  1. He's right, you know. Why do you think those men at Tammany Hall had so much power during the Gilded Age? It wasn't because of their smarts.
  2. I think Wanda is a good name for a T-rex. And they have a floating fortress filled with dinosaurs. I cannot stress this enough.
  3. Crap's 'bout to get REAL, guys.
  4. Poor Kobold. It'll take him at least two sombreros to find that map, what with all the ponies littering the thread. :/
  5. That's where I remember it being, too. Close to downtown, but closer to the suburbs than, say, the bank.
  6. The censored one is her secondary weakness. More of a consequence than an actual chunk-of-glowing-Kryptonite weakness. It was her primary weakness until I tweaked her character, gave her a better outfit, and made her waaaayyyy crazier than the one you'd expect from this profile.
  7. I like the ponies! If we could just get custom cutie marks in the new version, it's be just about perfect.
  8. Prey? That has some of the same letters as PARTY! You know what time it is!
  9. I like it, I like it. Having her wake them up late at night, with her diamond arm and imperious questions about her brother...
  10. Tillamook, probably. I'd imagine Lightwards would want to keep any potential, um, shenanaginizing out of his museum.
  11. I wanted to leave room for interpretation.
  12. Is THAT what it was? I had no idea.
  13. There are only so many places an evil surfboard Epic can go in Portland. Coastal towns like Astoria, on the other hand.....
  14. Only the, um, important characters. Yes, the nurse is important. So is Ron Wilson, Bus Driver.
  15. It was mostly ponies, jokes, and "Whose turn is it?"
  16. Huh. Fancy that. You shall see, Mailliw. You shall see.
  17. Dogs aren't her weakness, exactly, but she does shudder and leave the room if she hears one bark.
  18. O.o Maybe they were too busy fleeing in terror to take him seriously. The peals of laughter came later, when they realized all the scary Epic did was pant and wag his tail.
  19. I was going to express surprise that Purina not only survived the Epics, but also managed to make their company profitable, but this is apparently a world where McDonalds no longer exists, so expect the unexpected, I guess. And I guess it's also for the best that Quickslide died without ever knowing just how helpful he was.
  20. His cutie mark is also a caution sign. Would it be speaking ill of the dead to say he would be angry to learn he was accidentally helpful?
  21. There's already Lightwards fanart, I see.
  22. Fun fact: When I shared my espoused theory (Calamity is an Epic) my sister mocked me with a modified Horton Hears a Who! quote: To which I said Ha! And also Hahaha, because I found that remark hilarious. Also, the Flying Spaghetti Monster theory isn't entirely mine. Well, it is, but I wrote it for a character who is supposed to be insane, so I'm not sure how much I believe it. It does hold a certain amount of water, though…. Calamity could very well be a bad metaphor. Like all bad metaphors, it taints the entire story world and turns characters into powerful caricatures of themselves who proceed to destroy the story from the inside out.
  23. I actually had a similar thought, but I was distracted by the shipping. …. Can I borrow one? I'm, uh, kinda nervous about getting through grad school, and I'm not sure good grades are *ahem* entirely what they seem…. By the way, is Edge next?
