Any objections to Quota heeding Electro's command and running off while mocking him in his head for using the insult "scardy-cat"?

I don't know if this is how I was supposed to read him, but my interpretation of Obliteration leads that scene—and the chance he may reform by the time Calamity begins—to make a lot more sense to me. Obliteration reminded me of some of the preachers I grew up listening to on my parents' and grandparents' radio shows—the sort of preacher who not only believes that we're living in the End Times, but that almost every news report and development in world events is a fulfillment of one Revelations prophecy or another. Verichip is the Mark of the Beast. A tsunami in the South Pacific is evidence of God's wrath. War in the Middle East is one of those "wars and rumors of wars" God's people are going to hear about just before the end. Obliteration struck me as the sort of preacher who not only believed all that, but preached it from the pulpit on Sunday morning. Then, Calamity arrives. Not only does he interpret this as a sign that the world will end, but he soon receives powers. With the powers come nightmares. Given his worldview, I surmised that his nightmares had something to do with the sinful nature of mankind—and that he interpreted these nightmares as visions of the future. With his powers, he came to believe himself to be a destroying angel of God, which actually led him to (according to him) look through Revelation to see which of the Four Horsemen he was. Now, here's the key difference between Obliteration and the radio preachers I grew up with: Obliteration didn't see himself as superior to those God was about to destroy. Where many of those radio preachers saw themselves as chosen by God to escape his wrath, and would have greeted the Rapture with a big "I told you so!" to those outside the church, Obliteration saw destroying the world as something that needed to be done. There was no pride in his actions. He didn't relish it. He simply saw it as something God had told him to do, with the understanding that he himself would be destroyed once his task was completed. His nightmares were visions, where God told him exactly why the world needed to be— —hold on a second. What's this slayer of angels saying? He's calling those visions nightmares? Asking what they're about, like the answer holds the key to ending them? Does he really mean to say….they're just nightmares? He could be wrong, of course. But that confidence—he acts like he knows he's right. He's so calm about it. So assured. He could still be wrong. But if there's a chance he's right, then that means there's hope.

On these nights of ominous moonlight, I just hate to be all alone No, I want to have the party of my dreams! ​No time like the present, let's set out on a quest! Wow. Less than a minute in, and it's already described her motivations perfectly. And the rest of it isn't any less perfect. With Deathwish, I don't see him as a vampire. Instead, I see him as looking almost exactly like Captain Hammer, but with a leather jacket instead of a T-shirt with his logo on it.

Lightwards I see as a stockier Indiana Jones with a rounder face and Harry Potter glasses. Aldo I see as described: a thin man with a ridiculous mustache and a gleam in his eye. Cricket is tall, with a plain sort of face, straight hair the color of brown sugar, and a scowl. Sam is smallish with short , straight black hair and very fair skin. Revolution is tall, with wavy brown hair. Numnums is a dinosaur.

The straight hair I can see, but she's actually pretty thin. The constant sugar eating is a recent development.

So when I introduce Funtimes' sister, will you picture her as Asian?

I thought I decided on Britanic Jerald Jansink….until deciding the implication was too horrifying and immediately reversing my decision. (His real name is Roosevelt Barthes. Yeah….that's why he hid online most of the time.) Really? I'd been picturing all Terrismen as dark-skinned.

Yep. Funtimes and Koschei didn't change appearances at all, though. They might be the only two. (Though it occurs to me that Quota didn't change appearance, either—but then again, I never really described his appearance in detail.) I didn't have that picture in my head, but I like it. On that note, is Sazed black? I always picture him as black.

Does it? I don't remember writing that....might be time for an edit. Then again, my characters sometimes change appearances after I've written their profiles. I think I originally wrote Autumn as a brunette until she became a ginger later on.

Case in point: When Comatose posted a bio for a shapeshifter who thinks she's Taylor Swift, the unanimous response was not "Okay, that's a little weird" but rather "Where have you BEEN all my life?"

Conventional wisdom says that this group is too narrowly defined to gain more than one member. Conventional wisdom did not account for Funtimes and Shiny Sparkle being in the same state.

Only the kids would find the pace of their relationship unusual.

Sparkleglass has existed for less than an hour in-game and Shiny Sparkle is already openly announcing her intentions to "conquer Autumn's heart". And you thought Funtimes took things too fast.

I am trying in vain to come up with a pun on "pony" or "Reckoners" that means "honorary brony."
