Weird timing that I was just talking about more books yet this news I heard moments ago isn’t about more books but about more WoP.. Amazon is doing an animated White Tower movie and live action 3 Age of Legend films. They are totally going to milk this franchise and do more books though I can almost guarantee so you may not be done after all.

I ll have to try and remember that when once I get there but she is very forceful in 11 for the short time she has the 3 collared in her trailer. I would probably have to take a pass on other people’s books if it ever comes to pass. Though I am curious if he had time to commit any notes towards Outriggers before he got to sick. Been awhile since I spoke with Terez, I ll have to ask her about that next time I see her on. Haven’t seen her elseNet since shortly before WoP 1st aired. Yikes. Ed:though she may not be allowed to answer this.

How would you feel about someone else likely not having any of his notes diving in the world for more books?

Yep I just went ahead and read it 1st since it’s a prequel but all these years later with the addition of YouTube to the mix I hear a lot of people say to read it after bk 5. Had RJ not died when he did he was going to do another book called Outriggers dealing with Mat and Tuon going to retake Seanchan and I so would have loved that. I don’t think I ever want anyone else to enter this world with more books which I believe has definitely been talked about especially now that Wheel of Prime is here.

Gonna be a long time before I get to it but I hope it is a long game. Also all the extra bits loaded up with the PS4 icon. I may have to do some reloading when the time comes to move to the external.

This sell is kinda hidden.. if I hadn’t clicked on the game I wouldn’t have seen it on sale at all. Only ultimate is on discount atm. Downloading now. hmm I’m confused i know I saw this thing was 40+gb but now it’s telling me 19 gb. I’m wondering if there is a difference between the PS4/5 versions? I’m going the 5 route it seems instead of putting it on my external.

Hmm I just activated my 2 yr old laptops Gamepass code for my daughter and niece to play Minecraft and I was curious so I typed in Trails and 2 tv shows popped up! I can’t watch them though cause I don’t have crunchy roll that’s wild! I was certain I had access to crunchy hub through either MAX or Hulu but if I did it’s now off the selection. Im no closer to starting Zero either.. XC3 just continues to throw quests my way and I’m not not gonna do them. I’m on ch 7. Massive game!

That game was so hard for me. I couldn’t even finish the 2nd palace before I called it quits.

That last post got me thinking about my very 1st read through and how much faster I used to be. It was Nov 04’ while I was a manager at Booksamillion I picked up NS and by May 19th 05 I was reading bk 7 when a gal I was seeing moved out of state. By July 05’ I was done with bk 10 and eagerly awaiting 11 which I got in Texarkana as we were evacuated to Arkansas from hurricane Rita. I finished 11 in 9 days some of include being back home in Louisiana. I read the other 3 fairly quickly to after release even did a reread of 1-11 prior to 12 coming out. Now here I am on this reread that I’ve been on since just a few days prior to WoP S1 airing in 2021. Still have a ways to go to. Yikes!

Towers is what I’m looking forward to.. At halfway point in 11. Elayne is getting to me a tad on this read with her mood. I figured you would have blown through NS fast as it’s on the smaller side.

It’s spoiler territory. Have you read all of the main books? As for Rings of Prime yes that is bad to but I’ve yet to see any Prime series that is above meh lvl. I haven’t watched alot of their originals because of that yet.

My memory of NS as I’ve said is hazy after all this time but I just took it as in the moment/passing time. I think Rafe made a bigger deal with it than needed esp since having the knowledge of Thom/Gareth in my head. WoP is certainly not WoT but it’s the only WoT we are ever likely going to get so I will continue to watch it though so far from S1 ep 8 to current it’s turned into a hate watch. It’s not a good adaptation at all.

Does she name drop Seanchan or is lands to the west? If it’s a name drop it may clash with early books. Pretty sure the lands are just a myth until they land and name drop themselves but hell they show up in bk 2 so there may not be much there other than Hawkwings legend sprinkled in.

Getting reports of Seanchan 20+ yrs before they get there? Definitely don’t remember that but it was 2004 when I read NS. Also that foretelling in Wheel of Prime was atrocious to watch. Idk why Rafe has old ladies playing Aes Sedai.

I meant Thom’s letter that he has to ask about before he can say/show Mat. There is a good bit RJ brings to a close that was building up when he was certain only one more book was going to be written to end series. I just thought this part was more towards the end of Knife rather than before the halfway point. Been over a 100 pgs of Mat so far and I remember being so happy about that when new. Iirc it’s one of the longest continuous Mat chapters of the series.

I’d say it’s also dependent on what your graphics preferences are. Like I’m an 80’s kid so I can go back and play with blobs no problem but good luck if I can get my offspring to watch something being played on a PS2 without some serious complaints. My 1st RPG was Final Fantasy 8 and it has a special place in my heart for the launch into franchise/genre. Grandia 1-3 was fun and simple to. Skies of Arcadia is epic. idk how easy it would be to find those two series now days without the specific consoles they played on, but Final Fantasy is everywhere I’m pretty sure.

I’d say hold off on Elder Scrolls games till more experienced. They can be way to intimidating just jumping right in. Get something simple like an easy to play Final Fantasy game with uncomplicated systems and good story. Most of those are one and done instead of being hammered with massive amounts of lore.

I wonder if I ll ever reread it on future rereads. Hmm Mat just asked to read a certain letter and I could have sworn it was towards the end of 11 rather then before pg 300 even got here. Been a minute since I last read this.

Oh yeah it’s been my man’s Mat with 4 chapters in a row so far.
