    I sure hope so. He's bloodthirsty, racist, far too interested in women, and above all, he's freaking me out. Backtrack would do that. I would t be surprised if he has already.

    Blood of My Blood, the third book in the Jasper Dent series. Jasper's dad, Billy, is the most notorious serial killer in the United States, and this is the book where we meet him in person. And he is so, so much like Nighthound.

    Thing is, I'm allergic to something in the vaccines. I don't know what, but apparently I had a really horrible reaction—as in, I almost died—to the vaccines. That is what made my mom think that it was the vaccines that gave me Asperger's, even though the causes of AS are still unclear and the vaccines-cause-autism thing has been discredited multiple times. But see, even though I had a bad reaction, I know those are relatively rare. I'm glad other people vaccinate their children. I'm glad their immunity protects me and others with allergies from the diseases prevented by vaccines. Just because I can't get vaccines doesn't mean I think everyone should quit vaccinating altogether.

    That's horrible! The whole vaccine thing isn't any less ridiculous over here in the states. Just make them available to those who want them, build herd immunity, and let those with allergies abstain. Simple, right? Well, it was...until someone decided they cause autism. Doesn't matter if it's been discredited. My own mom can't hear the word "vaccine" without launching into a rant about how they made me an Aspie and only her opting me out of the last round as an infant kept me from becoming "severely autistic." And then outside our family, there are debates raging about something that shouldn't be all that complicated, all because of something that was discredited years ago.

    Raycyclist was a ship long before the Unicyclist got powers. In fact, the decision to give him powers was made when I jokingly mentioned "having an evil Unicyclist rolling around Portland," and Edge said he liked the idea of that, and thus the Unicyclist was born.

    Maybe Sanderson should let his fans read what he has so far and judge whether or not we think it's 24% or 25%. We'd need to read it to guess the correct percentage because shut up now is not the time for stupid questions.

    But....it's a post-apocalyptic world, where Epics are above the law and have no need to sign legal documents, so why would Nighthound need to fake her... Oh, never mind. If it's Nighthound, I probably don't want to know.
