  1. Yeah, if Sam or Remington were killed, Funtimes would lash out at whoever took credit. If Lightwards denied it, she might believe him, since he's had a hundred plus chances to do it and hasn't. She might torture him anyway until he divulged what he knew, and then go after whoever he implicated until she found the perpetrator. That did take a lot of work. Bravo.
  2. Secret plans, secret plans everywhere! Not that I'm one to point fingers. I haven't even counted how many planning PMs I have.
  3. Would saying exactly how much I want to see this make me a terrible person?
  4. And he really takes initiative in getting what he wants.
  5. Um...maybe he was using the sword to cut her a piece of cake? *hopeful smile*
  6. Re: Seonid's The Dalles post:
  7. I just wanted to say that if you think I'm taking the game in a direction you don't like, or if I'm god-modding, or doing anything in my posts that you don't think is good for the overall game, let me know and I'll change it.
  8. Koschei says gods can be as creepy as they want to be. Also, he has a knife, so you might want to run now.
  9. It was indeed. I'm also rather excited for this.
  10. Koschei's dead. It's just a nightmare. You know, I took this great stress management class back when I was getting my AA degree. Do you think Lightwards would go if I referred him? Now I'm wondering: would Backtrack see Koschei, or scenes from his pre-Calamity days?
  11. Depends. How often did they run into each other?
  12. Remington: probably Koschei as dictator of Oregon, maybe with Nighthound as his lieutenant and Lightwards as his Starscream. Panacea: yes, with her wearing Koschei's cloak and circlet. Funtimes: will be revealed when she meets Quota. Would Lightwards dream of Möbius, or everyone who ever killed him? I vote yes.
  13. So do I. Bring on the long post! That's why he had to kill her. She knew too much. I hope so. No kidding. I know exactly how that particular nightmare would play out, too. Though I advocate against it, unless Fatebreaker wants Funtimes to name Sandman!Max her number one enemy once she deduces why Nathan isn't sleeping anymore. On the Nighthound front, however, I am in enthusiastic support. True, true.
  14. This has been "Insane Fan Theories that Make Too Much Sense." Tune in next time to learn the truth about Koschei's cloak and what happened to his mother's drapes. No, he turns it into a crossover with the Exorcist and Ghostbusters universes, whereupon the awesomeness causes Oregon to implode. You know....I hadn't considered that yet. Probably both. Maybe one where Fortuity and Lightwards team up to punish him for impersonating an Epic..... Dang, that would be dark. Oh! Do Revolution and Sam get Funtimes to make it rain Lucky Charms on Lightwards all day?
  15. No, at this point, it would be shocking if Nighthound didn't do something creepy every page. And then I'd wonder what he was planning. Plot twist: This is all a game being played by El Internet Denizen, a bored Epic who made the RP's events up to amuse himself. But I know what you mean about the plans. Even as GM and therefore privy to a lot of plans, I'm still three steps from becoming Lightwards-level paranoid about just how many people are plotting to fly Fortuity in as a "surprise" for Nathan or something like that. That icon is beautiful.
  16. Seconded about the snowbirds. And they ALL want to be in front, but none of them want to go the speed limit. Try to pass one, and they'll speed up just enough that you can't pass them, and once you fall behind them (like they wanted all along) they'll slow down to 5 under again. The worst ones are those that seem to think putting their hazard lights on gives them permission to drive however they want. I once drove past a guy who was parked in a turn lane (not the shoulder, which was literally 20 feet ahead) with his hazards on....texting. Not calling for help, but texting. I love winter weather here, but I can't wait until the snowbirds go home.
  17. And his contact with children and teen girls will be kept to a minimum. He sure does like his felonies and crimes against humanity, doesn't he? Ah. More plans, I see.
  18. Um….something that would not be hugged by a child and/or teenage girl? Like a lamp. Backtrack would make a good lamp. Oh, be sure you put "Nighthound killing Lightwards and Funtimes and installing himself as Lord Ruler of Oregon." I know it's not really his style, but the thought is disturbing enough to make it an off-limits conversation topic. What, Corrupted!Voidgaze vs. the entire MEE?
  19. I will come up with an explanation for this one. I am Fanfic Writer, Master of Retcon! Still a little too creepy. Maybe we're all in mourning and therefore denial about her corruption. Maybe we don't want to talk about it. Maybe we like Voidgaze just the way she is and don't want anyone to talk about corrupting her! Ever think about THAT, Edgedancer? DID YOU? *sniff* Just….don't talk about it. Get out of here. Just move on. I said move on!
  20. Much less creepy, and most satisfying.
  21. If there was enough material and time for her to put up a wall between herself and the birds, or to trap the birds in a cage, she could combat them that way. Otherwise, she'd have to flee, since she can't transform things that are already alive. Otherwise she'd have turned Nighthound into the world's creepiest teddy bear already. Edit: *headdesk* I forgot about that. Maybe she only transformed a few of the bullets at a time, using the fact that the bullets are larger than the tablets to make more of them from each bullet while the rest flew into the wall?
  22. Thanks. I took it out, and I've started thinking about some more restrictions for her. Such as: due to their speed, she can only transform a few (two or three) bullets at a time; if surrounded by a firing squad, her only recourse would be to teleport out, since she would only be able to turn a handful of those bullets into gummy bears. And, as far as taking people with her….what's the maximum number of passengers she's taken? Five? I think that's the most she'll be able to take.
  23. I suppose it could work, but if it's so weird it's interfering with suspension of disbelief in a world that's already pretty strange, I'll change it.
  24. Is that too weird, though? Should I change the clock thing?
  25. The book would be gibberish, save for the lines she already knew, which would more likely than not be out of place. Same with the kittens she creates--they act more like robotic kittens than actual ones, which is what they're more similar to. Making Fortuity's hat attack him was accomplished through fine-tuned machinery. Mechanics and engineering is her specialty, which is how she accomplishes most of what she does--except for making pancake rain, which she does by knowing how to make pancakes. But yes, her powers are very strange. Edit: The clock...I figured that in the world Steelheart is set in, there might be some sort of digital synchronization tech, if for no other purpose than to ensure minions couldn't claim their clocks were running behind.
