Thanks! Both of you! I'm still wondering if I should bring Cole back, too. It would make sense, though I'm not sure exactly how he should appear. I could go in a number of different directions, but I don't want to go in all of them at once. I like the idea of tying him back into the story, even for just a cameo, though.

I wasn't saying Funtimes WAS more powerful than CorpseMaker. Honestly, in a fight between them, she'd probably wind up teleporting far away and barely surviving his basilisk stare, and then avoiding him from then on. Of course, him killing her is not outside the realm of possibility, given her lack of invincibility or healing of any kind. And her fight with Fortuity was far from fair (bullets into croutons--how do you predict THAT?). I just found CorpseMaker's caution around her humorous given that she's kind of a ridiculous Epic. I would say the two steaks would wind up merging together. If there are multiple steaks from the same cow in that steakhouse, I think they'd fly from plates and merge with one another as the cow came back to life.

I'm giving the Altermind/Lightwards negotiations a while to catch up. All Funtimes really has to do is finish turning the museum into a jungle, say "Happy Unbirthday, here's your present" to Lightwards, and get out of there.

Also, reading various perspectives on CorpseMaker, I realized something: Every other Epic in this RP is either afraid of him, in awe of him, or both. The only one who didn't seem afraid when she met him was Doctor Funtimes, who decided he would look good in neon hammer pants after christening him Jeffrey. And when she mentioned beating Fortuity, CorpseMaker decided to tread carefully around her. How did someone whose shoes don't match wind up being one of the scariest Epics in the game?

I base Doctor Funtimes on David's brief mention of "some bizarre Epics" and excuse her under that same clause. But yeah, it'd suck if we were breaking all the "rules" of the 'verse. But...I don't know. For Lightwards, I guess you could excuse it with the "came back wrong" defense.

It seems plausible that it could have been after that date, but if if was soon after (which seems the most likely, given Steelheart was published around 2011/2012) then it's unlikely that the toys would have been released. The book implies that things went downhill pretty soon after Annexation Day, in most of the US, and releasing toys for a movie that many people might not see doesn't seem probable.

I found two songs that fit Voidgaze/Al as a couple. Hey Mama because it's adorable and so are they and Wagon Wheel because I can't be the only one who thinks Al would hitchhike across the Northwest to get back to his Voidy.
