  1. Ooh - if the AG is already postponed for this, then I definitely don't want to interfere with that. I'll prolong signups for 24 hours, as I'm not going to have access to a computer until just before when signups are scheduled to end. Also, given that, there is a rollover scheduled for Christmas Day for Day 2 - that cycle will be extended for 24 hours, as I will not be able to do rollover as that time. Other than that, I think everything should be fine.
  2. If you have any questions before the game, put them here. After it starts, you can either ask in the thread or you can ask in the PM that has your role and faction in it. Well, sheep's official name in-game isn't Stick, so you could still if you wanted to...
  3. If there were a reasonable second choice of suspicion, I'd argue for us to leave DA to Wilson's vial of mixed metals (I'm assume that if she could kill herself, she could kill DA) and lynch the second suspect. With the lack of any clear consensus on other suspicions, and given the prevalence of protection items, I think I'll vote DA
  4. The last person I've seen pull a WGG was actually Wilson, I think. LG15? Somewhere around there? We need @Elberethfor this one, I think.
  5. Has Second retired from shard holding, then? Well, like I said, some of the meta roles got converted into regular roles with items and investiture and everything. The only one I really miss is the suicidal analyst, though the troll was kind of fun. The puppet master became the forger, the stick and the scapegoat are gone (good riddance). No more outed player zombies - That's what feruchemists are for
  6. @Magestar I will say this: there are no meta roles. Those caused mostly just problems in lg21, and they didn't add fun to the game (ask sheep how dying because you targeted yourself with a defence action was...) So they are gone. The lifeless commander and the puppet master got upgraded to regular roles, though. To find out about secret roles though, you'll have to PAFO
  7. Alright. The heart has been found, and we have a means to kill it, if DA can be trusted. My read on that interaction was that he was being honest, so I'll believe him. Do we have anyone who can translate the writing? Or can anyone do it without needing special abilities? If you translated it last night DA, can you give us further instructions?
  8. I saw the writeup before I read my PM, and I was all excited because I thought that it meant that I had found the Heart of the House. Unfortunately, that was not the case. I wonder who did.
  9. Sorry to hear it. Hope you can make it into another game I run later. Welcome to a Game of Shards! (Well, not really, that was the first Shard Game, IIRC. But the sentiment isn't that far off...) I think you might have made it into the signups of LG21 (you are on the player list...) but I don't know if you were active in it. Either way, glad to have you here! We are now 2/5 of the way to the minimum number to play this game (I really don't want to do less than 25 because of how many different roles there are), and 1/3 of the way to our stretch goal of 30 players. Sign up now to unlock a new world - Threnody, and at least one new role associated with it!
  10. Ooh - excellent! Glad to see you signing up. I changed Preservation's power just so you couldn't break my game again I might have already anticipated your starting planet from your RP...but yes. Yes you can. Glad to have you on board.
  11. Just put up signups for LG29: A Mote in Adonalsium's Eye. Anyone interested in getting into Sanderson Elimination, sign up now for your chance at ultimate Shardic power!

  12. You can indeed request a world to start on. I'm going to make the distribution even, so if a lot of people request one world and nobody requests another, I'm going to have to move a few, but I'm going to try to honor starting requests.
  13. Aren't we quiet tonight. I'm glad my trust of Wilson worked out alright. I'll admit to being worried towards the end there.
  14. LG29: A Mote in Adonalsium's Eye The wind whispered across what passed for plains, here in the Spiritual Realm. Sheon Idris turned his face from his contemplation of a steel and gold crown, now worn with the use of many years. In that instant, a lady stood beside him, brighter than the noon-day sun. "The sleeper stirs! This is a portenteous occasion." Her voice sounded amused, with a hint of exasperation. "Why, Lady Kiireon, you sound almost impatient." He smirked slightly, watching her annoyance build. "Of course I am impatient, you old fool. Eons wander on and still you wait here, asleep while the Cosmere changes around you. What do you expect to do, wait until entropy grinds all things to dust and bring back God to rule an empty realm? Preparation is required, I am sure, but you take the concept to an absurd level." He laughed. "Perhaps so, Brightness. Perhaps so. Regardless of what has passed before, I feel that time has - very suddenly - become very short. The chaos wrought by the Ones Who Turned has been contained. The Shards have again reached a state of stasis. Even Odium and Autonomy are integrated into the whole, at least for now. Things haven't been this quiet since before I suborned the 17th Shard. But there's a sort of feeling in the air." She looked at him archly. "Just like that? After so long sitting and doing nothing, you are ready to act now?" "Well, almost now. My shade is taking care of some...errands on Nalthis. But it will be finished soon, and I will have need of it before the end." He paused for a moment, then spoke softly. "Can you hear it? Change is coming. If we do not act now to reforge God, the Cosmere itself will intervene - and we may not like what comes of it." The lady fell quiet, and for the space of a heartbeat they listened together. Then they were gone, leaving no trace that they had ever been. The wind blew on across the still ground, and in it whispered power. Rules: Welcome to Long Game 29: A Mote in Adonalsium's Eye! This is a sequel/rerun of LG21 (which, in turn, was a sequel/rerun of LG14, which in turn was a sequel/rerun of LG10, which in turn was a sequel - at least in terms of story - to QF4). The last run was a wee little bit broken, and this iteration attempts to remedy the issues that the last game faced. Now, we continue the story of Hoid and his epic quest to reforge Adonalsium, the Shattered God of the Cosmere. Come sign up now to secure your place in the story, and to get your chance at unlimited Shardic power! Signups will last until December 19th at 2 PM (although I reserve the right to extend them if we don't get enough players). Player List: 1. 15. No, if you came up and claimed that you had a scan ability or item and had find someone evil using it, I'd jump on the lynch just as easily. I take scanners seriously unless they give me a reason to mistrust them. It wouldn't even be a bandwagon at that point, because there is good, solid evidence for a lynch. Your idea about waiting, frankly put, is awful. The village gains nothing by waiting. You, however, might. If you are on Hael's team, then you gain a lot by waiting. I think that - pending the results of this lynch - I know where my attention will be focused.
