  1. Not only that, but Big Al's powers being "well within reason" also bodes well for some of our other Epics with stranger powers. I'm always up for a nice trip to Nightmaretown.
  2. Especially since that could be the cutest date ever.
  3. Big Al and Voidgaze will rule as Emperor and Empress from their McMuffin Palace. Which means once it's created, Al will be beyond corrupted, what with the power used in conjuring all those sandwiches....
  4. "What happened in The Dalles?" "JUSTICE."
  5. I still call it a win for the rest of us, since the same scene that landed Deathwish on the ATTD List also let us see him in humiliated agony. Can't say that for many on the ATTD List.
  6. Yeah, Deathwish had quite the battle with corrupted!Impact, which ended with Impact calling the cops on him (saying he'd snapped and was killing everyone) and Arsenal taking him into custody.
  7. He's seriously one of the more awesome authors I've known. I was actually about to say the same thing. You could put Voidgaze and Shiny Sparkle in the "exploder" category, Aldo in the "shrinking and expanding" category, Funtimes in the "transmuter" category, and so on.
  8. Are you trying to make me waver in my desire to see it? Because it's not working. Does he also walk into a steakhouse five minutes before they close and order his steak well done, because Evil is Petty like that?
  9. My sister had to read The Stranger and she absolutely loathed it. Seriously, she'd pause her reading every few pages to rant about how awful the book was. Here in the States, we don't make boys read about ballrooms and high society so much as we make girls read about men and their problems. Most books considered "literature" at The high school level are told from a male perspective--Oedipus, Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet, The Great Gatsby, Death of a Salesman, and so on. And I liked many of those, but many books told from a female perspective are more likely to be taught at the university level in a Women's Studies class.
  10. Oh! On the unique Epics front, we have a WoB to make us all feel better! Instabam! According to Brandon, his powers involve potatoes somehow. So if Instabam can do it, our Epics can do it.
  11. Well, that about confirms three-quarters of the Epics on Voidus' lists.
  12. I'd say Epics like Funtimes, Voidgaze, Aldo, Cornucopia, and others more bend than break canon. Maybe all the uniquely powered Epics went to Oregon because it's a state known for its quirky cities? And I think the fact that many of those Epics have a more common secondary, or a twist on a more common power helps. But yes, if anything, that comment seems to make all of our teleporters and energy converters more canon, not less.
  13. I think it does. And I also think it makes TooMuchOxy's power to turn elbows into chicken practically canon.
  14. If Corvallis falls to Iconoclast, or if Iconoclast has a sizable role in its downfall, Vondra at least will mention it. He'll want to know everything there is to know about this guy, most importantly whether or not he's still alive, because that Epic could probably bring The Dalles down all by himself.
  15. How many of those would Autumn know? And with Scribbler-was that a present thing or a future thing?
  16. Headcanon accepted. That's what I thought. She knows about Ty, so she probably knows other things, but I'm under the impression that even a nicer Epic like Edgerunner would be afraid to share her weakness with anyone.
  17. Neither is she. When she watched Les Miserables with my parents, they told me she cheered for Javert and constantly wondered aloud why Jean Valjean didn't turn himself in if he was such a good man...until my dad pointed out that she was kind of missing the point of the whole movie.
  18. I think he meant something far more dire. Something that starts with "Nighthound" and ends with "Junior." Right. I doubt Autumn would actually know anyone's weakness, save for those Vondra knows and shared with her. (Not sure how many he knows, honestly ) She'd only know events Scribbler and Edgerunner shared with her, and in Scribbler's case at least, that probably wouldn't be nearly everything.
  19. You know, the more I think about it, the more I realize the original episode list has an unintended consequence. I really want to see the Redleaf episode now.
  20. Yep. The 22nd limits a president to serving two terms (after Frankiln D. Roosevelt served four), so we might need that one if Kobold takes this president thing too far.
  21. Who else votes to put Edgedancer in charge of all TV shows forever?
  22. Earliest possible is fine. If that means giving her a completely unnecessary power to sense when an Epic is going to have a child and teleport there, so be it. I for one don't want to know if such a hybrid is even possible.
  23. You forgot an episode. Holiday Special: The Reckoners' celebration is going well. For a while, it appears the only crisis will come when Tia nearly runs out of cola...but cola crises are forgotten when a portly Epic dressed in red with a long white beard brings gifts to the city's children. Can the Reckoners stop Santa Disastra from delivering his deadly gifts in time for the holiday meal? Of course they can!
  24. Just that if you do write an Epic baby, Voidgaze automatically gets custody, whether or not it makes sense.
  25. No she's not. Well, she is, but Voidgaze's orphanage will save the child. JUST LET ME HAVE MY HEADCANON, OKAY?
