Funtimes….I don't think she'd kill herself, but she would have a very difficult time resisting Nightblood. Her intentions are (usually) good at the core, so that might make a difference; however, I think the best thing for her would be to stay as far away from Nightblood as she could. I need more clever ways to say "NO" under Nighthound's column on the shipping chart.

Is this sequel actually going to happen? Because I really want it to happen. Funtimes? Her external reaction would depend on a variety of factors. Her thoughts, however…well, remember that dark!Funtimes you keep insisting isn't invited to parties? Remington might be slightly tempted, but he would resist. Nathan, I am happy (?) to report, would almost certainly throw up. I like Edgerunner. The way she's written is a very realistic look at an Epic trying to do the right thing, but without all the facts. The way her corruption translated into anger toward the pigs is probably what most people would experience—and, like Edgerunner, would probably rationalize it away as protectiveness and nothing more.

And the best part? It's all told from Nightblood's perspective. We'd get to hear his opinions on Vasher, on Voidgaze, and what it was like to destroy the creepiest source of evil he'd ever seen!

I've seen him in action a few times. That line just stuck out to me because of how funny it was. And he is full of Fridge Horror, but he's awesome enough that it isn't nagging. Nighthound vs. Nightblood is a fight I would like to see. Oohhhhh....you know what would be interesting? A sequel named for him, told from his perspective, where Nighthound is destroyed. I mean, sure it would mean Brandon would need to read this RP and accept it as canon, and then be convinced to write an Earth/Cosmere crossover novel, but if it means we get to read Nightblood's POV on destroying Nighthound, then we can manage all that, right?

I like Nightblood. He may be a sociopath, but he's not rude. Really, how much more polite can you get than "Hello, would you like to kill somebody today?" He's horrifyingly hilarious.

Would the Command "Hug things always" work? If so, Lightwards might find a teddy bear Awakened with that particular Command thrown his way.

She would be seriously disappointed when the mass of ribbons failed to "float in the air in the shape of a happy kitty," and might even cry when her Commands that did work drained things of color.

Was it Voidgaze? She would actually be cool as an Awakener. Funtimes would be terrifying, if only because she would storm the city with a glitter blizzard to conceal her army of dancing Lifeless.

Not too long ago, someone mentioned Funtimes as an Awakener. I'm picturing it. O.O

Having a Bad Day? Stop here for a Good Rant!

Arrogant accountants are terrible. Arrogant accountants who make a big stink over a ticket being five cents over are worse. Arrogant accountants who make a stink over a ticket being five cents over and call to say you did it wrong in their typical irritating way are the worst. That is all. -
Crushed by a helicopter, freezing to death in the Arctic, death by indecision....I feel like we should put all of these ideas into a book: And Then Nighthound Died: 500 Writing Prompts to Destroy Evil and Restore Your Faith in Humanity.

Vondra lands the helicopter on Nighthound and leaves with Ray safely in his custody and Nighthound dead by helicopter landing squarely on his face. Most importantly , PP's beard is saved. Everyone wins. Except for Nighthound.

Autumn is a ginger, but she's currently escorting Backtrack and the twins to the town healer doctor. Maybe....maybe Vondra flies to Portland for reasons, airlifts Ray away from Nighthound, and chats with her all the way back to The Dalles, where he jumps out of a helicopter?

Oops. …. Would it help if I said I have no context for that problem, and so spoiled things out of ignorance as to how the email alerts work? (I'm on this site far too much for email alerts to be useful. )

*whimper,* What Did I Do to Deserve This?, and Back Away Slowly would also work nicely. I never thought Autumn's name would have almost as much shipping potential as Revolution.

In the What Happened in Portland RP, there's a character named Lightwards who is a necromancer. A minor Epic once called him "Lightwards the Green" because of the distinctively hideous green bowler hat he always wears. I sense Lightwards using this slogan sometime in the near future.

Added to the chart. Trying to come up with a clever name for Backtrack/Koschei. Because, aside from the fact that they would have a dysfunctional relationship with nightmare fuel to rival Nighthound/Ray, it needs a name.

Vondra is full of underutilized shipping potential. I'll keep that in mind when I'm envisioning Funtimes sitting on the opposite side of his desk.
