Opinion I hope isn't unpopular: If your readers need a 14-circle Venn diagram to keep all your characters and factions straight, you might have too many of both.

  It's not even really a Venn-diagram. It's just a bunch of circles inside of each other, they aren't intersecting. A bunch of them are also super unnecessary. It could be distilled down to three, maybe four max.
