  1. if you liked Mistborn then i'd say that most likely you'll love EVERYTHING else. Welcome to the forum It's great!
  2. this thread is just gold! haha i love it.
  3. if you don't like it you don't like it i guess. It's basically just fairytale-esque and there's magic. plus a good story.
  4. I just finished Uprooted last week and i loved it as well! Best book i've read this year i think. Very well done in my opinion.
  5. i just had a look and i could not find it at all..
  6. Now that's interesting.. a cache of stormlight filled metal somewhere haha but that's pretty cool
  7. Fair enough. i guess if someone bought Elder scrolls expecting skyrim they'd be pretty pissed off. definitely more MMO focused. Classes restrict you heaps but i think that's exactly what they were going for. I waited a year and a half for them to release it on ps4 so i feel like it was worth the wait haha
  8. had you pre ordered the game, you can play as any race, regardless of faction. but yeh, that's only for the pre orders. I wouldn't let that limit whether i buy it or not anyways. it's set in a time of civil war. so i guess where you're from on the map makes a difference in the bigger picture. I see where you're coming from though, it might not have been really necessary. Still, i think the game is excellent
  9. Elder Scolls Online on ps4. Addicted.
  10. your english is literally spot on. Better than mine and i've grown up in Australia speaking english for all my 20 odd years haha My first Sanderson book was The Way of Kings. so it'll always be my favourite. but Mistborn also holds a special place.. i agree though, they're all perfect!!!
  11. welcome! glad you've come to join us! these forums are awesome and you can ask absolutely anything. someone (not me) will have a good answer. So out of the books you've read so far.. which did you like the most?
  12. Guys sorry i didn't reply earlier, i honestly thought no one replied to this because i got no updates from it! checked now and how true your advice was.. Thanks so much for proving this is the best forum on the net!! You guys are amazing
  13. loved it! thought it was amazing! Blue was just knocked away. "Stunned", if you will, for a time. I thought the story would be crap but the dinosaurs would make up for it. i'll just say i left the cinema more than satisfied. I'd call it a success
  14. just started The Queen of the Tearling. A friend has really wanted me to read this so i'm doing it for them. any one else read it? thoughts?
  15. i had no idea what the cosmere was, i was just looking online for a good book to read (and i hadn't even read many books at the time) came across the way of kings, looked interesting, massive page count but thought i'd try it out. For the first 500 pages, i thought it was okay, but couldn't work out why it had such amazing reviews. nothing special really. Then the next 300 or so pages, i was more engaged and eager. Then the final 200 pages had me on edge and up all night! By the end, it was literally the best book i'd ever read! it NEEDED to be that long to appreciate everything. i wouldn't change a single thing about it. Since then i've read a whole lot of fantasy including all other cosmere books, kingkiller chronicle, first 4 wheel of time books, first law, demon cycle, etc and nothing is as good as the stormlight archive in my opinion so far (though Wheel of Time is on par for me). So please read it, just for the eventual experience.
  16. Dark eyes with brown hair and tanned skin. so i fit an Alethi to an extent haha
  17. Thankfully i've finally converted one! Got a friend to read The Rithmatist, she loved it as much as me. Then made her read Mistborn. She loved Final Empire more than WoA but still loved them both. Can't wait until she reads the next one! It's like witnessing how i felt when reading the books!
  18. i kinda really hope his mum and dad are still alive.
  19. Male: Frankie Female: Alice Anna, Jasey Rae
  20. although i don't post a lot, i come onto this forum pretty much every day. So from the bottom of my heart, and i think there are a lot of other people like me, thank you so much for all your work! This really is an amazing forum, there's no doubt about that. Here's to another 5 great years!!
  21. i'd love to go back and do it all again. but i'm not sure my general feelings would change. i think no matter what you'' always have ups and downs. But that just literally depends on your path
  22. So much to check out! thanks so much!!! really appreciate it
  23. Haha i hope you like Alesana! i love the music but it's also what they write about that i love! and lyrically i think they're great. The newest album is about the book series a wrinkle in time, the album before that was Dante's Inferno, the album before that was of an Edgar Allan Poe story, and 2 albums before that was Greek Mythology and Brothers Grimm tales. So they all have great stories in every song! haha Incase you're also curious, their last 3 albums were a trilogy using 2 characters over the 3 albums. but using the above stories as the background. The Annabel Trilogy
  24. My name is Michael and i've never been in any room when i'm the only Michael. Seriously they're everywhere!! As far as nicknames go, i always prefer Mike. Although my last name is Froio, and I'm short. Therefore my school and work nickname was always Frodo. I just went with it
  25. my url is erai-brings-the-blight i post cosmere plus general fantasy stuff
