You guys are probably better liked than I am around here, so tell everyone you know to come on down*

Thank you for the upvote. I agree, I think he says something similar is "Defending Elysium" but I think that story is great. "I Hate Dragons" had me laughing pretty hard too.

Granted, but the portal opens up to Cthulu's home planet. I wish for the ability to tell epic stories. -
BT looked at everything Elsa had made and smiled, taking a sip of his beer he looked over at the queen, "This looks wonderful Elsa, thank you. Now all I need to do..." The King turned and walked to the doorway through which they entered, he closed it and drew yet another spell circle on the heavy Ironwood. He placed his hand on the circle and closed his eyes, a soft purplish glow emanated from the circle. Once the glow subsided BT opened the door and instead of the long dark tunnel it previously led to, the throne room was on the other side of the threshold. "That way no one gets lost," he told her with a wink.

Help me make a cosmere bar joke
BreathTaker replied to Natanaj's topic in General Brandon Discussion
A Steel Inquisitor walks into a bar... It was made of wood. -
Chuckling through his beard he smiled at the young Queen, "It's not grand yet lass but thank ye." Indeed, several arrangements still needed to be made. He bowed to the visiting queen and motioned for her to follow him. After walking for a time they came to a cavernous chamber deep within the castle, "If you would help me Elsa, I need to build a dueling ring as well as a pair of speaking platforms for the games of Wit. I also need to make some tables and a drink bar. If you could make some chandeliers and other decorations, that would be immensely helpful. My Muertos will be hauling up barrels of wine and beer as well as jugs of punch and water. If you could chill the punch and water that would also help." At that the King turned and began inscribing spell circles of Stone and Fire into the ground where he wanted everything placed. Once those were placed he approached each spell circle in turn and began the process of raising the entertainment areas. Between projects, a robed skeleton bearing a glass of golden liquid would approach BT and and offer him the cup to rejuvenate his power. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ BT nodded to the woman as she entered and one of his Muertos approached her with a tray of drinks. "Please, have a seat. My servants will have the food brought up shortly and hopefully more guests will be arriving soon." With another brief nod the King went back to his work. *Should I start a new thread for the party?*

I just read it today and I agree it's pretty awesome. I had read pieces of it before but today I sat down and actually read it.

People you wouldn't want to meet in a dark alley
BreathTaker replied to Voidus's topic in The Alleyverse
Everyone, as long as no bickering comes of it. It's a big castle, if you don't like someone go to a different part. (I actually use that rule in my house on the rare occasion I throw a party.)
