  1. This is an important question, Kobold.
  2. It's Arsenal in a frog suit, shipped with Redlight while Lightwards dates his hat. What's so disturbing about....okay, I guess it's a little disturbing.
  3. Would Scribbler dress Arsenal in a frog suit?
  4. I think that could actually work.
  5. "Honestly, Commander, all I want is to get to my date with Frog Suit Jerry, and you're busy going all Rambo and judging my life choices!"
  6. Sadly, I cannot think of a single plausible way to get Arsenal into a frog suit. No, he's just a guy who wears a frog suit, like ya do.
  7. The usual way: As a result of Edgerunner's brainstorming sessions on new and creative ways to raise Arsenal's blood pressure.
  8. Unless Kobold says otherwise, Redlight/guy in a frog suit is still possible.
  9. I think the right moment is now.
  10. It says a lot about Lightwards that both of his OTPs are with inanimate objects. And that Aldo's OTP is with a murderous raptor. And that Nighthound's OTP is with death.
  11. Do I smell a love triangle?
  12. If we knew more about Newcago, I could flesh out the details a bit better. As it is, I'm going off headcanon and what we do know , which is probably at least partly inaccurate, so I'm kind of working off more than a little vagueness here. But thanks to the signing answers, I know all about time bubbles! That's my OTP.
  13. Oh, no. She wasn't dating him at all. Just hanging out with him and the others with him for the evening. She was in Newcago, he found her and invited her to the casino so he could show off and also keep an eye on her, she was looking for a distraction and went. But yeah, she wasn't in a relationship with him or anyone else. Don't forget Lightwards/ Hat.
  14. She did think he was cute when she saw him in the casino, and she'd already begun to think he must be a nicer guy than Fortuity based on what little she saw of his interactions with the other servers, so she was already thinking about running off with him before her date revealed his plans for the evening. You've been trapped by Fate itself.
  15. Telling in that it screams "Rescuenapping meets one-sided instalove"? Because that's basically the entire basis for his and Funtimes' relationship at the moment. I never have two characters argue like a passive aggressive old married couple without reason.
  16. Of course this question comes when I can't ponify Nathan's response. "Revolution? The...the sort of hippie-ish girl I just met? She's cute, and she called Lightwards a joyous leprechaun, so she seems pretty awesome...wait, did Funtimes hear that? Sparks, tell me she didn't hear that! I--I just like her as a friend, okay? And I think most girls are pretty, in their own way and--Calamity. She's going to kill me, isn't she."
  17. True, but as I pointed out, you could count the number of Epics slated to face their fears by the end of the game on one hand. In a game where the entire state is going to be destroyed by loathsome Epics, I think we NEED a few Epics to face their fears just to keep the whole thing from descending into Darkness Induced Audience Apathy.
  18. I'm at my graduation ceremony. I'm on my phone. Know why? Because it hasn't been about the graduates. It's just blowhard after blowhard talking about themselves. I. Hate. This. School. I hope their sports teams lose every game. Every. Single. One. Forever. POST-CEREMONY UPDATE: The ceremony was two hours. An hour and a half of that was faculty giving long speeches and patting themselves on the back. The last twenty minutes were dedicated to the graduates. They didn't even call our names. They just had us stand while they announced our college and the degree we were getting.
  19. For one thing, David is in Newcago and our characters are in Oregon. It's about to be embroiled in war, and a lot of characters won't survive. Not only will the war keep them busy, but it's pretty implausible that David would know when every Epic in the FSA faces their fears. So in other words, it's completely plausible that it could happen, remain localized, and only escape the state in rumor. Second, we've planned it tentatively for two Epics, with one tentatively post-fear. Three Epics, out of over three dozen, plus more that haven't been named. Most player Epics have been slated to grow worse, and those who aren't probably won't make the fear-corruption connection. I agree that it shouldn't be common, but it won't be. Most Epics, as I said, are only going to get worse.
  20. I summon tsunamis with my uncovered safehand.
