Lightwards is frenemies with Funtimes and he still finds it hard to believe in flying pigs and talking pandas? I somehow get the feeling that he'd be the Vernon Dursley type of parent: "Motorcycles don't fly! How dare your subconscious project that seditious image into your head!" Yeah, me too. They sound kind of awesome.

I like it. Still not sure if I want to switch out Doctor Funtimes for another pony of mine. Probably not Koschei, though. While I like the way that pony turned out, I don't think I want him that close.

If Brandon sees this topic, he should be morally obligated to write a passage in Calamity where David looks up at the star and thinks, but can't be sure, he hears it say "Ho, Ho, Ho!!"

Considering he worked for one dictator with shiny powers and a coworker who could both create shinies and his tolerance of shinies keeps him from Complete Monster status. Then again, since even Koschei wore shinies, I'm not sure it means much. Mostly we just need a reply from Arsenal.

So she can make it sparkle if she wants? I could see someone with her powers using sparklefied nails as an effective distraction, holding her hands up to the sun and using them like little mirrors to temporarily blind an opponent. That, or she just likes color and is a perfectionist when it comes to her appearance.

But...but when he gets to the doctor, he'll realize Koschei is dead, and it's kind of fun watching him squirm. Yes, he does need a doctor badly. How could she solve the problem?

Me gusta. (I was going to say that evil people don't like shinies, but Lucentia's entire power is conjuring and controlling shinies, while even Lightwards seems to like them deep down. And then there's the fact that canon Epics, like Fortuity, wore as many shiny rings as possible, and Steelheart's energy blasts were also shiny. So….yeah, it seems like just about everyone, secretly or openly, likes shinies. )

Yes, but imagine the sparklies! The shinies! When Lightwards sees it, he'll be so horrified that he'll have a massive coronary and just decide not to come back! Together, Funtimes and ShinySparkle could destroy evil.

I think Funtimes has a new bestie. Unless, of course, they decide to fight each other in the shiniest, sparkliest battle ever.

That's not too bad, honestly. And MV is 19, so a relationship with a 23-year-old is neither out of the question nor incredibly creepy. (On its own—if he acts creepy, then their relationship would be creepy no matter how old she is.) But as things stand, that doesn't seem too implausible to me.

Shame. I was totally not looking forward to seeing him resurrect that dinosaur skin jacket and wind up eaten by it instead. I mean...oh, how nice of Calamity to make sure her grumpiest child isn't murdered by his own powers. Very nice indeed. That fun wrecker.

Must….resist….urge…to….ponify Nighthound, Lightwards, and Koschei with lion skin capes….not….resisting….well…. Seriously, if I didn't have somewhere to be this morning, you would all be treated to the three of them cosplaying as Scar.

…. Depending on the reasoning involved, I can see either of them doing that. Nighthound would do it to creep Ray out. Koschei would do it if he thought it would make him look more fearsome. So….yeah, still a tie.

For some reason, this parody makes it very easy to picture Oregon Epics singing the verses—though I can't decide. Is Scar played by Nighthound, Koschei, or both?
