Man there are so many different ways to pronounce names that sometimes it's disheartening to hear them. When you've called a character a certain name for so long and then an audio book comes out and says it differently and all of a sudden you don't know which one to use, i hate it! I think you should just go with what pronunciation you like best and stick with. It's kind of like how certain surnames can be pronounced differently depending on the country you're in.

The silmarillion can be a very difficult read. I absolutely love it, but there's so many names and places that make it hard t follow.

I play rhythm guitar, was in a decent band I only consider myself an average player though, I was the song writer. And I've taught myself piano. Just a few certain things. If there was one instrument i wish i could master it'd be the piano for sure! I've only read the first book in the Bartimaeus sequence, but I'm actually looking forward to the rest now! Someone needs to please make a thread and do a poll or list of a whole bunch of book series and everyone can vote or order them so i know what to read next! there's so many options!
