Ye gods this is definitely hard to get through…1st a Perrin chapter that’s followed by a Faile chapter… I hate these two characters more and more each time I read this series though I still love Perrin until she gets introduced.

Power watched Blue Eyed Samurai yesterday while my sisters Netflix worked on my tv(checked today and the household block rust is back in place) and it was very good imo. Only thing that I wasn’t a fan of was a bit of modern sounding music in ep 6. Show is graphic and adult sexual so be aware of that. Have seen lots of John Wayne for the 1st time recently. Perfect. Just perfect entertainment.

Oh man my completion list for 2023 is going to be my lowest ever.. Finally finished Night Angel 4 just past midnight today. 4/25/23-11/13/23 yikes. That was number 5 for the year. Really yikes. I liked this book yet didn’t like this book. Wonderful to be back in that world with those people but boring location lockdowns plague those 832 pgs.. Looking forward to book 5. Now back on WoT 11 as main read of the day. Hopefully I won’t pick up a 2nd book again. I usually do though.. I really need to finish this series rerereread. 2 years now.

I read NS on my very 1st series go before TEotW. I’ve never read it again on the other trips. It’s not bad but it’s not good either. It’s just there. Looking forward to your take on it. I’ve forgotten alot about it.

So this sell goes to the 18th. I think I can summon the willpower to hold off since I was talked into Crossbell 1st and I’m a snail so maybe they will have a Xmas/new year sale next to see if they blanket it across all editions. I find it strange it’s not. May have to wait for a Big in Japan sale to hit again. Be nice if I can get that at over 25% off.

His part is tiny under RJ. He is in the forest with Logain when Toviene and 50 others go to Black Tower in Bk 9.

I ll leave it unwatched. Will hopefully get to Zero before the end of the year.

Glad you finished. Brandon did a hell of a job with it at the end. Also I totally loathe the Wheel of Prime show. Ive been skipping the majority of your post covering his books as I’ve only read them once as they released so I’m not as familiar with them as the others that I have read now a 3rd time so I’ve forgotten a bit and want to be fresh when I finally get to them again. Did you enjoy Androl? I believe he has been in since bk 9 but BS got to take him on his own original adventure for his 3 and I remember really enjoying him.

Cool. Did you find Mat off completely? I sure did but San lines him back up in Towers.

I haven’t read through thread since I last posted. Did you finish Gathering yet? gah I’m only on page 60 of Knife rerereread so I guess yes I am going to be a turtle again like I was for Crossroads.

Big question is can you tell the difference from J to S’s style? I think he was a bit shaky with some things but S really started gelling in bk 2 with a J like flow. I’ve only read his 3 once so I’m looking forward to seeing the flow once again once I finish 11. I started that today and I’m really hoping it doesn’t take me months to get through like 10 did this time around. Ugh that was painful.

Wow I’ve finally finished my rerereread of WoT 10 today. Only been reading it since Feb… Onto 11. Always get sad when I read his last full book.

Azure 25% off on Switch! Downloading now. Maybe I’ll start Zero tomorrow. Should really finish XC3 1st though. I’ve played that to long already with mostly zero progress barring just filling in area maps a bit each day. We shall see.

Finished FF16. I had many problems with the execution of this game but the worldbuilding/story was very fun imo. Looking forward to the dlc. Was going to get Starfield today but as I was waiting for GameStop to open I saw a small bit of gameplay (resource gathering just like on NMS) and put the truck in drive to go do my next thing. Idk bout this game now. I just wanted it cause it’s Bethesda and so I could finally give my Box some love instead of collecting dust. Back on Xenoblade 3 now. Will start Trails to Zero if I don’t get Starfield soon to.

You talking about transfer or haptic feedback for Calvard? It’s a PS5 game so I’m guessing it would have it?

Wonder if there is any kind of transference from CS for it? I’m sure there is no haptic feedback on this. Is there for Calvard?

Ok my Heroes peeps is there any word on Reverie in the get on this console instead of that console yet? I believe that’s next month. Oh Rusty rusting ruststicks…XC3, FF16 & Rev..I’m going to be in trouble with that cluster…

So on one hand I now own and have played a whopping 5 minutes or so of FF16 baby!!! On the other I had new wires and a new way to hook my rubber bands up so my mouth feels like it was kicked by a horse and I have no pep to play any more today. Butttt at least as every other main line Final Fantasy since 9 I can say I’ve played since launch date! Just sucks so much that it’s not an all day session like all the others as I squeeee in excitement.

Wasn’t a PoD fan on previous reads but it was better this most recent time. WH was always good to me. CoT has always been the worst. I’m still slogging through that one all these months later.

FF16 tomorrow!!! I was going to trade in Disney Wars Jedi Survivor but I ll hold off incase something changes. Atm it’s a big dnf and I sent it to my external to make room for FF16. My biggest hope for 16 is that it rinses the ashes out of my mouth that 15 put in. Bonus points if it gets back to the epicness of 1-12 lvls of awesomesauce. And of course I’m not even close to done with Xenoblade 3 sigh Im so slow with games since Hurricane Laura.
