Having a Bad Day? Stop here for a Good Rant!
TwiLyghtSansSparkles replied to traceria's topic in General Discussion
Different lady. It took my family an hour to ask what was wrong, or ask about my day at all. Mom didn't even say anything until I was almost in tears. When she finally got the truth out of me, the first thing she asked was "How did you react?" Which, from her to me, means "At which point did you make a buffoon of yourself and make the situation worse?" She said it gently, but still. Whatever. She's probably right, that I handled it all wrong. I don't even care anymore, and I just wish I could've hidden it from her. I'm done. I don't want to do anything anymore. -
Having a Bad Day? Stop here for a Good Rant!

Well, I'm probably going to get an earful when I go in for my internship on Friday. Even though she was the one treating me like an idiot and I didn't say anything in my own defense, it's probably all going to be told as the story of how i rudely spurned her help, even though I didn't even object to it. -
Sadly, Arsenal regards fun the way most people regard the Ebola virus, so they aren't wearing that.

Resurrection is obviously the worst PI. You live, but with memories of dying. That SUCKS. I would take either Murphy's Murphionic field or (if we're introducing obscure powers) Felix Felicis. Like the Harry Potter potion of the same name, Felix Felicis manifests as a sixth sense nudging it's user in the right direction. Imagine how frustrated your enemy would be when they shot you, only to have you duck because you realized there was a winning lottery ticket on the ground. ...and with that, I realize I would be one of those Epics who challenges people to fights just to gloat at the end. How would the GER interact with weaknesses?

Yes. Though killing them will probably have them send out even more firepower to stop her. They're a bit paranoid, even if the Epic happens to look and sound just like Taylor Swift.

Let it be known that on this day, Kobold definitively proved that Calamity is indeed the Dumbledore of the Reckonersverse.

Any thoughts on how we can involve Timeport in this timely car crash?

We could save a lot of time by just having Lightwards and Lucentia link arms and skip off into the night singing "First World Problems."

The source of power for most sci-fi. I wonder...if you combined pure bolognium with tachyons (from Star Trek) would you have unlimited power? He's onto them!

Sorry, but your education is worthless if you can't say which of the Beatles was rumored to be dead and replaced with a look-alike and/or lizard man. (What is an Alcubierre drive?)

I like it, but I think the creator needs more options. The downside of Funtimes' quest for the Lucky Charms comes when the consequences of everyone getting a free pint kick in. Yes, this quest would be conducted with 99% of the party drunk. …okay, even I'm having a hard time seeing how that's a bad thing.

Pro: Everyone would get a free pint. Con: Funtimes would lead literally everyone on a quest to find the Lucky Charms. Yeah, it's probably best if we stick with Sunburst.

Are you SURE you want to turn her into Sunburst? I think Hibernia could do the job just as well.

Do ethical politics even exist? The more I watch politics, the more convinced I become that ethical politicians are like unicorns.
